Bed and Breakfast Gentarrubia sells fast on our site. Gentarrubia is a small, charming B&B in Capoterra along the south coast of Sardinia. It has modern rooms, and both an outdoor swimming pool and a heated indoor swimming pool with a hot tub.

Review 2：Cozy and fine place to stay with peaceful environment. Special thanks to very kind staff and their warmness. We enjoyed nice breakfast and also the restaurant recommended by the staff. Indoor spa pool was good, too.

Review 3：The immediate area is quiet, and there are shops and restaurants not too far away but there is no pleasant walking. You could get to the beach or supermarket on foot but you had to navigate some areas without sidewalks and mix it with traffic, which is very heavy during evening rush hour, due to the nearby refinery.

Review 4：Staff were excellent. A warm welcome from Pasquale and Matteo. Good breakfast, nice room, lovely garden in a pleasant subdivision. Perfect as a base to explore the south coast of Sardinia, even Cagliari itself. I would say a car is essential, and with it you have very convenient access to about a third of the island, all within a couple of hours' drive.

Review 5：- The bad sound insulation of walls between rooms might be a problem in case of loud guests in the rooms next door. Fortunately this wasn't an issue for us. - A lot of dogs in the neighbourhood can start barking at the same time in the middle of the night - might be an issue if you like to have open windows. Except for the dogs however the neighbourhood is very quiet, much better than somewhere in the city.

Review 7：The only thing was the water from the shower was making the floor all wet so have there something to wipe it with would be good but it was not a major issue ;)

Review 8：We loved the this B&B and everything about it. Great outdoor pool with loungers to relax, nice outside seating area to hang around. Rooms are great and comfortable. We also loved the indoor mini swimming pool (very good when raining :) ) The breakfast was also good - simple but tasty. All staff very friendly and helpful. If we back in Sardinia would definitely come back again! Thank you for lovely stay!!

Review 11：Hopefully the mirrored glazing between the suite and pool was not transparent. Odd experience. Jacuzzi was paid upgrade. Kids of other guests. Bit unlucky with that.

Review 12：It felt luxurious + sophisticated and not just because of the room upgrade (suite) we got upon check-in. Mini-hotel facilities with B&B comfort. Pool was pleasant, just like both covered and open resting/seating areas. Panoramic route nearby beautiful.

Review 16：There were a lot of flies on the food at breakfast. Didn't feel hygienically. We had the economy room and it was very small. There was no room for our suitcases. The bathroom was almost as big as the sleeping part, what a waste of space... Room was cleaned every day. But the cleaner also cleaned up our stuff, we really didn't like that. Couldn't find some things anymore! Room was too small and too hot, so definitely not worth the money!

Review 17：The breakfast was fine for Italian standards. What you see on the pictures, is exactly what you get. You should be on time, to be sure to have some nice croissants. The swimming pool looked nice, but we didn't used it though. Staff was really helpful in recommanding some nice beaches in the area. The best beaches are 30 minutes away (by car). Cagliari ant the airport are reached within 20 minutes. Wifi was free. The owner listened to the reviews, I guess, because there were enough sunbeds around the swimming pool.

Review 34：The beach was not the cleanest nearby (Maddalena). Buses did not run on schedule (apparently did not turn on at all on time) and locals barely spoke English. Only one pizzeria and a fish restaurant about 2kms from the hotel. Definitely hire a car!

Review 35：The hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly, they answered all the questions we had and helped a lot. Gentarrubia itself is a very nice, clean bed & breakfast in Capoterra. The breakfast was really good as well. Overall a very nice experience, we would return with a car for sure.

Review 36：15min walk to nearest beach. Beach is ok. Coolest beach around is Pula. By bus, 20 min + 20 min walking not so often timetable though.

Review 38：Location above all. It was really quiet with birds singing all day longs, no cars drivings by and such, but even the nearest supermercado (as well as bus stop) is 15 min walk. Having a car is recommended. Everything else was fine.

Review 39：B&B is located on the outskirts of La Maddalena beach-side village, so one should consider having a car to move around. Having a car, or catching an ARST bus, it easy to travel to nearby beaches, or to Cagliari. The owner, Pasqualle, was utterly friendly and helpful. So was rest of staff, though not English-speaking. Rooms are tidy, clean, with an excellent A/C. And a great breakfast by Sardinian terms!
