Review 1：Parking is difficult in the area but that's all of Portovenere. Make sure you call ahead as it's not a hotel.
Review 2：Can't fault this place, a set of 3 apartments all overlooking the harbor, all great views we were on ground floor. Appears to be recently refurbished immaculately, the owner clearly takes a lot of pride in the property. Ideal for a few days stay in the region.
Review 3：The double bed is a really uncomfortable camp bed. Half the shower door was missing. You could hear everything in the room above. The heating was so hot we had to turn on the AC! Both on arrival and departure we had to call to get into the property and pay up. I chose this place because of it's previous reviews and unfortunately we were rather disappointed with our stay here. If off peak is reflected in the standard (camp bed, broken shower door) then it should be reflected in the price. I would not recommend this place.

Review 8：Although this apartment is quite modest in size and facilities the location and the open balcony above the marina make it an awesome base for exploring the Cinque Terra. Don't discount Porto Venere as a destination it is very beautiful and should be included as the sixth Cinque Terre town. Giovanni, the owner of the unit, met us with a bottle of Proseccond made us feel very welcome.

It was smack between two restaurant/ bars Have me a small glass of wine ang started talking about getting15 0/0 ??? Never saw him or anyone else during the stay so had no way to make payment, left the key in the door and went The whole thing was very dodgy. Now I have to organize payment which I will do via credit card to book it. Com Giovani was the man who provided the key but who knows what his role in the operation was

Review 31：This is a bedroom and bathroom situated along the front at Portovenere between two restaurants You could step outside the door and get onto a boat for a lovely trip. .It was comfortable and quiet and the owner made us very welcome.

Take advantage of Giovanni, your host, as he's a wealth of local knowledge and knows everyone. Sorry we only could stay for two nights. A great hub for exploring the area! Clean and bright.
Review 42：There is a little bit of intermittent train noise because you are so close, but that is everywhere in the town. It stops at night, so it's really not a sleeping issue.

Review 45：Beautiful location, and the outlook from our window was stunning. A very relaxed atmosphere, and Giovanni was a character, and so friendly. Great selection of bars, and restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Delightful shops in the lane way too.

Review 47：On the waterfront. Balcony overlooking the docks and the comings and goings. Giovanni the host is a cool guy. Spoke English and went out of his way to please. He is well connected in this town and helped us pick the right restaurants. His entrance opens into the very secure little entry room and then to our secure room. It is also on the main alley for shops. He was trusting and we felt safe and secure but also had fun. Great value for the money. We got free cappuccino and sweets for breakfast on the wharf-side restaurant under our rooms window and great dinner at the place next to it. Also right under our window.

Review 56：Portovenere is absolutely beautiful and you couldn't beat the location of La Darsena. Can't compare this type of accommodation to a hotel but the room was newly remodeled, clean and provided the basic comforts. The proprietor was friendly, helpful and responsive to requests.

There was horrendously loudnoise coming from a neighboouring establishiment that kept us awakeuntil past mid night. I think this venue was intended for a younger,party minded crowd. The accommodation was extremely basic, notluxurious. I am not sure it was good value.
