Review 7:Value for money at £46 per night for a double room

Review 8:Limited breakfast choice

Review 9:The room with a balcony was very good value for money £46 per night.

Review 10:Slow free WiFi and available only near the reception desk

Review 11:Location. Looks new.

Review 12:wifi only on recpetion or lobby and bar on the fist floor.

Review 13:Kind stuff. Easy to find hotel. Very nice surrounding,

Review 14:The WiFi is poor.

Review 15:The building and facilities are good.

Review 16:Slow wifi only available in common areas

Review 17:Beautiful, 110 year old former school converted into a hotel. Good restaurant. Helpful and friendly staff.

Review 18:Inexperienced staff, bathroom supplies not up to standard, food very mediocre but probably matching the cost

Review 19:Interesting old style hotel which had been refurbished well, inexpensive

Review 20:Just a little to far outside the village to walk home at night.

Review 21:It was just a really classy spot in a resort that suited us because our girls were only skiing for the second time & were able to find their feet in San Vito before heading up to Cortina. Family room excellent

Review 22:Very nice historic building renovated inside. A little bit chilly room the first night, but we asked for extra blankets. Fabio from the restaurant was very nice and kind.

Review 23:Single room is more like a cell. In the beginning of January was a bit chilly inside.

Review 24:The place hotel located is awesome, views from the windows are charming, the building is very old and magnificent.

Review 25:Breakfast was not bad but was surprised that bread was stale and only good for toast as bread served in restaurants is also very good. Also cereal bowls are minute and could be slightly larger

Review 26:Building is imposing and location just 10 minutes from the centre of Cortina though during peak period major traffic jams to get back, takes nearly an hour and a half. Breakfast is minimal but adequate. Clean and comfortable rooms with large towels.

Review 27:Rooms are spartanic - very limited room for cloths, sitting etc... Driving distance from Cortina dÁmpezzo is only 10 km but takes usually more than 1 hour due to traffic jams.

Review 28:renovated old building, modern rooms and bathrooms.

Review 29:For ski holidays it takes forever to get to and from the lifts in Cortina during peak season (1 hr plus to drive 10 miles on a number of occasions) and then there is the fun of parking in Cortina. Ski area in next town very limited, but good for beginners and intermediates

Review 30:Building & views spectacular. Staff very friendly and helpful, though a lack of both English & German languages led to some confusion. Rooms spacious but basic - bathrooms better. Evening meal good value for money given the cost around Cortina.

Review 31:It was no where near where I wanted to be. The booking system told me it was 16K from ALLEGHE. When I arrived it was 52k from ALLEGHE. Very inconvenient and a huge hassle. Very unhappy. A refund is necessary from the booking system operator.

Review 32:Beautiful historic building built in 1904 and restored to the highest standard and in keeping with the original character.Excellent

Review 33:Most of the staff speaks very basic English and it is difficult to communicate properly. The breakfast is poor and offers no choice - each and every morning. On the third morning the bacon vanished from the eggs. The bread and croissants are not fresh daily. Generally it is very overpriced during holidays because of the Cortina vicinity and traditional gatherings. Internet is in the lobby only and is slow most of the time. Ski locker is LOCKED during the night and to access it in the evening and in the morning you have to ask the key at the desk !!!

Review 34:The hotel is in majestic building. The staff is friendly and cleaning is perfect. Large rooms and bathrooms - unexpected rarity for Italy :) Easy to reach by any transport and plenty of space. Great surroundings.

Review 35:Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room Location was out of the way and there was scant information about bus services and getting a taxi that wasn't very expensive was impossible. Breakfast was poor.............no fruit and nothing healthy/fresh. Service varied and coffee was awful. TV poor and internet access wasn't good. Room coould have done with an easy chair or two as sitting on teh bed all teh time was uncomfy.

Review 36:Friendliness. Eliza on Reception is EXCELLENT. Loved the bar and the old style fireplace

Review 37:Delicious food.

Review 38:Towels in the room

Review 39:Cleanliness and facilities

Review 40:Not what I expected at all. No possibility to get a bottle of water after returning late. Staff cannot speak English.

Review 41:Location with great views
