Review 2：Very warm welcome. Beautiful surroundings. Well kept gardens. Staff excellent. Food excellent. Cleanliness very very good, bathrooms and bedrooms very spacious. Loved this hotel.

Review 8：Everything! The welcome by reception was warm , sincere, and professional, and from the on the whole 2 days, dinners and bar, pool service exceptional. We enjoyed every special moment .

Review 9：The mini van from the hotel that shuttles guests back and forth can only hold 8 or 9 people. We were in Florence and had to wait another hour to get the next van as the 7pm one was full - for the price that you pay the driver should have called immediately - the hotel should have had a 2nd van to send down right away as there were 6 of us waiting.

Review 11：Other than breakfast,the food was unexceptional and very, very expensive. The Loggia bar has very low seats and tiny tables which make eating there less expensively, rather uncomfortable. The pianist's dominance ( and this goes on until very late at night) impedes conversation and any sense of peace.The pool is quite a walk from the main building up steep uneven steps and the surface was covered with biting insects - a few mosquito coils may help up there! It would also be a real bonus if the shuttle bus offered a service from Florence after 8pm. The footpath to Fiesole was very poorly maintained at the hotel level - well worth the struggle though!

Review 12：The staff were, without exception, charming, discreet in their attentiveness, efficient and, best of all, good fun! The building,gardens,rooms,service,facilities and peace( in the daytime) were all wonderful. The regular reliable free shuttle bus to and from Florence is essential if the city is why you're there.Breakfasts are superb in every way.

Review 13：mosquitoes in our room biting us all night long, faulty AC unit in our room, flickering flourescent light, that even in the off position, was flickering all through the night keeping us up, the multitude of children on the property some of whom were unruly in the pool area disturbing what we expected would be a largely adult and quiet peaceful resort

Review 33：The location is magnificent especially the garden and the flowers. The staff is ready to serve for any need of the guest. The athmosphere is like the good old days , some noble man - that is how you are treated. The breakfast is abundant, a large variety of servingy with good flavours. The view of the city is extraordinary. The dinner was OK, white wines are not so fresh and sparking to my taste, little bit dull and oak barell flavour can be noticed. The soup was ordinary, the fresh pasta with spices were exciting.

Review 34：It is very expensive and, for the price of the room, we would expect a bath, not just a shower and, small point though it is, a turn down service. Also, the restaurant is of high quality but not Michelin-starred quality and as such, is overpriced for what it serves. You can eat a 6/8 course taster menu in some of the finest restaurants in the world for the price of a 2/3 course a la carte menu here.

Review 35：A beautiful location, wonderful, terraced gardens and very attentive, charming staff. Very tranquil, so lovely to come away from busy sightseeing in Florence and still enjoy the view of it from this special place.
