Review 4：The dommuso was charming and comfortable and convenient for exploring this beautiful island. It is managed by Maria, an Englishwoman who lives on the island. She provided us with her mobile number and was happy to advise us on where to go and what to see. We pre booked our hire car through the Residenza and Maria met us at the airport with the car. I would recommend visiting away from the peak tourist months of July and August. We enjoyed lovely weather in September. A boat trip around the island is not to be missed and you need to sample the excellent food, especially the delicious baci pantesco. The local cantinas offer tastings especially of the sweet passito wine produced on the island. The Residenza is ideal for a relaxing holiday unrestricted by set dining times and offering a lovely terrace.
