Review 2：Staff were very helpful and friendly, and enabled us to move to a nicer room than on first two nights. Food (dinner particularly) WONDERFUL! We didn't use the bar much, but for those who wanted to make the most of every last free brandy, their wishes were evidently fulfilled.
Review 3：We have holidayed in Italy many times and this was the best authentic Italian stay we have had. Piccolo is a small,friendly, family run hotel and they aim to do their best to please their guests at all times and always with good humour. The hotel is nicely decorated and very clean. We stayed on a half board basis and the food was excellent, fresh and varied and the service personal and friendly. The food is as Italians would eat at home ie, anti pasti, pasta course, meat or fish, then dessert. Not for those wanting the likes of steak and chips or pizza, but for those of us who enjoy the Italian way of life and mediterranean diet, it was fantastic. We had a top floor room with views across the bay and on a very clear day views of the west coast of Italy and the tip of Corsica. The sun rises were spectacular.

Review 11：The Piccolo was well placed near the beach, just a few minutes away. Great views over the bay and very helpful and friendly staff. Great value for money. Beach is sandy and the town is small but pleasant. Lots of young families. The sea stays shallow so easy for children and swimming.

Review 14：The room was noisy and everything (but for the staff and cleanliness) was average. The bed, the breakfast, the location were not bad but not good either. It was not an exciting experience and overall, we found the price of our room to be very expensive compared to the comfort level.

Review 27：the location of the hotel is not ideal, and the rooms need some attention, we had 2 rooms, the beds not comfortable and even worse was the smell of one of the beds, it smelled of old dog and spilled booze, this is a budget hotel so unless you get a great rate and are looking to save a nickel,... then stay here, otherwise, you should not stay here

Review 33：With such a good breakfast, it was very disappointing to find easily the worst breakfast coffee and fruit juice of anywhere we have ever been in Italy over a good number of years. The hotel is fairly close to a railway line, though trains are infrequent. The access into and out of is quite an adventure! There are two steep slopes and three very sharp bends. It is, however, very secure!
Review 34：We liked the location at the end of the town with good views of the bay. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a very good breakfast, including, if one wished, a cooked breakfast (however, see negative comment). We did not eat a main meal in the hotel, but found several restaurants in the vicinity, including a very good fish one on the beach about a ten minute walk away.

Review 39：No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, & they could put pads on feet of chairs etc. in rooms as this was the only sound transmitted from surrounding rooms.These are only very small problems & did not spoil our stay at all.

Review 41：Piccolo Hotel is very nice, the rooms with the sea view are wonderful, the staff is friendly, breakfast is rather good. Also it was pleasant to swim in the swimming pool in the morning. The sea is situated in 5 minutes on foot. The most of beaches are paid, but in august it's difficult sometimes to find the place, because of large amount of tourists. In the centre of Diano Marina you can find a lot of shops and restaurants and on the seafront bars and gellaterias are opened till late. We liked Diano Marina and Piccolo hotel.
