Reviews for Hotel Le Grazie
Review 1:Wifi Internet was not available at times
Review 2:A good budget hotel in a quiet location but still close enough to access Portovenere and Cinque Terre areas. Excellent staff who were always willing to assist and overall very friendly. Highly recommend
Review 3:Is not actually located in Cinque Terre and is very confusing to find by bus. Wifi was sporadic and apartment was fairly dirty.
Review 4:Lovely small little town, good breakfast.
Review 5:Lovely staff! They where able to help us with all our questions during our stay. Easy to get to la spezia and cinque terre from the hotel by bus or car.
Review 6:Poor Wi-Fi. A bit expensive for what you get, but it was last minute booking in high season...
Review 7:Nice family owned hotel. Small but comfortable rooms with air-condition. Nice staff, good breakfast.
Review 8:The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. You can see it's family owned. I loved the fact that it was calm and the beach and restaurants were just around the corner.
Review 9:Wifi very sporadic.
Review 10:Staff were excellent and very helpful with information on walking in the Cinque Terre and where to purchase the bus tickets required for the return trips each day into Portovenere to catch the ferry for the Cinque Terre walks. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the town and the local cafes, in particular La Baia di Ria with the delicious farinata, pizzas and traditional home cooking.
Review 11:The Internet wifi was a little unreliable due to a freaky stormy conditions causing wifi problems in the hotel. Everything was great
Review 12:The staff were fantastic. The lady running the hotel is excellent. Really friendly and excellent to talk with about the area and just to chat to. The breakfast was great. The area is sensational being 5-10 minutes from Porto Venere. It is only a 30-40 minute drive to the bottom of the Cinque Terre towns but Porto Venere for me was much nicer than the 4 Cinque towns I went to. I ended up staying here 2 nights although I was only supposed to stay one.
Review 13:The town of Le Grazie was an ideal place to base our family to see the area. Wish we could have stayed longer. I would recommend it to folks who want to see Cinque Terre via boat ride from Porto Venere without paying a fortune for hotel. Parking is limited at the hotel but if they run out the staff is great about helping you find a place to park within a few blocks. Parking in Porto Venere on the other hand is a bit expensive and hard to find. Would take a bus from Le Grazie to Porto Venere if we were to do it again.
Review 14:Owner parked my car on illegal space but parking in Aug is almostimpossible anyway.hotel is not in portovenere and the bus you need to take (11) is crammed as hell + not regular at all. Hotel is in near 'le grazie' area. Breakfast is terrible with poor choice but you get the waiter to make you a fresh espresso or cappuccino. Attitude of who run the hotel is funny; man said 4 times he would help us with ferry to cinqueterre but never really helped; when asked for a diet coke, the woman (must be his sister or wife) told us that 'she did not like diet drinks as they are not proper drinks'; tell that to a diabetic my dear. on last day I asked her if she knew about some fireworks going on close by; she replied: 'I do not know anything as I am working';
Review 15:Nice little hotel with good sized rooms and very clean, loved thebalcony.hotel is in quite area. air conditioning was the best we had. loved going to portovenere..special place.
Review 16:When I asked about an earlier discussion with my friends, the receptionist lost her temper and started pointing the pen at me. This alone is neither friendly nor professional.
Review 17:From the photos i imagined the hotel infront of the sea but you had other buildings in front but still the location was fine as we were not spending the day anyway. They only had 3 car spaces which were taken so had to pay, but the worst part was the beds, we had a 3 bed room And the 3rd bed didnt have a matress, they put 3 little pillows on it And the metal bars dug into your ribs all night.
Review 18:Breakfast was in the Italian standards And was quite good.
Review 19:It is misleading to list this hotel as located in Portovenere. . . it is in a different village, lower on the hill, with very little near by. The hotel itself is quite cute and comfortable, but we thought we were booking in Portovenere, proper.
Review 20:This is a sweet hotel.
Review 21:Tiny rooms V noisy hearing rooms next door and above
Review 22:Air con Clean Friendly staff
Review 23:Friendly staff Perfect breakfast Near to PortoVenere
Review 24:Communication some what problematic.
Review 25:Staff friendliness and proximity to buss stop for connecting to Pontevenere
Review 26:Very nice hotel and staf.
Review 27:a very good location, helpful staff. 3 km away from porto venere which can be easily reached by bus, bus stop just meters away from hotel.
Review 28:We went to the hotel because of the promised car park. However there was not car parking available so we had to park away from the hotel.
Review 29:THE FRIENDLINESS OF PEOPLE & THE FOOD
Review 30:Very basic fasilities
Review 31:Location. Nice prople.
Review 32:old, outdated
Review 33:ok location
Review 34:no refrigerator is furnished
Review 35:confortable bed, clean bath room and balcony
Review 36:Nothing we didn't like.
Review 37:informal atmosphere Very helpful staff Lots going on - a good buzz Delightful setting near the magical main square.
Review 38:small rooms Employees smoking in the kitchen old bad breakfast
Review 39:quite cheap
Review 40:Bed was a little uncomfortable
Review 41:Staff were very friendly
Review 42:Off hand, unhelpful staff. Shower unsafe as could easily slip and no rails for safety. Worst breakfast we have ever had in many years of travelling. No choice, what little food there was was exposed to the elements and not refrigerated. Bed springs groaned on any movement.
Review 43:The room was very nice and cool.
Review 44:If you are going to see Cinque Terre this hotel is NOT an embarkation place for the boats. The closest tour start is several kilometers away in Portonevere and you have to find parking there which can be a challenge
Review 45:Seems to be a family run business. The staff helpful and courteous. Quiet fishing village. In house restaurant was good food at reasonable prices. A good place to relax for a day if that is what you are seeking
Review 46:There was nothing I did not like.
Review 47:The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast offering was excellent. The staff were I liked the staff and location very much. and look forward to going back again.
Review 48:Towels were dirty. Brown stains on them. When we arrived with our children, there were no toiletries in the bath room. Makes a bad impression when you have to go ask the front desk for toilet paper….. and the staff member has to get it from other rooms because they do not know where it is located.
Review 49:Really good staff that is available for help and advice. Good Breakfast.
Review 50:Wifi not in room, only in lobby. Bed quite hard. Parking only 3 places. We were lucky, but otherwise paid public parking.
Review 51:Free wifi. Staff helpful. Breakfast continental, ok.
Review 52:Ruined tiles on terace, filthy walls, no minibar, ruined windows, poorand cheap breakfast, internet not working...enough?
Review 53:Nothing, of you want I can send you pictures of hotel.
Review 54:The hotel was located in a really nice village, very close to the sea for a swim. There was a supermarket close to buy water and snacks. The hotel room was clean, ok size with double bed and extra bed in the room. Breakfast was good, coffee, tea, croissants, cereals etc. There was also possibility to have a dinner in the hotel. Wifi was ok in the rooms. They promice you a room with air-conditioning they really did not have (there are in total four rooms with no air-conditioning in the hotel, rest of the rooms have it), but after I said that the child cannot sleep without one, they changed the room and then it was ok. It worked quietly and we could have it on all night. And the view from the room to the mountains - splended! Parking is difficult as they have maybe two parking spaces for the hotel, otherwise you have to pay. But again, they moved their own car so that we could park with no fines or extra cost right in front of the hotel. So the staffs was very nice and friendly. Considering where the place is, the staffs was excellent in english even if it was very simple and basic.
Review 55:Our room had a broken toilet and they try to negligate it at first. Luckily the lady who came to work in the evening shift solved the problem direct and gave us a new room.
Review 56:The hotel was nice and it was placed in a small little town. The small harbour had a beach where you could swim. It was easy and cheep to go by bus to other places near, for example Portovenere and Cinque Terre (+train). The breakfast was medium good but the coffe was very good instead. The Lady in the reception was marvelous. She understood the visitors needs. She also helped with information bout the region.
Review 57:La Grazie is a litlle town just around the corner of the much more tourism centered Portovenere. The town itself is very nice, with a harbor and litlle boulevard to take a stroll. The hotelpersonel was very friendly and able to help us get around easily and quickly. The included breakfast was simple, with good fresh coffee.
Review 58:best hotel

Review 60:bad mattrass
Review 61:good location good staff strong internet connection
Review 62:The room was very damp and the bed had bugs. We could not sleep all night. There wasnt enough parking place either.
Review 63:Breakfast was good.
