Review 1：Don't pay the hotel to use their private beach - they charge you more than others and it's not close to the hotel at all.

Review 7：I like the staffs, they have been so helpful and always smile at you. The facilities were just great and the best is you don't pay that much. Great value!

Review 8：The staff at the hotel need to improve their customer service. I know the Italian way is more relaxed than the English expectation however; - When requesting an iron I was told 'meh, we don't have one' there is a laundry shop down the road but it isn't open - for a 4 star hotel I do not think that this is too big of an ask? - We also went to pre-book a taxi on the day of our departure however this was not actioned until we asked again when we checked out as the staff were all standing outside smoking in an area that you need to walk through to get to the pool - not very inviting. - The hotel is also lacking in a basic hotel guide in the room detailing prices etc. One day we entered the spa area for half an hour with no staff present to be told that there was a 20Euro charge per person just to use the sauna and pool however this is not detailed anywhere or advised at check in.

Review 9：The location of the hotel was great and the rooms were kept clean during our stay.

Review 10：Wi-fi signal in room not that strong. Room seemed slightly small to be described a quadruple executive but did have a decent bathroom and balcony. Neither detracted from our stay, which overall was fantastic.

Review 11：Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location in Sperlonga, off the main drag but only five minutes' from a fantastic public beach. Lovely pool and decent pool-side bar for drinks and lunch. High season so relatively expensive but still good value for money, for me. Would go back. Fab local mini-market and steakhouse nearly opposite.

No helpful at all didn't really care about guests needs.a lot of hidden costs that we discovered at the check in such as beach parking.... Review 33：We were travelling with a baby so would have been good to have a kettle. Staff were happy to provide hot water but it would have been easier to do it ourselves. The wifi connection was a bit rubbish and had to keep relogging in and even then was really slow. Overall a good hotel just us being picky!

Review 34：Nice hotel and we paid only a small amount extra for the upgrade so had plenty of space. Pool area was really nice and good spread for breakfast. Clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. We got a good rate but may have been a bit disappointed if we had paid 4 star prices!

Review 37：The shower leaked a bit. The wifi connection dropped from time to time. A little hotel pack in the room with mini bar prices, room service and opening/closing times of hotel facilities would have been useful. But none of these small hitches ruined our stay, we still had an amazing stay.

Review 38：We enjoyed our stay immensely. We had travelled down after a five day stay in Rome. We were welcomed with some complimentary soft drinks in our mini bar. It was a wonderful place to unwind based in a beautiful town. The pool barman was a joy and the cleaning lady did a professional job on our room every day, with nearly all the reception staff being very helpful. We will definitely return.

Review 39：Additional payment for towels for pool and car parking. Towels were not provided for beach, despite email request to confirm this. Finish to hotel of poor standard for 4 star. Becoming very tired. Room as a Superior, was not of that standard, or even the standard of a regular 4 Star room. No tea/coffee making facility in room. On arrival room was very warm as blackout curtains had not been closed. Inadequate parking for guests. Most of toiletries in bathroom were empty. Breakfast was basic. Pool area was limited and majority shaded by late afternoon.

Review 82：Wifi connection was poor in our room. The beach is not very far from the hotel (2-3 minutes walk) but the hotel's official beach area is a bit farther (~10 min walk but they also have free car service to take you there and back).

Review 84：We spent some wonderful days in this hotel. I'd like to say that we liked everything. Our room was nice and spacious, clean and cozy. Bed-clothes and towels were changed every day, maids were friendly. The swimming-pool and its area were clean and convenient. The location of the hotel is great - just five minutes walk to the sea.It was also possible to get to the beach on shuttle (the hotel has its own beach place which is about 10-13 minutes walk on foot) but we preferred to "take the air". I would also like to draw attention to guys, who were at the Reception (Giuseppe and the one whose name starts with "F" - sorry I don't remember) Bar place and Beach place. They were very-very friendly and helpful. Excellent job! Hope to come to Virgilio Grand Hotel next summer!

A good one-timer place to go & Virgilio Grand Hotel a good recommendable place to have a nice relaxation time. Oh, & the breakfast is nice too where you can have fresh squashed oranges from an automatic machine too & the banana yoghurts there are just great too ;D

Review 108：Sperlonga old town is beautiful, it's quie a few steps up the hill, but it's really worth the effort, both for the view and the restaurants. It's quite a long walk to the hotel's beach club, but it's on the nicest part of the beach.

I thought this was a little excessive. We also were placed in a room that was very quiet Louisville out of the way it was difficult to navigate without a guide. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, and shops and restaurants are child-friendly. The beach and surrounding countryside are lovely.

Review 127：The reception desk is often unstaffed for long periods of time and this can be frustrating when you want to ask something. Also, the design/layout of the hotel is odd. Some rooms require you to take two lifts (if you don't want to take the stairs, or can't take the stairs) and this can become tiresome.
