Reviews for Albergo Ristorante Paradiso
Review 1:. Nothing!
Review 2:Spacious room.Comfortable bed with good linens. Openable window onto fantastic view. Small but perfectly formed bathroom. Lots of hot water. Great breakfast buffet. Excellent restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff
Review 3:Paradiso was amazing -- the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fabulous. The view from our room was spectacular. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly (and funny). Breakfast was much better appointed than expected and really delicious.
Review 4:It was a very noisy hotel, we could hear water running down pipes and noise from other areas.
Review 5:I loved the size of the room and the view we had even from the bottom floor. Breakfast was great and always plenty there.
Review 6:Absoluting nothing. Everything was perfect
Review 7:The friendly staff. You need to go and meet our new friend Luigi... He is the best. Everyone very helpful. The view is to die for.
Review 8:Staff had limited fluency in English. Communicating directly with the hotel was difficult. Hotel was not staffed full-time so entry had to be arranged.
Review 9:Clean, comfortable room in a good location for meeting a cruise ship.
Review 10:Room rather small; service patchy at breakfast and indifferent in the bar (sometimes slow, tables not cleared promptly); for tea you need boiling (not just hot) water; relatively limited breakfast buffet considering the cost.
Review 11:View of sea and island; clean white bed linen; availability of hotel minibus;friendly receptionist; location quiet but very near town; comfortable bed; view from breakfast room.
Review 12:Stefano and his sister Desire were absolutely wonderful hosts. Everything about staying at this hotel was great. Luigi was very entertaining, Alex worked hard and Tonya prepared awesome meals. I hope to go back some day.
Review 13:It was all pretty great, would recommend. A little pricey as our room was quite Spartan, but last minute in August you can't expect much else in the area.
Review 14:Great location, excellent breakfast, drinks and good staff.
Review 15:This place was a little gem. I loved the location (two minute walk to the heart of Porto Venere) so it felt quieter. The staff were lovely and helpful and the room was always so clean. The views while having breakfast were its highlight. Great location to travel to The Cinque Terre from also. Would definitely stay here again.
Review 16:Nothing, only good to say for this hotel
Review 17:Very friendly and helpful staff, delicious food in restaurent. Beatiful view from terrasse. Free parking i garage offered (otherwise 2 euro pr. hour in public areas!)
Review 18:The room we were in was at the bottom of the hotel by the water and there was a damp smell in the room, but this is probably no problem in other rooms higher up in the hotel. The floor in the bedroom was sticky, should have been cleaned properly... we had to use our flip flops to walk around the bedroom:)
Review 19:This is an ok Hotel, with a very nice view from the breakfast table.
Review 20:Parking poor and the noisy sex occurring during the night for 2 nights. Not the hotels fault of course!!
Review 21:Views and rooms were great! Staff very nice and breakfast very nice. Loved the hotel and the town!
Review 22:I hate being on a road carrying above average traffic but to be honest it was not a problem as rooms well sound proofed.
Review 23:The location was to a quitter part of the town on the water effectively. Less than 5 mins walk to ferry to the 5 villages. . The guy who greeted us was great. We had a triple room but it was divided so I effectively had a space of my own- it wasn't just a double bed next to a single bed. Some rooms will invariably back onto the main road but the sound proofing is good as is the air con. I think every room would get a water view. There was a great restaurant just in front that did great mixed fried fish. The fussy would say this place is a bit dated but it was good for us and I left feeling I got value for money and a feel for the town without being in the dead centre. Go for a swim off the rocks by the church in the open ocean or just go sit there for sunset- it was very cool and only 5-10 mins walk- you will see what I mean when you get there. Congrats to the hotel staff- we were satisfied and enjoyed our stay.
Review 24:close to restaurants, etc.

Review 48:Great location, nice and clean plenty of room, good breakfast,
Review 49:Resto was close for a day
Review 50:The view except there was the roof blocking it.
Review 51:More pictures and the hotel is pretty clean and new Eyes and mouth makes happy place to eat breakfast is I am satisfied with everything
Review 52:Nothing not too like there.
Review 53:Location, large room, good facilities and breakfast. Portovenere is such an oasis of peace compared with Cinque Terre overrun by tourists. A great spot from which to explore Cinque Terre.
Review 54:Could use a bit of an update and our room didnt have much natural lightwith only one smaller window.
Review 55:Porto Venere was awesome, we loved being there. The Paradiso was decentand the staff were friendly enough when we needed anything.
Review 56:no parking spaces- parking in public expensive, very small room
Review 57:Very clean, great view on the bay and harbour, nice little town with shops selling local specialities, aircon working well, swimming great but no beach
Review 58:Our room was on level -2 , we had to squeeze past the laundry to get to it. There was a tree right infront of our window so this was the only view. TV did not work, someone came and had a look but couldn't do anything. Some staff friendly but there were some others that we felt we were a nuisance to them
Review 59:The location of the hotel was great and the breakfast and breakfast room were very pleasant.
Review 60:The room was powerty-stricken, small ant not clean tolerable. Breakfastvery simple. The elevator was out of order. The price of car parking washorrible hight (30 euro/night) in the parking garage. This hotel isworth 60 euro /night instead of 180 euro. I don't suggest thishotel nobody else!
Review 61:Location, nice view. No more!
Review 62:The location was excellent with a wonderful view over the bay. The staffwere friendly and helpful which made for an excellent stopover to visitthe Cinque Terre villages.
Review 63:We were delighted with the Paradiso. Our room was spacious &comfortable. We might have preferred a queen/king size bed, but the fullsize bed was comfortable and very adequate.Breakfast was awesome! We were treated to anything and everything--including fresh squeezed orange juice. Delicious and abundant--great for hikers! Staff was helpful and accommodating. We were thankful for the staff's English proficiency, and charmed by their friendly, accommodating manner, The hotel's location was perfect--close to town, but just a little removed from the hub bub and noise. After hiking all day, we chose to eat at the hotel. What a treat! Good prices, food and excellent service.
Review 64:The room was small which makes it difficult to store two suitcases and move around easily.
Review 65:Welcoming staff, good breakfast, great views and location was alright.
Review 66:Qualche difficoltà di parcheggio, anche perché siamo arrivati la domenica pomeriggio e c'erano molti turisti "di giornata". La sera siamo comunque riusciti a spostare l'auto praticamente davanti all'hotel.
Review 68:Great location by the beach walk, yet slightly removed from the restaurant scene so that it was quiet in the evenings. Our room had a wonderful view of the sea with windows we could throw open for a fresh breeze. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and offered eggs cooked to order besides traditional breads, cereal & yogurt. Room was spacious & immaculate.
Review 69:The situation of this hotel was fantastic with beautiful views of the sea, marina and surroundings. The location was perfect and breakfast was substantial.
Review 70:Not a thing, all good.
Review 71:From the time we arrived, welcomed beautifully by reception. They were most helpful with any infer we needed to familiarise ourselves with our new surroundings. Position was fabulous, views of the port from our room fabulous. Breakfast tremendous and generous and the best pillows in our four weeks travels.
Review 72:Close to beach and town great area people at hotel very helpful
Review 73:WiFi was almost nonexistent. Hotel restaurant was closed on Thurs.
Review 74:Location is great!
Review 75:Selected sea view - posibilities offered: ground floor room with hidden view or third floor room with no direct sea view.
Review 76:Luigi in the dining room-wonderful. Stefilo at reception is outstanding. Both are ideally suited to the hospitality business.
Review 77:Nothing!
Review 78:Very relaxing, in a great location! Easy access to boat for seeing the Cinque Terre. Great restaurants and shopping!
Review 79:The room was a bit too small for the cost involved.
Review 80:The view from the bedroom was outstanding. The restaurant also provided very good food.
