Just 350 feet from the harbor, Residenza Mordini is set near the sea on Maddalena Island. It has elegant rooms in a building constructed in 1930. You can reach the island of Caprera by car or public transportation via a bridge.
Residenza Mordini is also near beaches and the seaside promenade. Horseback riding, cycling and diving are all available in the area.
The rooms are spacious and have an LCD TV with satellite channels. Most feature antique furnishings from the 18th century. Breakfast is continental or American style.

Review 1：The breakfast was just normal, not so great.

Review 2：Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was excellent, a very short walk from the center of La Maddalena, on a bit more peaceful side street - only minus being that the supermarket is right under the room window.

Great location, decoration, comfort, facilities (free parking, good wifi...), really good breakfast and staff very dedicated to listen, to help with everything we needed and to give good tips about what to do in the Islands. Our room was really beautiful and comfortable. It is by far one of the best hotels we have stayed in our lives!

Review 5：The suite is located far from the reception and it was not convenient. A/C and safe were not working well and they repaired it after our arrival. The room is small for a family.

Review 7：It was delightful and full of unexpected details, like a complementary snack served in our room on arrival. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, tuning in to our interests immediately and offering useful and interesting information. The hotel has a rich family tradition and this is reflected in the photos on the walls.

Review 9：This was our fourth visit to La Maddalena and definitely the best hotel we've stayed in on Maddalena. Friendly staff, lovely room, very good breakfast and excellent location.

Review 10：We stayed here for two days. Such personal service - the lady that runs this place is so friendly, lent us a parasol for the beach, recommendations of restaurants to go to etc. it is a family-run place which you can really appreciate from the pics on the walls. The facilities are great, it's clearly recently been revamped, it has great bathrooms - rain showers, hair dryers, lotions and potions provided. Of all the places we stayed in Sardinia, this was the only place with wifi in the bedrooms (not just the reception area) which is great. It's close to all the sights of Madelena town and I would recommend this to all travellers, young and old!

Review 11：What a great hotel! Probably the most genuinely hospitable staff that we've ever encountered. Everyone made us and our 3-year old son feel very welcome. Excellent location near the city centre with a big supermarket nearby as an added bonus. The room was clean, light and spacious with a good Wifi and AC. Great place to stay on a family holiday!

Review 12：It was like staying in a beautiful home with a lovely family. The position was central and close to everything, and the island was spectacular, especially hiring a rubber dinghy and going to the natural reserve islands. The sea was pristine and the aqua beaches so inviting.

Review 13：Two things. When you clean a guests room you dont put their filthy cloths back in their suitcases with clean cloth. You dont move their computers and speakers in to the closet. Total loss of privacy when the staff mix all your things in the bathroom. A "happy birthday" to my girlfriend on her 30:th birthday would have been nice since you knew she celebrating.

Review 44：It is one of the best hotels I have visited. The hotel is located on a quiet street, no noise, less than 5 minutes from downtown, so the location is perfect. The hotel has a lovely design. The owner is a lovely person, always attentive to every detail. He is also a close person, you can address to him to ask any questions about the island. 100% recommended. I will repeat, no doubt.

Review 45：Super friendly staff with a good knowledge of English a great breakfast comfy massive bed luxurious bathroom. There's a spa that's attached but you pay sep for use of it. A lovely gem of a boutique hotel. Nice touches everywhere , nicely thought out. Close to the little town so perfect for everything.It overlooks the supermarket but the soundproofing is perfect and that doesn't matter.

Review 46：Friendly family run operation, they helped us with our bags as soon as we arrived and gave us a great honeymoon welcome with a bottle of champagne and snacks which was much appreciated.

We had a balcony and were very happy to sit outside and watch the life next to the harbour from it. Great refurbished room with prefect bathroom.
