Set in Trevignano Romano on the shore of Lake Bracciano, Borgo Vistalago is a collection of medieval buildings that have been elegantly converted. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

Reviews for Borgo Vistalago

Review 1:Parking was difficult to find but I guess that was due to arriving At peak time on a Sunday afternoon.

Review 2:First of all the greeting was very good by the staff, clear and hassle free. The room and decor was very chic and the location perfect for bars and restaurants for an evenings entertainment.

Review 3:All very fancy, but staff not interested in us. And the fancy apartment could only be accessed via a winding internal steel staircase that could never be used by anyone who is not 100% fit ... The fancy shower was so badly designed that it flooded the bathroom and the bedroom ...

Review 4:Wi-Fi didn't work. Finding a place to park is challenging as the hotel is right on the lake front. Breakfast is now in the hotel's own restaurant - ok but not much choice.

Review 5:Interesting, clean rooms. Lake views. Helpful staff. Very close to plenty of restaurants. Nice lakeside village.

Review 6:It may be useful to mention the spiral staircase in the room we stayed in - to check the mobility of visitors. This room would not be suitable for some elderly people.

Review 7:Nicely decorated, clean and sleek. The air conditioning was essential in the heat wave we experienced during our stay. Didn't notice the check-in deadline of 7:00pm but the receptionist had left instructions to contact him when we arrived at 7:45pm.

Review 8:Wifi available in the reception area only. Not necessarily a bad thing if you are on vacation.

Review 9:Great waterfront location. Many good restaurants within a short walk. Breakfast is in the local cafe on the square with large selection of coffee, pastries, etc.

Review 10:We paid for a suite and had an ordinary room with after all stairs on the main road 300 m away from main building which was closed most of the time we paid 140euros a night for a suite and it was not worth 40 breakfast was in a Cafe bread shop another 300metres all ok but way overpriced

Review 11:Virw

Review 12:My husband and I traveled to Trevignano to attend a wedding at the Veunata Ripolo. The hotel was right on the lake and we could see the water and boardwalk right from our window. We were in the Red Room and it was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and the bathroom and shower were all that was needed. Restaurants lined the lakeside. It was off season which was actually nice as it was not crowded. It seems this is a close getaway for those in Rome. Over the weekend the population increased with a triathlon, but that just made it more interesting. The staff was informative and helpful in finding the different places we needed to see and visit. (The wedding site and different lakes in the area). We hiked up the hill behind the town to see the ruins and drove over to the Castello Odescalchi di Bracciano. All within a short driving distance and a very scenic drive with trees lining the road. We would have done more if we had the time. The weather was fantastic. Mid September. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Review 13:You'll have you're breakfast in a Café somewhere else in the town. That's not a problem for us but I think its fair to inform others.

Review 14:We booked a luxury room and got a huge stone-walled room that was beautiful and well decorated. The town is small so you're just next to the restaurants and lake shore but still far away from the road to have a quiet night. The town itself is enchanting.

Review 15:Anything to say!

Review 16:The awesome landmark, the kindness, the romanticism, the food, the manager problem solving, the rooms, the cleanness, and biggest surprise the breakfast. This is at least one of the most beautiful place on the lake, do not miss it!!!

Review 17:The furniture was shabby with some damage and I suspect that it was never intended to be used in a hotel. Internet access was absent in our room. The breakfast arrangements were sadly the worst of our tour.

Review 18:The room was as described and as booked with freedom to come and go with its own street door.

Review 19:Breakfast was at lovely cafe, but only junk food to eat, no fruit or cereal, just sweet, sweet carbs! Italians eat brioche and pastry- yes- but please provide fruit, yogurt, cereal option too.

Review 20:Beautiful room, great location, many restaurants, lovely lakeside promanade, sweet little town.

Review 21:Sloping ceilings - REALLY cracked my head a couple of times. Tight spiral staircase would be a problem for some. Window in roof meant awake early with the light.

Review 22:Quaint, imaginative conversion, stylish room. Immaculale bathroom. Brilliant location. Breakfast voucher for local cafe.

Review 23:Staff is amazing. View of the lake is incredible. Atmosphere is really very nice and inviting.

Review 24:Room, bathroom and view were amazing. Breakfast a bit limited but staff were brilliant.

Review 25:Breakfast

Review 26:Location

Review 27:great cozy apartments right in the village center

Review 28:Climbing the stairs to the top floor was difficult with the suitcase, but not a major negative factor

Review 29:Simple, clean and comfortable; met all my needs

Review 30:The room/ bathroom/ view/ breakfast! Fab stay

Review 31:Niente

Review 32:Lake view and close to restaurants and lake walk. Room was very nice and clean. Staff was very helpful.

Review 33:Breakfast at a nearby cafe. Not up to standard or Expectation

Review 34:A very cute room with friendly staff. Amazing location

Review 35:Price was not that cheap :)

Review 36:Breakfast was good, one can select everything from the near cafeteria

Review 37:I loved everything.

Review 38:only in the standard room, ancient window cannot stop completely sun's light in the early morning

Review 39:staff is very very friendly, breakfast on the lake is amazing (with many cakes hand made). very raccomended!!

Review 40:Finely decorated rooms, with amazing view. Yummy food. An incredibly friendly and professional staff that was able to meet all our requests. Great time ever!

Review 41:Shower controls too hard to operate. If staff could show people how touse and also advise that their office is closed from hours of 7.30pmthrough to 10.30am.

Review 42:Position is fantastic. Staff very helpful. Small villa styleaccommodation. Not a hotel

Review 43:Room was comfortable with glorious view of lake but a little basic - room size is good but ikea furniture did not make it feel luxurious - ensuite is unusual with window into room obviously provides daylight but compromises privacy a little.

Review 44:Small b&b inn opposite beautiful lake in a very picturesque small town with good choice of local restaurants. Liked going out for breakfast to classic Italian cafe on nearby piazza.

Review 45:Bed just fair Narrow stair well No bath

Review 46:Staff is young but very friendly and willing to please. Quiet (when the windows are closed) Location: one hour from the airport; close to Viterbo Dining on the promenade No tourists View of the lake Vibrant hot spot for Italians in their 20's

Review 47:Our room was quite noisy both at night & in the morning so we didn't sleep that well, perhaps some of the other rooms are less noisy. The staff forgot to turn the hot water button on so we had no hot showers on the first morning, however this was quickly fixed and they were super apologetic.

Review 48:The room, staff, food & drink were lovely & the fact that the rooms are all sprinkled around.

Review 49:Room was elsewhere in the town. Only way of contacting reception outside very limited opening hours was via a telephone number and went to a voicemail. No phone in room. Reception does not open until 9.30am.Breakfast has to be taken at a local bar with a voucher. Coffee and a pastry only. For 120 euro not good value.

Review 50:Clean comfy spacious room

Review 51:There is no parking but the hgotel site mentions this. Parking is possible but be aware that you may need to carry bags to the hotel. Make sure you apy the parking fees.

Review 52:Great location with great views over the lake. Small, boutique style hotel. The small suite is ideal if travelling with older children - seperate room. Breakfast is provided by a local cafe which is fun as you get a good sense of the local italian culture.

Review 53:There was not much attention to detail for the decoration or room maintenance. We felt it was a little overpriced for the standard of decor.

Review 54:The location was excellent; right by the busy waterside. The air conditioning was very welcome.

Review 55:The shower does not work very well. It is either very hot or very cold. So you either burnt or froze. The water did not seem to mix. We did point it out to Michela. This was the only issue in a pleasant stay.

Review 56:The location was excellent. The staff, mainly Michela, outstandingly helpful and really friendly. The room was really clean and spotless.

Review 57:Hot water cylinder too small to heat 2 showers & wasn't turned on when we arrived so took 3 hours to heat up. On noisy main road.

Review 58:Good location overlooking the lake. Food in restaurant at hotel of good standard. Upgraded to Junior suite - but this was really just a larger room.

Review 59:The reception was friendly and professional, they allowed us to an early check in and a late check out for free. The room was charming and comfy. Highly recommended.

Review 60:relatively new, funky designs, great view lakeside, staff not in your face, breakfast had at different cafes/bakeries nearby free of charge, upgraded us to nicest suite with view as few guests staying mid-week and off-season.

Review 61:The noise of the neighbour bars goes on to deep in the night. Bass music and yelling voices ! The beds are not professional hotel beds.

Review 62:Personnel is very friendly

Review 63:no soap or shampoo

Review 64:service, view, size of romm

Review 65:The location was great! The suite was very interesting and attractive.

Review 66:The noise from the toilet refilling.and the irish bar was very louduntil late.

Review 67:Warm,friendly,clean,and helpful,with beautiful views,
