Residence Piccolo sells fast on our site. Piccolo Residence offers independent apartment accommodation in a Calabrian heavenly spot, surrounded by an enchanting garden, and offering breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, only 0.6 miles from lively Tropea.
The recently built Residence provides the maximum in enjoyment and relaxation at a short walk from the private reserved beach, equipped with sun lounges and parasols. The Piccolo also offers a comfortable panoramic sun terrace.
The 14 apartments, different in size and located on 2 floors, are designed to satisfy the needs of a family or group of friends with the comforts of home and a superb seaside location. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchen, dining area, balcony and sofa-bed.
Upon reservation, Piccolo Residence welcomes you to its restaurant, where you can enjoy traditional Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner.
During summer the hotel may only be bookable for long stays of 2 or more nights.

Review 1：A wonderful roof terrace overlooking Tropea and Stromboli! Free parking. Clean and modern rooms with large balcony and a small kitchen. Friendly staff who helped with everything we could ask for.

Review 5：Personnel at breakfast room was too impersonal with no communication. No shuttle bus appeared at the time presented in timetable, fortunately the beach is quite close to get there on foot.

Review 7：The Hotel is quite distant from the beach and on a hill. On a hot summer day it is not recommended to go on foot to the beach. The air-conditioners cannot be turned off completely (they turn on and off every several minutes working for about 30 seconds!?!), except if the balcony door is open. The older lady at the reception could be more customer oriented. Expensive breakfast. Very close to the property there is a market/pizzeria called Tonino. While it is conveniently close, the prices of the articles in the shop are outrageous, and the service in the pizzeria is below any Italian standard. They are slow and disoriented.

Review 8：Nice facility, clean, with excellent garden, nice view from the terrace, jacuzzi on the terrace open all the time. The hotel offers transportation to/from the beach and the city of Tropea free of charge, which is of paramount importance if you don't have your own car. For those with car, there is sufficient parking space on the property. The owner of the property, who is driving the van with his son, is very nice.

Review 21：very nice location a bit further from touristic Tropea. Apartment was very cozy and very clean, everything functions well. The warm welcome from family added a special touch to our stay. Breakfasts are great on upper terrace with the most beautiful view to the neighbourhood. We found the local restaurants and icecream-bars much better in Parghelia than in Tropea which is too touristic.

Review 23：Fully agree with previous positive comments about location, cleanliness, services etc. I would like to point out one more thing - great breakfasts. Good basic offer and several additional options changing every morning. Another important "pro" for those who stay for longer period.

Review 24：Wonderful, clean place with outstanding service. The Piccolo family run it and they are extremely accommodative and outgoing. Our best experience in Italy. There is a shuttle to the beach and into town and it runs like clockwork. And the rooftop bar offers great views and is a good place to relax.

Review 26：The time we spent at Piccilo Residence was unforgettable. Ideally located within easy reach of Tropea and Spiaggia del Nonno. Great service all round. The family that run the residence made us fell at home away from home. The beech del Nonno, by the way, conveniently included in the price which otherwise can be costly in the centre of Tropea. We will definately come back next year !

Review 27：The roof terrace is something else, beautiful views, wonderful sunsets. Piccolo residence is very well maintained, spotlessly clean and the family are friendly and very helpful. The location for two beaches, and Tropea (a 20 minute walk away) is ideal. We had a great holiday.

Review 28：It was a little noisy in the mornings when breakfast was being served upstairs but that's only because we like a lie-in!

Review 30：A small private hotel. Very friendly owner. Serve vacationers family members Piccolo. Walk down to the beach 10 minutes on foot. Umbrellas and sun beds free of charge. The son of the owner carries comers to the beach and back, and Tropea, a minibus for free. Beach - sand, clean. The territory of the hotel is combined with the hotel Tirreno. A beautiful garden. Free private car Parking. On the territory there is a restaurant. The food is delicious, but serve long. The rooftop bar and Jacuzzi overlooking Tropea. To sleep in a room with the window open, bring insect repellent.

Review 31：The residence owners were extremely friendly, helpful and provided an excellent service. The residence is spotless, the rooms are comfortable and large. The location is good, a healthy walk into Tropea and a relaxing walk into Parghelia and the local restaurant and cafes.

Review 33：It's such a lovely walk into Tropea of an evening, takes about 15-20 minutes down countryside lanes. Very clean and tidy apartment with a nice big balcony and upstairs there is an amazing rooftop terrace with two jacuzzi which are fun for a night time relax. We were here late September and it really wasn't busy, exactly what we wanted, no music, no hordes of people, just a bit of peace very close to a beautiful town. We didn't go to the beach but you are given tokens for sunbeds when you book in. We saw a man walking his cow.

Review 34：Everything we expected and more. Friendly, welcoming and helpful family run-business. Good location for visiting Tropea and Calabria. Nonnos Beach was a bonus! Would highly recommend as a venue if planning a holiday to this party of the world.

Review 35：The day we received the keys of our appartment, we discovered that the toilet (skid marks) and the shower cabin were not so clean. The balcony wasn't swept clean as well. There were no towels or a sponge in the kitchen to wash or clean the dishes. The shower cabin is sooooo small, you can hardly move and the doors weren't solid. We didn't know that the appartments wouldn't not be cleaned daily, so we asked the personnel to clean it (against a price of EUR 24,00). Towels and bedsheets were then changed. According to the personnel this is mentioned on their website, but we haven't seen it anywhere. The second week we returned to this Residence, we stayed in another appartment which was cleaner and nicer.

Review 36：This residence has only appartments. We had a beautiful and big appartment with a large balcony. The personnel was very nice and spoke very good English. The terrace on the roof is amazing! With clear weather you can see Stromboli and Panarea. Really wonderful! Tropea is only 1,5 km from Residence Piccolo. We also rented a car, so we went to Tropea by car every day. The road to the private beach (Lido del Nonno) was sandy and unsafe, so we were very glad to be able to go by car. Lido del Nonno was nice and pretty with clearblue water and a white sandy beach and a good restaurant with typical Calabrian food. We stayed at this Residence for a whole week. The second week we went towards the Ionian coast, but after two days we went back to Parghelia and stayed in this appartment again. In the same street of this Residence you'll find a small market, called Tonino, where you can buy fresh bread and all sorts of Italian/Calabrian delicacies.

Review 39：Residence Piccolo was a surprise because I booked it as a 3 * Hotel and Residence Piccolo was a real 5 * place. Easy to walk to the beach, easy to visit Tropea, my breakfast at the terrace with a unique view was incredible. I recommend the cake that is baked by "la mamma". The Piccolo family who are in charge of the place make me feel to be at home and not in a Hotel. If you dont like to walk and want to go to the center of Tropea, the mini bus was always ready to take you to the city or train station and pick you up at any moment as part of the Hotel service. What more!!

Review 42：It would have been nice if the property next door hadn't added theirrooftop pool etc, but you can't stop progress!! We were worried thatthey might crank up the (usually bad) music etc, but that absolutelydidn't happen, which was really great.

Review 43：It's clean (very important to us), quiet, very well maintained. This wasour second stay, and can only hope they keep everything the same. Welove the little distance from the biz of Tropea (so easy to nip in for afabulous choice of restaurants, shopping, etc, but far enough away tofeel you're in the country), and the proximity to Parghelia and itslittle shops for essentials. Location is more or less perfect. Ownersand staff are top notch! Food in the restaurant is excellent. Specialkudos to the groundskeeper/gardener! It's wonderful to have a place youcan choose that doesn't have loud, obnoxious music blaring, and an"animation team" yelling about crazy games through a microphone.Although we are music-lovers, we really don't like the "thunka-thunka-thunka" all day, that many properties seem to think is essential. Rp isso sane, and professionally run.
