A fully equipped, private beach is located in front of Hotel Talao. There is a diving center just a few hundred yards away. Nearby you can go rafting and trekking. Hang-gliding facilities are just a few miles away.
Decorated in a typical Mediterranean style, the Talao is near near the Pollino National Park, and convenient for taking a mini cruise of the Gulf of Policastro.
Public transportation is available in front of the hotel. Take advantage of Hotel Talao’s free train transfer. There is a convenient airport transfer available upon request and for an additional fee. Parking is free.

Review 1：Rooms facing the street tend to be noisy. Opt for a sea view if you can

Review 2：attentive staff, highly efficient and courteous and catered to every need. located on the beach, with a large pool and ample lounge chairs and deckchairs available for the clientele. Entertainment was provided one night of our stay and the kitchen prepared a typical regional dinner for all the guests

Review 3：Only old people in the hotel. We were the only ones under 70. So expect bingo and karaoke nights. Breakfast is terrible. Zero choice and old buns...

Review 16：The very friendly staff, courteous, warm-hearted and helpful. The fantastic location close to the beautiful beach and for those who rather would be at the clean pool, there was also that choice. Location within walking distance to various restaurants, the medieval Town or just strolling along the shops; by car quite close up to stunning views of locations from mountains; a drive SS18 to Maratea Christ the Redeemer about 710 feet is recommended. Your vehicle is on private fenced parking - no worries. I was here in the middle of May 2013, because I feel comfortable with less touristlife but although with people around me and was very satisfied. Absolutely perfect room with a seaview and a big sunny balcony. Daily cleaning of the room. This is a place and a hotel I guaranteed will return to. :) Thank you Hotel Talao!!

Review 17：There was no air conditioning so if the guest cannot live without an air conditioner he or she may have a hard time sleeping. Did not bother me at all, however.

Your location is excellant, welcoming staff, speaks English and the place is clean. Breakfast is modest, however as it was a very off season time we were happy enough.
