Reviews for Camping Village Panoramico Fiesole
Review 1:as it is located at the top of a hill, you have to climb a mountain to reach it. it is a really long way
Review 2:it is at the top of a hill, so that you are able to see a fantastic view
Review 3:The caravan next door seamed to be let on an hourly basis, as a knocking shop. a couple arrived made a lot of very loud noise (which would have been embarrassing if we had been with children) then left two hours later.
Review 4:the location was lovely with stunning views.
Review 5:The bed in mobile home is really small for two adult. No facilities for making tea/coffee at mobile homes!!
Review 6:The location is very nice in terms of view and it is not far from Firenze. The speed limit on hilly roads to camping site is 40 km/h but italians driving with at least 70 km/h speed!
Review 7:On the first day the hike up the hill was very daunting from the bus stop to the camp site. The last bus up there was 7:30pm otherwise you had to trek so no late nights were possible. We didnt try to walk but it looked like a good 40 mins uphill if you missed the bus. The mobile home was also very cramped.
Review 8:Loved the location. Florence was very accessible from camp in Fiesole and the views were amazing from up there. We arrived on a Sunday and met a local town garage sale in the center plaza in Fiesole. Got some great deals there.
Review 9:The reception personal, the public kitchen very dirty, the bed is the most terrible bed we sleep in hole Itlay. You feel all the springs in you back.
Review 10:The view from the pool.
Review 11:Bad and not free (only 1 hour free for five days) internet conection.
Review 12:Good quiet location and nice view on Florence. Well management territory, swiming pool. Relative good (price and quality) accomodation.
Review 13:the chalets are not properly screened and there were alot of mosquitoes at night which led to alot of bites. Also the ac is only in the bedroom so the kids who slept in the living area were far too hot at night.
Review 14:great views, lovely pool but no umbrellas round the pool, so kids both got sunburnt. staff and restaurant was good and fairly priced.
Review 15:Unfortunately at the time of year we were there there were quite a few mosquito's!!!
Review 16:This is a superb sight if you wish to have easy access to Florence but wish to escape the heat of the city, especially in the height of the summer. There is s direct bus from Fiesole which takes about 20 minutes to San Marco and a shuttle bus to and from the campsite to the bus stop.
Review 17:Having to wear swim cap in pool. Barrier in/out of site not opening until 7.00, had planned to leave for race track at 6.30.
Review 18:Great location for getting to Mugello race track for MotoGP. Picturesque, peaceful, fantastic views of Florence. Easy bus ride to Florecnce from nearby town.
Review 19:I had internet included with my payment and booking and when I arrived they gave me 2 hours and they wanted to charge me. I explained but still did not give me the free internet like was booked.
Review 20:the restaurant food and staff was excellent
Review 21:Great value for Money, close to city and easy to get to with bus or taxi... Amazing poolside view, friendly staff and cheap yet tasty and delicious food:)
Review 22:There's no free wifi, you have to pay after the first hour. For us it didn't provide wifi at all, neither did restaurants and other facilities. location is really inconvenient without a car.
Review 23:nice view of Florence city
Review 24:Very small cabin. Supposedly for four people therefore stuffed full of furniture so no room to move about even for two people. Very damp. Wifi didn't work even in "wifi" area which was a plastic hut in the middle of the carpark. Very, very expensive for what we got. Couldn't recommend it at all.
Review 25:Nothing.
Review 26:- staff not very nice, often answering rude - wi-fi DOESN'T work anywhere except in reception.
Review 27:- the chalet was perfect for couple or couple with kids - view was lovely - great value for the money - easy acces to Florence by bus 7
Review 28:The views were fantastic we had a cabin with a kitchen we prepared our own meals, shuttle bus into town was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great value for money would stay there again if in Florence. Only downfall is wifi only available near reception
Review 29:Mobile Home was very cramped. Ok, as we just needed somewhere to crash. But if the weather was bad I don't know whether there is sufficient to do at site.
Review 30:Friendly staff. Tania/reception in particular was very helpful when we had a problem. The view from the terrace/pool/ restaurant was stunning. Fiesole is a pleasant small town with enough interest and good place to chill out. Free shuttle bus a bonus but not essential except back up the hill.
Review 31:Bed sunk in the middle, shower tray cracked. Shuttle could run later even if it had to be chargeable as a cab back cost us e22
Review 32:We booked Camping Panaramico for its location, being an easy bus ride to Florence, and also it's proximity to Fiesole so we could go out for a drink and walk back. The walk was quite an arduous one but ok if you are reasonably fit. Restaurant good if basic, staff unusually friendly for Italy!
Review 33:- worst pillow ever - no kitchen and no fridge in bungalows
Review 34:- nice swimming pool - shuttle to venice - free computers with internet - free parking
Review 35:The fridge was quite noisy and so we couldn't sleep that well.
Review 36:The views were beautiful, the facilities were great, the chalet was clean and well equipped.
Review 37:Dirty Mosquitos, so many Mosquitos! Do not go here without lots ofmosquito repellent and citronella candles etc!! The pool and it'sridiculous rule about wearing a swimming cap! Why, why, why?! You lookstupid wearing one. It's uncomfortable and they charge €2.50 for theprivilege! All the rules around the pool: no balls, no inflatables, lilobeds, no diving etc it closed too early.the wifi 'shed' for wifiaccess was full of Mosquitos and the wifi was very, very slow. Allowabout 30 mosquito bites for every email sent if it sent at all?! Badatmosphere. Full of Germans (no offence but too many is too many)
Review 38:The town (Fiesole) is very nice Kitchen facilities in the cabin westayed in were good (not the communal kitchen area, this was not good!)
Review 39:I find it strange that you needed to buy a lighter for the cook stove just to use it.
Review 40:The pool was nice and café next to it was great for drinks. The chalet that we stayed in was clean and comfortable.
Review 41:The price was reasonable, and location excellent. It is located at the top of Fiesole and not accessible by public transportation. Bus #7 from Florence will drop you off Piazza Mino, and after that it is a 1-1.5 km hike up. You could arrange for the shuttle to pick you up, in advance. Must have a swim cap for the pool.
Review 42:The location is excellent - the hills, the views, the trees, the pool area. Fiesole is really nice and charming. Bus 7 to Firenze is every 20 mins. and very reliable. We had a really great time!
Review 43:Staff spoke english and was very helpful. Restaurant veiw was amazing. Bungalow was clean with kitchenette.
Review 44:The blankets smelled like cigarette smoke.
Review 45:It was very cold in the room...
Review 46:No free wifi
Review 47:accessibility somehow difficult, limited time free WI-fi, poor supermarket
Review 48:nice wooden chalet, Florence view, beautiful nature
Review 49:a little small the place but good for sleep
Review 50:great staff, great view of Florence
Review 51:Everything, in special the restaurant staff
Review 52:Wi-Fi not working very well.
Review 53:Wonderful location. Nice view on Firenze. Structure very cleaned.
Review 54:Wi-fi only 1 hour free. Mobilhouse without klima.
Review 55:Great view. Clean pool. Very kind and helpfull staff in the pool bar.
Review 56:Wifi
Review 57:The view. Restaurant food and staff.
Review 58:Access to the faculty
Review 59:The panoramic surrounding.
Review 60:Reception è molto antipatica.
Review 61:Piscina
Review 62:The location. The silence. The views. The trees. The pool. The meals next to the pool. The good food. Fiesole.
Review 63:View to Firenze, swimming pool
Review 64:Internet acess only at the reception,no aircondition, mini market very limited
Review 65:Nice view
Review 66:zero
Review 67:location, pool, comfort
Review 68:Price, view,
Review 69:Great location, amazing friendly and helpful reception staff who remember your face from previous visits!
Review 70:pay parking, and deposit on towels, 5euro for wifi at restaurant
Review 71:Disturbance from other visiters
Review 72:Nice price nice panorama
Review 73:nothing
Review 74:A nice quiet camp with all facillities that you could need. Very nice helpful staff and fantatic veiws of Florance.
Review 75:The view from the pool is amazing. The food and vino in the restaurant excellent! Easy to get into the heart of Florence from the camp ground.
Review 76:Very cramped in our mobile home, many bugs, but otherwise a nice stay
Review 77:The staff was incredible and the view was nice. The walk to the bus center took around 20 minutes, and the camping site is located in a pleasant area
Review 78:The camping is a little bit remote from the center and the bus station to Firenze. The shuttle service is sparse.
Review 79:The location is beautiful. Nice staff. Good food in the restaurant. The cabin was clean and comfortable with nice kitchenet.
Review 80:No space to even open our luggages in the mobile home..(seriously!) its ok max. For two, not for a family, you have to consider this! Otherwise everything eas ok, location is good, if you're by vehicle.
Review 81:Liked the staff, especially in the restaurant. In the mibile home, there was hot water, the view was beautiful from the restaurant/pool
Review 82:It may be difficult to fit four persons in the mobile home (it has four beds), because the space is very limited - for two people it was fine. Although, the restaurant serves good food, it does not serve the right amount - the portions were small.
Review 83:The staff was very helpful, explaining everything about the camping and visiting Florence. Panoramic view of Florence is breathtaking. Mobile home was clean and had all linens. Camping restaurant serves good food and wine.
Review 84:It's not fully open at this time of year and, being on a hill, can be a bit chilly in the evening. These are observations, not criticisms - you get what you pay for, and this represents excellent value for money.
Review 85:I have been coming to Panoramico for 30 years, so there's obviously plenty to like. Easy access to Firenze and fabulous views over the city, but without the price tag of a city centre hotel. Lovely polyglott staff.
Review 86:Be aware that the shop and restaurant close during the off season andits annoying to need to drive back down into town to get something toeat. Also, never believe Booking.com's messages saying "onlyone left".
Review 87:Quiet location and staff were helpful
Review 88:poor bed mattress and pillows, very cramped
Review 89:location and parking facility. Would recomend if they are adventureus and if the facilities could be improved with a better mattress and a better pillows.
Review 90:Nothing, great to have a place to ourselves at a nice price.
Review 91:It was a cool alternative to staying in the city center, while still being able to take public transport to the center in about 30 minutes. We rented a car, and we were relieved we'd have someplace to park it for free.
Review 92:restaurant didn't work when we came
Review 93:it was nice place to bath and sleep.. enough place for two. beautiful view of the city and Fiesole is also special little city
Review 94:Camping trailer is good for sleep and showering but nothing else. Bed is taking all space, you have no free space for movement.
Review 95:View at the Florence is outstanding.
Review 96:It would be a good idea to spray the mobile home after check out cause there are a lot of mosquitoes.
Review 97:Lovely camping with great views to Florence. The mobile homes are small but enough for a couple. The camping is quiet so is great if you want to rest. Is only 10 minutes far by car from Florence.
Review 98:Nothing much about the campsite but we did find that drinks and food was more expensive in Fiesole than in Florence which surprised us, would advise eating there
Review 99:Liked the location very much, nice walk into town, and reliability of the camp shuttle, allowing easy connection into Florence.....staff were friendly and helpful especially on reception...we stayed in a chalet which had everything we needed, nice clean bed linen, and hot showers didn't want for anything else. The pool looked inviting but unfortunately we didn't have bathing caps which was a shame so remember to take theming you want to use the pool.
Review 100:Take insect replent as the local midges are prolific.
Review 101:Location and views of Florence from the pool were wonderful. The site was very relaxing and staff spoke good English and were helpful. The resturant meals were of a good standard but not cheap. The shuttle to the bus stop in Fiesole was useful as the climb to the site was steep.
Review 102:Warning to families. Bungalows are tiny and cramped. They say it sleeps a family of four but not if you have any luggage! Even with no luggage you can't move. We moved to a chalet which was adequate but much more money. (55 euros increased to 95 euros per night)
Review 103:Hard to reach, mobile home stuck between others with absolutely no view, very tiny rooms, bed not comfortable, no kitchen in the mobile home but one kitchen for every body.
Review 104:Nice view from the pool Cheap Friendly staff Free shuttle Beautiful trees
Review 105:The travel trailer accommodations were a little tight.
Review 106:Convenient - short walk to Fiesole. Great Bar (Italian) & Restauarant, very good English by staff
Review 107:Originally booked the mobile home units which did not suit our needs at all so we upgraded to a cabin which was perfect. The lady at the office was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. The facilities at the site were spotless and the whole place is lovely. They have a restaurant with good food. There is a shuttle bus that will take you into Fiesole and you can easily catch the no. 7 bus to Florence or a hop on- hop off bus from there.
Review 108:Views over Florence absolutely stunning. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Only 20 mins from Mugello MotoGP circuit.
Review 109:Chalet is too tiny for four adults to fit in with luggage
Review 110:Great view, cooking and ironing facilities around
Review 111:Long walk form town
Review 112:Good location for walk in nature park.
Review 113:Mobile homes are very tiny.
Review 114:Great view to Florence.
Review 115:This is a great budget place to stay - just up a pretty country hill from Florence. The views are special.
Review 116:shower had a mind of its own!!
Review 117:clean, value, hot water, all good

Review 128:I like the atmotphere.
