Reviews for Casa Al Bosco
Review 1:few final touches could have made it perfect, but it's great anyway.
Review 2:Don’t be deceived by the title agriturismu, no livestock running around etc. but it is more like a mini hotel situated on the countryside. Excellent location for exploring the wine route and southern Toscana. Great and spacious rooms, very nice pool, plus you get all the benefits and comfort of an hotel – i.e daily cleaning, very nice breakfast, etc…
Review 3:We were so happily surprised to find Casa al bosco after anotheragriturismo through bookimg.com unceremoniously dumped us for betterpaying guests. Casa al bosco was totally lovely from location toincredible breakfast to immCulate and detailed rooms to super fun pool.We ooved IT!!!!!!!!p
Review 4:The air conditioning in the room didn't work, it was very hot at night and difficult to keep cool without opening the windows. But the windows had no fly screens and so was wary about doing this. It was not possible to use the pool as it was being cleaned.
Review 5:Good location, tranquil setting.
Review 6:The breakfast, although very delicious, could vane be more diverse. WiFi in some areas of the property was poor.
Review 7:Friendly staff Great location and view If you want to have excelent dinner visit Il Greppo near by.
Review 8:altough the owners are really nice, their english is not good so we felt like there was no use asking for touring tips. location makes you have to plan ahead - it's ~10-20 minutes drive to a small town that actually has places to eat. As places close between lunch and dinner, you could end up staying hungry.
Review 9:amazing area and view outside the window. spacious room and bathroom. Beautiful decoration in every corner of the room.
Review 10:friendly staff, wonderful swimmingpool, tasty breakfast
Review 11:We are a young family with 3 kids and have stayed in this fine agriturismo located very close to Montepulciano for 5 days in May 2013. We were looking for a "base" in Southern Tuscany in order to visit the numerous villages, cities, cultural sites and other attractions at the area and... we have been pleased to the outmost possible during our stay. But lets start with the location itself first. It is quite new, has the stylish flair of an old wineyard house and is suuuuuper carefully clean maintained. The gras in the gardens is like in Wembley and a very nice pool area exists which we unfortunately could not explore as it was still a bit chilly. The facilities itself are in the best possible shape. The breakfast variety of food and the opportunity to enjoy smaller homemade italian goods as well as the personalised service of the staff in charge have been enjoyable. Please enjoy also jogging and walking across the nearby wine route. The biggest asset though of Casa Al Bosco are its people. It is a family run location in the middle of an extended vineyard with the typical landscape of Tuscany with warm and delicate staff that are rephrasing the meaning of beautiful Tuscany to its best possible shape. Thank you very much for that... The most important thing for us though has been the location. In day-trips we have been able to visit the cities/villages of Montepulciano, Cortona, Arezzo, Siena, Firenze, San Gimignano and even a day trip to the further 170 km away Rome was easily possible. The location lying in the geographical south of Tuscany is highly recommendable and away of usually overrun touristic paths. The value for money was excellent and thanks again to the team for its hospitality.
