Review 1：The staff is as always very friendly. As it may be the customer service in Italy on the lower part of the scale, this hotel has really pleasant and very helpful staff. Printing facilities is a big plus as it may be difficult in some places to get your documents while you travel abroad. Breakfast is quite substantial too. Our room was super tidy and shiny. Big thank you to all the hard working ladies. Highly recommend.

Review 2：Only one negative, the shower curtains were ineffective and every time I had a shower the bathroom was flooded. However, it was dry by the time I returned later in the day.

Review 5：We were excited to revisit Assisi for the first time in thirty years. Hotel Roma was perfect. The staff was inviting and helpful. The location made walking easy to all of the town's sights. We splurged on a room with an Umbrian view, and the view delivered as promised with miles of Umbria spread out from our window. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has a bar and served up generous poors of local wine. The breakfast was notable for an egg cooker, almost unheard of in Italy.

Review 6：Being at a funeral home would have been better. In room 10 ur beside the noisy kitchen so we asked to be moved. The reluctantly obliged but we were put on top floor in a room wit a toilet in the shower. Disgusting. Terrible attitude from staff who hid and ignored us as we left. We didnt shower durin the stay too afraid to.

Review 9：stayed in room 22 which was spacious for 3 people. bathroom was also big. hotel was right next to piazza chiara. View down below in the early morning, when there were no tourist, was great!

Review 10：The room was much smaller than I expected. It felt a bit cramped. The bed springs were uncomfortable. The bed was neither too hard or too soft, but the mix of hard bedsprings and not having enough padding on the bed made for an uncomfortable sleep. You could hear the bedsprings straining under your weight very clearly.

Review 12：Spartan accommodations and because it didn't have a/c we slept with the windows open. Next to our room was a kitchen or something, so there was a lot of conversation and pots banging till 11:00pm or so and again around 7:00 am.

Review 17：Location was good but parking was a bit of a pain with being a distance away, once you find where you are going I suppose it is worth it as Assisi is such a lovely place. Wi fi didn't work in the rooms but the rooms are nice, no air con but a big ceiling fan which was great and necessary. We had a late lunch in hotel after arriving and it was quite reasonable if not the best food in Italy, just passable.

Review 18：I stayed this hotel 1 night. I felt it was great. Reception crews are really kindness. He gave me a double bed room. Even I booked single room. Really they have a comfortable bed but quite problem in bathroom which clogged on the floor I felt embarrassed at that time. Moreover I disappointed breakfast too much... Even 8 euros... But you can choice to eat or not. This hotel location is very nice maybe it is centre in Assisi. Assisi is small town. If you are stay in here, it's nice choice.

Parking is possible in a big parking house close by and you can stop in front of the hotel on a taxi spot to pick up your luggage.

Review 27：For reasons that are inexplicable, they refuse to upgrade their wifi, acting as if every complaint is a complete mystery. Meanwhile 50 meters down the street, a small tabac shop has perfect wifi. That is unacceptable in 2015.

Review 29：It was very difficult to get the wifi to work in the rooms. The staff (especially the main woman) was not very nice and acted put out anytime we had a question. The hotel itself was great, I was not a fan of the staff and don't it see what the other reviews are talking about when they mention a welcoming staff.

Review 34：Francesco is a very good host and is always ready to talk to his guests. The room was modern and nicely renovated. The bathroom and shower were very good. I can't say enough about this place and would recommend it to my friends.

Review 35：They charged to my credit card one day before my arrival. When I checked in, they didn't inform me of it so I paid the same amount in cash. Two weeks later, I found it from my online bank statement so I asked them to return the money but they have denied I paid it in cash and can't return the money if I can't present a receipt of payment in cash. Unfortunately, I can't find the receipt till today.

Review 36：Imagine the bathroom on an aeroplane. The bathroom adjoined to my room was only marginally bigger than that.

Review 37：The location is perfect: in the old city, opposite the tomb of St Claire, with beautiful views of the valley, and easy walking distance from the bus stop which connects to the train station. Also, the staff are gracious and helpful.

Review 38：The location was easy to find. I stayed at a single room but a bed was big and comfortable. Facilities like a hair dryer were equipped in a room and the wifi connection was strong enough. A hotel was warm because of a heater. Review 40：We stayed for 4 nights and trudged all over - and beyond - Assisi. The hotel was comfortable, quiet, in a terrific central location, and the front desk people were always helpful with directions and assistance. We'd love to go back and do it all again.

Review 41：Make sure about the price if you add another night stay. Because I had an unusual changes in my trip plans, and I had to book in this hotel, they were very friendly and gave me an extra night. But the receptionist told me it will be the same price that I had on booking.com, but when I went to pay after 2 days, they took double price saying that it is a saturday night, although I was sure about the first day's deal.

Review 42：Staff were friendly, very clean hotel, very good location, 2min walking to the bus station, Santa Clara church is facing it, and only 20min walking to Saint Francis. Very good Wifi connection in every place in the hotel.

Review 43：I'm sure these few issues were in the fine print, but I must have missed them. First, there was no AC in the room, which in August can be a bit uncomfortable. There was a pretty hefty ceiling fan overhead and with open windows the room wasn't too bad. Those used to AC will likely be disappointed. Also, I was let down with the breakfast. There are two options, a simple Italian style breakfast or a standard buffet. The first costs 4 euro per person and the second 8 euro pp. Neither was a great bargain. The Italian style consisted of three tiny cakes and a dallop of butter. The buffet had a bit more (some meats, yogurt, etc) but for a family of four, 32 euro was a little much. Other than these minor complaints, the hotel was just fine.

Review 44：The location of this hotel was wonderful (right outside the Basilica di Santa Chiara) and a fairly easy trek from the Mojano parking facility just down the hill. We could see the piazza and the valley below from our room window. Spectacular.

Review 45：The manager Danielle accused me of stalking him when I was emailing to ask simple questions about canceling. Although the hotel itself was fine, I don't encourage business for a hotel where the customer service is so bad and downright disrespectful.
