Review 1：There is a bus 7 from San Marco that runs frequently to Fiesole 6km so you don't a car to get there. Walking distance from The train station. Florence is great it nice to get away from the crowds and be high on a Tuscan hill. Fiesole was very pleasant. If you drive, come back n from the top and it is almost at the bottom. Although it Number 1 it across from 6 and the turn up road is extremely difficult.

Review 2：Well-maintained interior, kind staff at the reception and at breakfast; it was useful to have a hairdryer and a fridge in the room. Calm environment on the night of stay.

Review 3：The rooms were cold. Poor wifi connection. No tea/coffee making facilities in a 3 star hotel. We felt the hotel needed refreshing.

Review 5：It was a very clean, neat hotel. The staff was very friendly, spoke good English and tried to help us with everything. For example, there was a taxi strike, and it was almost impossible to get a cab, but they always managed to get one for us. There are many nice restaurants near the hotel (5-7 minutes walking) and also the bus's stop -which takes you in to Firenze (20 minutes busride) is very close. Overall, it was a very pleasant time.

Review 6：Although we had booked our stay nine whole months before, for an eight days stay and had specifically asked for a quiet room, upon arrival we were given probably the noisiest room (no 8), facing a very busy road. When asked for another room the following day the owner was not willing to help...

Review 12：A nice hotel located 300 meters from the main square. However, it is located on a steep and very narrow street. A very nice and clean room with air-conditioning. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast with a variety of food to choose from. A free parking is located ca. 700 meters by car, but 200 meters on foot (stairs)

Review 13：The bed was very hard and quite uncomfortable. The wifi didn't work in the room, we had to sit in the lobby area or right beside our bedroom door to get signal

Review 14：The hotel was very clean and close to restaurants and the bus route into Florence. The staff were friendly and helpful with our questions. The breakfast was basic but tasted good and the coffee was also good.

Review 15：We travelled with a baby and there was no bath for us to wash the baby so made things difficult for us. The shower head height adjuster was broken and was just strung up. Not a hotel for buggies or disabled guests. The loft doesn't go from the top to bottom of the rooms so you either have to use the stairs or get someone to keep opening the fire exit for you. You couldnt do this alone with a baby or disabled guest. The breakfast was also extremely basic.

Review 32：If you have a car and are using a GPS you should avoid routes that would use the very narrow streets, too difficult to drive thru. Parking at the hotel is not easy as the garage is most of the time full and there is not enough space for all guests. You would have to park in public parking 15 min walk from the hotel. Other than that the location is great.

Review 46：The way to the hotel includes a steep lane ! It took big effort to my mother to climb it. This lane is also the "road" to the hotel. It is so narrow that i was adviced to walk by foot beforehand in order to check if my car is passable !!! It is only for small cars and well experience and fearless drivers ! Driving the car there is a true challenge. Anyway - there was no available parking place in the hotel ... The breakfast is unsatisfactory.

Review 52：Only 8km's from Florence but a world away in terms of relaxation at the end of the day. Nice restaurants a few minutes walk away. Fantastic for cycling as beautiful hills and valleys with good place to return for coffee. Similarly a good ride to Florence and back up narrow winding streets.

We did some walking in the trails in the hills. We are fairly fit and it was not a problem for us but others need to be aware that Fiesole is hilly and there is s bit of a climb to the villa. The roads are narrow. The bus was quick and one easy trip to downtown Florence.

I travelled with my parents and they are old people, 67 and 79. We had to carry all the luggage up in a climbing access road to the hotel which is very hard for older people! Further more, when my father got to the reception, he asked for a glass of water of of the guy in the reception since he was thirsty, the guy was willing to give him only the glass without water. Most unkind service.
