Reviews for Hotel Garni Pegrà

Review 1:Loved the location and breakfast! The staff were happy to make reservations at local spa and restaurants. They made excellent recommendations for Christmas dinner. Skiing was great- went for a hike too. Would return in a heartbeat

Review 2:Old, low quality decorations in reception and loby (uff), very dark room (not cozy), problems with heating (too cold). As we stayed there in pre ski season period, hotel was empty, sometimes even without employees; breakfast could be better.

Review 3:Excelent location, better ski pass price in hotel reception (cash only).

Review 4:excellent location, friendly staff, impressive interior and bedrooms, breakfast is amazing, secure car parking, walking distance into the centre. All our Tourers have stayed there multiple times, great place!

Review 5:The outdoor temperature had been around 31˚C and the temperature in the room was 25˚ C, but the aircon wasn't switched on, and when we asked if we could have it on, we were told by the young man at reception that we couldn't because we were in the mountains and it was cold in the mountains!

Review 6:Very nice modern hotel, rooms were very nice and clean. Breakfast was good.

Review 7:- I read that the hotel was at the piste, but in fact one had to walk +/- 350 m to take the cable lift, which takes +/- 15 min. to Passo Tonale (ideal though to adjust your gear and put on sun screen ; ) ) - Locker for snowboard/ ski's + boots is payable (5 EUR per day)

Review 8:- Good value for money - Friendly staff - Nice breakfast - Cozy atmosphere - Indoor parking (payable though, i. e. 10 EUR per day)

Review 9:Dealing with the wifi is frustrating. Have to ask the reception to renew the user twice a day. Breakfast is abit poor, we like eating vegetables and none were served.

Review 10:We arrived at 23:00 and Thomas was waiting at the reception. The rooms are large spacious and clean , very friendly staff, good location, Warm water 24/7, nice balcony, close parking. Good value for money.

Review 11:-Incredibly poor cold-snack breakfast, -the only 'proper breakfast meal - boiled eggs, were served cold (one of the ladies, probably the owner, refused to serve fresh warm eggs when we politely asked), -no proper duvet cover, just white sheet and blanket -big group of noisy children on the same floor -Internet works only on the ground floor... not in the rooms.

Review 12:View from the balcony

Review 13:No restaurant, location is quite far out from the rest of the village. The walls are paper thin, you could hear everything on the other side. Although the hotel looked really nice, it lacked some basic stuff most hotels offer today: free wifi in rooms - this hotel gave free wifi at the lobby, but you had to pay for rooms.

Review 14:It was a 5 min walk to the ski lifts. Very clean. Breakfast was great and was ready by 8am.

Review 15:Bed and pillows were too hard. Room was cold so had to request increase in temperature and extra blanket. Noise attentuation between rooms very poor. Paying 5 Euros per night for ski locker, secure storage should be included.

Review 16:Very clean and modern. Great breakfast. Location convenient for ski lifts and walk into town,

Review 17:Nothing

Review 18:Staff were great - especially Thomas. Good breakfast. Close to lift. Although on main road it was not a problem. Good views from all rooms. Good value.

Review 19:Breakfast could be more varied.

Review 20:Hotel is situated 200 m. from cabin lift (to Passo del Tonale) and chair lift and 10 minutes from the center of a lovely, small city Ponte di Legno; Staff is really helpfull; Very nice view over mountains from the balcony; Clean bathroom; Nice lounge with fire place on the ground floor.

Review 21:Troubles with WiFi, each day u have to get a special code to connect to WiFi. After 3 days all of the codes were incorrect and my device couldn't accept the connection. Troubles with heating, sometimes it was cold at night, couple of times we had to call to reception and ask to turn on the heating.

Review 22:Location is perfect, pleasant staff, nice breakfast meals, cozy fireplace.

Review 23:Three star hotel, one star breakfast: uht milk, sullen waitress, factory made buns/biscuits, no hot food, tepid water from a machine with an aged Liptons teabag, nasty factory ham/sheese in squares, little metal packets of gooey red jam, riconstituted fruit juice from a machine - that breakfast must cost them no more than one euro a head. For Euro 354 a night I wanted a better breakfast.

Review 24:very clean, quiet, nice receptionist, good parking and garage (paid extra 10 euros) New fittings, warm and cosy, if you don't eat breakfast this is the hotel for you.

Review 25:Very nice......

Review 26:No restaurant and drinks in the hotel were more expensive than nearby hotels.

Review 27:Excellent location, very comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast.

Review 28:No restaurant at the hotel, the beds were a bit stiff and not so comfortable.

Review 29:Friendly atmosphere, very well located only 50 meters from the ski area.

Review 36:Quiet and comfortable

Review 37:Good location for skiing, hire shop within 300 m ans lift and lift pass within 200m. Village was good value

Review 38:Staff very friendly. Walking distance to the city center. Beautifully surroundings.

Review 39:On the main road opposite petrol station. Find something within the nice town close by. Poor meal in recommended SanMarco restaurant.

Review 40:Location Rooms

Review 41:nothing to report

Review 42:Location, walk to city centre Clean and comfortable beds Great meals Friendly staff Underground car park

Review 43:staff hardly speak english

Review 44:facilities nice rooms good breakfast

Review 45:The Garni Pegra is a modern newly built hotel done in the old Alpine style and located on the new section of road around this beautiful town. Everything was clean and new so I only have praise for this hotel. The town is a very short walk away so don't be put off by this hotel's location on the edge of town.

Review 46:-extra charge of €1/day for usage of frigo bar (not drinks, but only the usage) -room was cold and didn't have room-heating adjustment - breakfast was poor these are little signs that the hotel is cutting costs down, with the consequences of disminishing customer's expectations

Review 47:location, close to the slopes

Review 48:Super close to skilift Price Facilities in general

Review 49:Miserable and staff.

Review 50:Clean and new.
