Located in the ski resort of Bardonecchia, Residence Cianfuran offers newly built chalets located 2.2 miles from the slopes on Mount Jafferau. It provides a free shuttle to the town centre, and the staff can arrange ski passes.
The Cianfuran Residence features alpine-style accommodation, with original stone walls and wood furniture. All apartments come with a balcony, and a fully equipped kitchenette.
Guests have direct access from the residence to the Cianfuran Restaurant and Pizzeria. The staff can also book guided tours, excursions, and ski and snowboard lessons.

Review 1：Federica was an amazing help and the hotel staff could not do enough for you..above and beyond anything we've experienced anywhere else. The rooms were beautiful and the location second to none.. and the food!! Exceptional. Would recommend highly and we will be back!

Review 2：The location is bit far from the bardonecchia station. But you can call the reception staff to arrange a free shuttle bus to pick you up. Wifi could be improved in the future

Review 3：The staff is really friendly and helpful. The resident room and the furnitures are quite new. The lovely kitchen is really tide and clean. I skied for 3 days. And the friendly staff drove me to skiing filed 9 o'clock in the morning and picked me up 5 o'clock afternoon everyday. Which was really a nice experience for me.

Review 33：If you want to get way from the crowded slopes this is the place to stay. With a great mountain view from the balcony and the family run restaurant. Order your food and wine and take it upstairs to eat if you don't want to cook in their self catering apartments. Even the locals come up here some times to enjoy the environment. We had a car so we just drove up to the end of the road and you are half way up one of the ski slopes. This slope is away from the main three slopes in Campo Smith, away from the town and shops so there are less people. It is also higher, so the snow is nicer. We clocked up some fast, near 60mph, runs in these slopes because it was so smooth and quite. Been here twice in a season.

Review 36：The internet in room did not work well. Missing a common area where we could hang around after dinner. The reception is closed most of the evenings. The hotel is located 4 kms away from the center, which might be an issue if you don't have car. But the hotel has a shuttle bus in certain hours

Review 37：We spent 6 nights there with our 3 children. We enjoyed the space of the family room, the views, the quietness, the reception staff. We had several dinners at the hotel restaurant and we were very pleased.

Review 38：Firstly, I have to be honest. Our apartment was supposed to be a two bedroom but on arrival we were told there are two types of 6 person apmts, this is not clear in the hotel description - ours happened to be the one with studio set up, all beds in one room. I complained and was told we could move to the other apmt in 3 days, it was a let down and dampened the first part of our holiday I have to say. Poor shuttle service! You have to book it a day in advance, not great when you are half way up a mountain and totally dependant on it! This service needs to be improved so the bus is at your convenience just like other ski resorts provide. One morning our names weren't on the shuttle driver's list so we had to wait for another one to be arranged. If you decide to not ski all day and you don't want to wait until 5pm for the shuttle collection then you are pretty much stuck at Campo Smith because if you don't want to pay 40 euro for a taxi the walk to town is about 15-20 minutes. Shops shut from 12.30 to 4pm so there is not much to do around that area. Quite stressful in the evening also, when we had to cram 13 people in a 8 seater mini bus! H&S out the window!! Beware I paid 938 euros for a 6 person apartment when it has a standard week tariff listed on the front door of the apartment for 740 euros. I asked why I was paying 200 euros OTT and was told it was because I booked through Booking.com! Not impressed!! Internet service - Wi-fi is practically non existent.

Review 45：We stayed for one night only, our children are 7,10 and 16. The staff was friendly and the rooms very spacious and the kitchen was really well equipped. The restaurant is great value for money and frequented by locals as well. Food was beautyful too. They went out of their way to give us breakfast before opening hours when asked. Highly recommend!

Review 48：This property is really in the middle of nowhere and is 4km up a small mountain road from Bardonecchia. It is isolated and a car is really necessary but driving not for the faint hearted! It is not close to the Jafferau Hotel which is shares facilities, this is a further 3 km up the mountain. Cooking facilities are limited.

Review 49：Lovely comfortable room with excellent views. Friendly staff. Great restaurant/pizzeria on site with good value menu, although not in English! A shuttle bus service is provided and the driver was very friendly and on time but you are completely reliant on him if you don't have a car.

Review 50：A bit far from Bardonecchia - I guess it would be a bit hard to find late at night if you visit it for the first time. There is no breakfast included (but this was clear from the start).

Review 51：Very good rooms, good restaurant nearby. Internet (WLAN) works ok. Bathroom highclass. We came to late to use a small balcony. The parking spaces are the most professional I have ever seen. A nice little kitchen was included (but as we only slept there for one night we did not use it).

The residence is a little out of bardonecchia(too far to walk) but if you are keen to get a full days skiing in don'tworry as they offer a good shuttle bus service, just be sure to ask atreception the day before to book it (as there a limited spaces). Theroom was spacious and very clean with a well equipped kitchenette. Allin all I would highly recommend cianfiuran as a place to stay, just makesure you organise the shuttle buses if you want to ski!
