Review 1：The room was the smallest we'd had; a double bed and little to no room to maneuver, when considering we had two pieces of luggage. The staff speaks very little English, but for us, that wasn't a problem since one of our party spoke Japanese. But again, the service was so great, we felt that it more than compensated for these minor inconveniences.
Review 2：The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to provide assistance or answer any questions we had. When we asked if our room had a view, they were honest and said no, apologizing that such a room wasn't available. But then a supervisor (?) told the staff person that they could accommodate our request. Now, although the view wasn't really that fabulous, the fact it was on the 10th floor allowed us to look over the neighborhood. The previous room, which would've had us in a 3rd floor room, would have had us looking at a wall! The breakfast was fantastic; lots of offerings. They gave us great suggestions on tours, restaurants, etc. I just felt the staff went out of their way to give us outstanding service and, when compared with the many other hotels we stayed in, the staff her was among the best. The hotel is just a block away from a busy street filled with restaurant, shops, etc., and is really close to a river along which you can walk or jog. And it was CLEAN!!!
