Set against the majestic backdrop of the Hintertux Glacier, the tastefully furnished, family-run Hotel Jäger offers a quiet and sunny location in the center of Tux in the Ziller Valley.
Hotel Jäger serves excellent local and international cuisine, as well as select wines, in its restaurant. A rich breakfast buffet is served in the morning. Various themed buffets are offered regularly.
The spa area consists of 6 different saunas, a herbal steam bath, a brine bath, a room with water beds, an ice fountain, a gym and a solarium.
For children a varied program of activities, including canyoning, climbing, cave adventures, glacier days with fun in the snow, campfires, tennis classes and much more, is offered.
Hotel Jäger offers a weekly guided hike with the owner in summer and a ski guide on one day a week in winter, as well as reduced prices for the ski rental. Ski passes are available at the hotel.

Review 1：The owners are very nice; the sauna area is terrific - far better than you might expect for a 3 star hotel - several saunas (at least 6 ordinary saunas), two steam rooms, two infra red saunas, a swimming pool, several relaxation areas - extraordinary. The breakfast was good, the evening meal was very good - we were there for 10 days. Overall - super!

Review 2：We had nice appartment, odler furniture but everything very clean and nice. Beds comfortable, good matress, also pillow and blankets. They dont save money and everything is very good quality. Nice people allways ready to help. I recommend to pay extra 15e for dinner which includes appetizer, salad from buffet, main course and dessert, everything delicious. Than SPA is just awesome, has two parts: - swimming pool with saunas and steam, planty place to relax, open All day - naked area with 4 kinds of saunas (finish, aroma, bio, infrared) and steam, also bubble bath for feets. Plenty of place to relax, also waterbeds, brand new, beautiful design, everything nice materials (natural wood, stones etc.), than 6 types of showers warm and cold, also braked ice. Water and juice bar for free. Ask for bathrobe at reception (5Eur extra, but worth it). We were very satisfied :)) These people definitely know how to run hotel bussines and they do very well.

Review 19：Hotel location is excellent, the hotel is 70m from skibuss, way to the ski slope is about 15 minutes by buss (6km) The staff is very helpful and nice. The food was excellent, dinner and salad bar was delicious. Very nice and new spa.

Review 20：Lamp on a balcony was not working in the evening. Hotel is located on a steep hill, so it is not that easy to access it with a car. Also it has a small garage/parking area. It's hard to park with bigger car.

Review 21：Nice staff, good breakfast, room looked very good. We stayed in house nr. 3; it just have been renovated and looks very good and clean. Close to mountains, good for hiking in summer and skiing in winter. Perfect location to go to Hintertux or Mayerhofen (bus connection).

Review 24：Hotel Jager is a lovely mid range hotel conveniently located near anumber of ski resorts on the mountain. The accomodations werecomfortable and the meals were excellent. Great value for money.
