Review 1：Very nice location in a large olive garden. Villa has a beautiful terrace(s) with nice vegetation and cosy shower among the plants and also barbecue and pizza oven. The windows and terrace overlooking a beautiful bay. The way to the sea along the sloping olive terraces takes about 5 minutes. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We spent a great week there.
Review 2：A negative would be that you are on the island and very dependent upon the public ferry to shuttle you back and forth to Porto Venere. They do have published schedules of the ferry times, but keep in mind that they may not run during rough weather. Also, the last published ferry time back to the island departed at 8pm (which really meant you couldn't enjoy a late dinner in PV or the other towns) without missing the ferry.
Review 3：As we were staying for 5 nights, the owner offered to go to the store ahead of our arrival and stock the kitchen with some of our requested items (like cheese, milk, wine, salami, etc)-which we paid him for upon arrival. Also, as the weather was a bit rainy the day we arrived, the normal public ferry had stopped running for a while. We called the owner to tell him we would be delayed arriving on the island and he came and picked us up at Porto Venere and brought us back to the villa. He even put our bags on his ATV so we didn't need to carry them up the hill ourselves. Also, the villa had a portable wifi device that you could carry with you around CT, which was great for turning it on and checking emails and the web. Very peaceful hanging around the villa grounds in the morning.
