Review 1：A little outdated. Some rooms are in need of renovation. Wish the bed was a little softer.

Review 4：nice bright and spacious room with a comfortable bed and a great view. the hotel has a very nice oldfashioned, faded glory feeling to it - only the bathroom facilitites were just a bit too outdated. We loved that checkout was at 12.00, which gave us time for a last morning swim on the pleasant little pebble beach.

Review 5：the good restaurants in town were all booked.. so guess you need to be on time and to make a reservation. Hotel tried but could not really help.

Review 6：Good location and very good breakfast. Pool looked nice but went to the beach and used their chairs instead, very nice. Hotel is nice just at bit old fashioned and could use a bit of an update.

Review 13：Il materasso forse è un tantino duro. Superiamo il falso mito dei materassi ortopedici. A volte, l'aperitivo serale sulla spiaggia è rovinato da un incomprensibile sottofondo musicale composito. Occorre assolutamente negoziare con gli altri stabilmenti e accordarsi almeno su uno stesso genere musicale, se non proprio sullo stesso disco.

Review 14：La posizione dell'hotel: meravigliosa, a picco sul mare. La spiaggia: pertinenziale. Il profumo dei gelsomini sulla terrazza. La terrazza, e la colazione ivi imbandita: un occhio al mare, l'aroma del caffè che si mescola alla fragranza della ciambella appena sfornata e al profumo di gelsomini. L'arredamento: mogano e stile marinaro, semplicemente perfetto. La rigorosa pulizia delle stanze. L'inarrivabile gentilezza del personale.

Review 20：We ordered sea view room but when we arrived to the hotel there was no room available for the first night so they offered for a smaller rate a room with a view on the parking which I think is not what the service should be for 4 stars - usually you get the room of a better grade for the same amount of money. However we negotiated to have a small discount on our stay. Not much to chose from on breakfast however very tasty croissants and coffee. WiFi works only in common areas if noone around is using Internet. Only 2 girls on reception spoke English - all other staff couldn't understand us. We asked for a non-smoking room. However our neighbours were smoking in their room and on the balcony. All rooms are converted to suits which means they have doors between them - you can smell everything through this door, it literally smells the same if they were smoking in your room. When i complained to the receptions I realised you are allowed to smoke in all rooms.

Review 21：The hotel is located far from noisy bars/discos with a beautiful view of Scalea beach if you chose seaview. It has its own private beach with all the equipment for free and a small bar.

Review 23：Helpfull staff, nice swimming pool and bar, really enjoyed the food at the bar on the beach and the athmosphere! Good restaurant along the Sea - la scogliera pizzeria is worth a visit and really cheap!

Review 24：We had GPS, but the hotel proved elusive. We drove by it a few times because the cars were driving fast on the main road and we did not see the sign.

Review 25：Hotel was away from the road and quiet. We had a balcony and view of the broad beach and ocean. The hotel had a pool, but we went to the beach and used the chaise lounges and umbrellas. The water was warm and clean. Lots of cheap places to eat along the waterfront area. The old town was worth exploring. The hotel was lovely. Staff were very friendly and tolerated my butchering of Italian. The hotel was just steps to the beach.

Review 34：Very nice location, one of the best on the north Calabria Tyrrhenian coast. Large structure from the mythical 60’s superbly located and maintained. Practical private parking, nice and competent staff. Nice rooms with luxury furniture and very calm. Very nice swimming pool & spa with a view! Private beach with classy animations, located within meters from the hotel. Superb sunsets guaranteed. I hope they will reopen the hotel restaurants, but nice restaurants are available on the beach with fresh fish and excellent pasta and pizzas.

Review 37：1. very poor restaurant- meals were very international taste=whithout local tradiction, served cool /fished seemed to be warm up :{/ The wine was to warm, that was a problem with peper, oil /only one kind in a very poor quality/ and so, so.... The waiders were dressed to officialy according to the standard they produce /black suit and bow tie and simple tablescape with very limited glasses, slightly worn tellers :{/ 2. very poor English as 4stars hotel :{ 3. there are some rooms with the brick wall 3m before your window
