Review 1：Requires a bus ride into Assisi, which is fairly exciting & entertaining. But it's a circular bus route, not short, and is rough after a while. We opted for a cab (€10) in the afternoon for our return.

Review 2：Nice but small room, has a nice west-facing balcony. Good bed, nice bathroom. Very good breakfast, plenty of parking.

Review 4：Lovely family run hotel just outside the city walls about a kilometer. Very clean and modern with good parking. The view of the valley from our room was beautiful and we had a small balcony (with table and two chairs) that we sat on and enjoyed the view. Large enough hotel for one bus tour a night and we had a different one each of the two nights we stayed. We were in the modern annex and it was very quiet though a bit closer to a small road then the main building. Breakfast buffet was very good and had a large selection of items. We also had dinner in the restaurant and found it to be very good! Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Though not inside the walls, it was a perfect place to stay and enjoy the town.

Review 8：We arrived v late due to a train strike in Florence and were pleasantly surprised to find that the manager had kept the kitchen open so that we could have dinner. Nothing was toouch trouble for the staff who "went the extra mile". We had amazing views from our room which was located on the 3rd floor. Hotel Terrazza is just a short walk from the centre of Assisi which we visited every day as there was so much to see. The hotel pool is the biggest and best we have seen on our journey through Italy. There are many restaurants nearby but we mostly dined at Last Terrazza as the food was the best by a long way. We would definitely recommend La Terrazza and would love to return.

We has a very large balcony with stunning views. We didn't have dinner there but had food in a few local restaurants. I would highly recommend a visit

Review 12：Our room was on the small side but I guess we picked an inexpensive one. We could hear the flush going in the rooms next to ours but that's hard to fix as hotel was probably built a good few years ago. I didn't use the spa but peeked at the area which looked a little 'tired' in décor. We would have liked more choice at breakfast especially fruit. There were plenty of cakes and croissants but a healthier type of cereal would have been a good addition.

Review 13：We had a car and the location was great as you need parking in Assisi and they gave us a token to use - at discounted hourly rate - the car park nearest to the hotel to then travel up to the town via lifts and escalators (installed in 2008! a welcome surprise since I had visited in the '90's). I booked the hotel specifically because of the swimming pool which was great on hot July days. The aircon worked well. The owner and staff were helpful and friendly.

Review 14：Lovely hotel situated just outside Assisi (ten-fifteen mins walk into the centre). Great pool with lots of places to relax in and out of the sun. Good variety at breakfast. Rooms are compact and clean. Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. If needing to stay again in the area, I would use this hotel again.

Review 15：The peace and quiet, the view from the terrace outside my room, the staff were friendly, helpful and charming and after exploring churches for hours in the baking heat the pool was extremely welcome.

Review 17：The room was very nice, basic but cosy with a lovely energy. The pool was very nice, the staff friendly. It was very close to Assisi town centre with a discount for parking in the car park of the town.

Review 18：We were not aloud another key card so the electric went off every time we left the room and the air con also went off - very uncomfortable in extreme hot weather when we returned to room. Did not like the restaurant being underground with no option to sit outside especially as the views were breath taking. The bar area was soulless and the outside area was on the paved car turn round area. Why not utilise the lawned area much more pleasant? Most of the staff were indifferent.

Review 22：The dining room lacked a bit of character being downstairs, its a shame it didn't have the views the rest of the hotel rooms had. A bit more variety with what was available for breakfast would have been nice, particularly more fresh fruit and fresh juice.

The pool area was very attractive and never over-crowded. The location of the hotel was excellent with an easy, flattish 20 minute walk into the town centre.

The location was very convenient, the rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfast was great and the pool & views excellent. Review 39：A superior double room is not how I'd describe it. Rather small and basic facilities, also very thin walls. We got there on a day of 30 degrees C and just fancied a dip in the pool, however it was covered in a filthy tarpaulin with birds drinking out of it. No idea where the spa was.

When we arrived tired and hungry in between lunch and dinner, Antonio fed us like royalty! When one in our party got sick, Antonio was kind enough to take us to a Pharmacy on a Sunday! Need I say more? They were awesome!

We didn't eat in the restaurant, which was offered at 25 Euros for a meal, but we ate at Angelo's a few hundred metres further away from Assisi. Breakfast was a cold buffet, with plenty of choice. Review 50：The swimming pool is good bad so cold, impossible to use. The air conditioner in room switch off after midnight and become impossible to sleep, too hot room. To take a shower the bath is not protect or cover and you transform all the toilette in a swimming pool. The food in restaurant comes cold and the staff is very bad humored. I request wine to an old man in the bar and this guy look at me and leave me talking alone.

Review 62：Beautiful location and lay out. Wonderful views, and lovely well kept pool, and free car parking on site. Every room has its own terrace varying in size and it is so peaceful. No complaints about the restaurant, the whole place is spotlessly clean and well maintained. It is situated just on the edge of Assissi, but it is possible to walk into the village, but if you choose to drive in then the hotel will give you a card to use in the covered car park at a greatly reduced rate. Would love to go again.

Review 64：The internet is not very fast and you have to put in 2 sets of codes few times a day- annoying but it's free The dining room is set at the basement. No view and no air. I preferred to eat lunches or dinner at a pizzeria 300 meters from there (I think Angelo was its name) No washing machine. Had to do laundry in a place in Santa Maria Maguire

Review 65：The hotel has some very nice rooms with view to the valley and some "regular" rooms. I stayed first in a regular room and once the owner had a room with view he upgraded me. The pool is very nice and useful but bring something against mosquitoes 1 KM walk to the gate of old Assisi. No need to pay for parking (although the hotel had a discount in the parking if needed) The stuff were the nicest people I met in Italy. Very welcoming and helpful

Review 66：The very large religious painting as a headboard. The poor placing of the bedside lights, and the very dim lights, we had to open the door to see the safe. I was surprised not to have fresh cut fruit and the fruit that was there was very hard.

Review 68：We had to enter the 2 long sets of numbers for wifi every time we got back to our iPad/computer. The air conditioner was rather weak and was controlled by the desk, not by us. That said, we found out we could ask for them to leave it on every night and they did.

Review 69：We loved the pool amid the olive trees, we liked the owner very much, we liked its location, only 5 minutes by car from Assisi.

Review 70：1. the breakfast is too simple. 2. room is not so clean, we found one dead bug on sofa and one on bed. 3. the bath room was a bit wired. It is not separated at all, after shower the whole toilet/bath room become wet.

Review 75：Everything about this hotel was excellent. The staff, ably led by Antonelli and Frederica, were attentive, pleasant, helpful and always surpassed expectations. The hotel was incredibly clean, well maintained, the pool was gorgeous. I was travelling with my Mother and 14 year old daughted and all of us enjoyed our stay. Antonelli was exceptional, providing us with a lift to the town, and also to some of the tourist venues around Assissi. I was 50 while I was there and the dining room staff led by Sergio made a fuss bringing a small cake a champagne after dinner that evening. My daughted is vegetarian and every effort was made to accommodate her picky eating habits.
