Reviews for Boulevard Motel

Review 1:My wife and I stayed in the Boulevard for 2 nights, celebrating our wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were treated to a 10 minute moan by the manager because we had booked online through Booking.com. Apparently, he has to pay 15% of the room price for the privilege. If we had not booked online, we would not even have been aware of this motel, so he would have had an empty room. If he has a complaint then he needs to deal with it in another way from lecturing customers.

Review 2:The room was fine, although a little small. There was supposed to be a King bed but it was a Queen. Probably a good thing as there would have been no room to move at all. There was also supposed to be a DVD player, but I never saw it. Finally, apart from a closet with no drawers, there was nowhere to put our clothes. Overall we were satisfied with the room but it could have been better.

Review 3:Such a friendly, welcoming motel and super, super clean. Within easy walking distance of the town centre (only 200m away) and we even walked from teh Showground one day. Love this place - good old fashioned service.

Review 4:The units are older style, but have a very pretty view over the river, bordering parkland - no fences! The managers were very obliging and friendly, brekki was served hot and delicious.

Review 5:This motel is very conveniently located near the Crisp's coach stop since we arrived from Brisbane airport by coach. The motel manager was friendly and helpful. The room, although a basic country motel had everything we needed - tea, coffee, toaster (I do like hot toast), good quality towels and comfy beds

Review 6:Perfect location with great walks along the river behind the motel. The little touches of cookies, fresh milk, having a microwave and toaster along with table and chairs made it a comfortable stay. Older rooms but spotlessly kept.

Review 7:Noisy AC.

Review 8:Friendly helpful manager. Quiet. Small but clean unit. Walking distance for a wonderful Pub meal or Pizza. Great hot shower. Bath sheets!!! Fresh milk.

Review 9:There was a slightly musky smell upon first entering the room.

Review 10:Gary, who was working there while the owners were away, was really friendly with an excellent manor. The main highlight was the comfort of the bed which was excellent and unexpected given the room rate.

Review 11:There was nothing to dislike

Review 12:The friendliness of the owners was just lovely. They both were so helpful and we loved our chats together. We will stay again

Review 13:Only thing lacking was a heater in the bathroom.

Review 14:Lovely hosts, excellent room with quality fitout & furnishings. Everything you could need, including undercover parking. Host opened up room & turned on air con, so the room warmed up quickly while I parked the car, much appreciated on a night when snow was predicted. Hosts very pleasant and helpful, nice to find outstanding customer service! I will definitely stay again!!

Review 15:It was very clean, nice clean bathroom, and had a nice comfy bed. It was Close to everything in town. It had free wifi and I would recommend it to anyone.

Review 16:Not a complaint by any means, but the box aircon, although a newer model, was a little noisy, although did not interfere with the sleep.

Review 17:We found the deluxe queen room (15) that we were given was very nice. It was very clean and provided what we needed. There were even two (yes 2) lounge chairs for us to relax in, not the normal 1. Dining table and chairs also. Breakfast was lovely, and provided on time and with a smile. As i use a CPAP machine it was also nice to be able to plug into a power board. All in all excellent

Review 18:Air con very noisy had to switch off to sleep, mildew in bathroom, no extraction fan or heater in bathroom, no bath mat, shower floor very slippery when wet and soapy.

Review 19:The TV

Review 20:The room was very compact and the bathroom was even more compact. The dooner was too warm and too heavy and the one blanket was not enoght on it's own. We could have used the airconditioner though.

Review 21:The location was very close to the shopping centre. No problem with noise.

Review 22:Shower dripped, Pillow too soft to high with two. Hard to fill jug. Noise outside nbathroom (hot water heater I think). No electric blanket. TV very small other places we have stayed screen much larger for similar cost.

Review 23:Because my unit was on the end, the parking spot was a little awkward to get in and out of.

Review 24:A comfortable, value for money place to stay. Unlike some places I have been, the free Wi-Fi worked and worked well.

Review 25:There was nothing we could find to complain about.

Review 26:Position being at end of town is excellent as we walked every where. The bed was most comfortable, breakfast delivered on time.Linley and Alison very friendly warm hosts.will stay again..

Review 27:Older style air conditioner was noisy. Room closer to 15 sq m than 25 sq m advertised so would be rather closed in with smallish window for a longer than overnight stay.

Review 28:Pleasant welcome an offer of local information. Easy walk to various eating options in town. Clean fresh room with duvet on comfortable bed. Car park opened to parkland and creek walking path.

Review 29:His wife was not. The room was very basic. The bed was not particularly comfortable, the pillows in particular were very uncomfortable. Most motels have fox To - this did not and it had a tiny To on a swivel stand from the roof. The shower was basic and had a broken sliding door. It was ordinary.

Review 30:The host was very friendly and amenable.

Review 31:We thought the bathroom was very small. when you opened the sliding door you were right on the toilet which faced the front door. when you were on the toilet with the door shut your knees were almost touching the door. and you could see that behind the door hadn,t been swept for a while also the tiles needed a good scrub. don,t know how a bigger person would manage.

Review 32:bed was comfortable and the fellow delivering breafast in the morning was very friendly

Review 33:Location was within easy walking distance to restaurants. Staff (relief at the time we stayed) were excellent. Very helpful and we had a lovely breakfast.

Review 34:It's easily accessible to shops and restaurants. I like the parking where it's just outside your room. The staff is friendly and approachable when we need help. Even the cleaning staff is equally friendly. I have an excellent view of the creek which is just outside the room.

Review 35:Beds a little soft and on an angle Room quite small, but comfortable

Review 36:Friendly Staff - very accommodating Great location Great value for money Very clean Lovely hotel dog :) Great view of park and waterway Quiet location Have stayed here before and will stay here again

Review 37:No bench space for toiletries in bathroom

Review 38:Great welcome by owner. Location was close to town - walking distance to main shopping precinct. Compact room, very clean, nice bed and crisp white sheets! Fair room rate.

Review 39:Nothing

Review 40:The location, walk into town, close to shops, Resturants , information shop. Next to the river. The service is excellent. The room very clean and comfortable .

Review 41:The room was a little small and probably not enough cupboard space etc if staying longer than a couple of nights.

Review 42:The motel room was exactly what we needed after a long drive from Sydney. We booked online and weren't disappointed. The motel was in a good location, 5 mins walk from shops and restaurants. The motel grounds looked well maintained. The staff were helpful and more important our motel room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for an overnight stay.

Review 43:Microwave provided but no plates to use in it. A very minor beef I know, but when traveling by bike you don't have room for a lot of gear.

Review 44:Friendly helpful hosts. Located within walking distance of shops, parks, food, etc. Quiet rooms. Clean and tidy. Hope to stay there again soon.

Review 45:Perhaps some herbal teabags in room as an option to caffeinated black tea, and gluten free bread as an option for breakfast.

Review 46:We stayed for a weekend as we needed to be in town for a function but we'd gladly stay again if considering food and wine trail weekend as well. We booked the Deluxe Room which was well worth the few dollars more. It was large and well light, nice outlook and very clean. Close to all shops in town to and the visitor information centre. Had all amenities you'd want including a microwave and a bathroom big enough that two could be in there at once. Small dining table was nice so our breakfast we ordered, which was so worth it, was easily enjoyed rather than eating off a coffee table like usual. I'm glad we decided to order it the night before and saved ourselves the bother or finding breakfast in the morning, it was good. The breakfast came on warmed plates, eye bacon (not that fatty stuff) and eggs cooked just as requested and Plunger coffee was a terrific treat for a motel offering at breakfast. It also has two tub chairs so you don't need to sit on the bed all the time. Nice size TV too. It smelt fresh and is finished in a nice country style homely way without being stuffy at all. Managers are helpful and can answer any questions you may have. We'd stay there again.

Review 47:My only minor issue is that the bed was maybe a little too soft as I tended to role into the centre with my partner in the same bed. Very minor issue. I would have also liked a larger serve of milk for the fridge as we are big coffee drinkers and the small jug only served two coffees for us. We were travelling with long life milk so used our supply for additional coffees. For an overnight stay arriving at approx 3:30pm my husband and I would drink up to 3 coffees in that evening plus an early morning cuppa before departing.

Review 48:Its location next to the park and its waterway. Relaxing. Opportunity to stretch the legs and check out the local wildlife. Also good to be able to walk to the local restaurants and hotel. Manager was very pleasant. Everything was clean and comfortable. I can o nay speak for my husband and I but I understand that our fellow travellers were also pleased with their accommodations.

Review 49:Room was a bit small but was fine for an overnight stay.

Review 50:Beautiful view from the room overlooking the creek and parkland. Easy access to go walking, close to everything.

Review 51:The motel was good value for money. It is reasonably basic but well furnished, extremely clean and most importantly because of the cold weather, very cosy and warm. Each room appears to have a double and single bed. Wifi was good. Breakfast was optional. Tea and coffee are available in the unit, plus there was also a toaster. The owners were very obliging and helpful. The outlook over the river was a nice bonus.

Review 52:Noise from old air con.

Review 53:Very nice location down by the river and park, room was clean and comfortable, friendly welcome by manager who advise the use of electric blanket as previous night temperature was down to minus 7, proved to not be needed due to extra blankets available. breakfast delivered to room was excellent and good value for the money. Will use again if we ever get back to Stanthorpe.

Review 54:Couldn't find the Wifi login information.

Review 55:Wonderful friendly and very helpful owners. Very clean comfortable and spacious rooms. Will defiantly use again.

Review 56:Nothing. Would have liked to see some snow, but that had nothing to do with the motel.
