Review 1：Maria Rosa was absolutely delightful! A charming hostess who greets you with a steaming cappuccino and a smile. Like staying with a friend. The building was so interesting built in 1300 but remodeled with 21st century comfort and lovely decoration!
Review 2：Parking is a challenge because the restaurant is very popular, and the patrons take all the spots. Farther from the train to Florence than we expected. It's a 2.8 km drive to the stazione but parking there is free and the trip is short. Wi-fi is sketchy but overall OK.
Review 3：Ulivo Rosso is the textbook definition of a charming Italian albergo - built in 1300 and immaculately maintained and renovated. Maria Rosa was the perfect hostess, went out of her way to accommodate our needs (bicycles, wine storage). Exceeded expectations.
Review 4：The owner Mariarosa is fantastic. Very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. She keeps her rooms spotlessly clean and the the beds are so comfortable, we had the best nights sleep - even though I was suffering with an extremely painful trapped nerve in my back. Decorated in a rustic Tuscan style with views of mount Morello I would highly recommend it. The restaurant is very good offering many beautiful pasta dishes, and I believe the pizza is excellent. No English menus only Italian. The waiters are very helpful if you need help translating. Fairly priced for the quality of food. Booking it seems is essential but worth it in my opinion. We loved it so much we are already planning our next trip. Wifi is intermittent due to the geography (I have friends who live 2 minutes up the hill and it's always been that way) I like that though, it stopped my partner checking his work emails every two minutes! We will return!
