Review 1：The hotel is outdated and very run down. The photos on booking.com do not correspond to reality. Wifi almost never worked and when it did than only for a few minutes. It was impossible to relax by the pool as the children's entertainmemt took place right there, from early morning to late in the evening, and was also heard accross the whole property. The hotel does not deserve its 4 stars at all.

Review 2：As mentioned in other reviews the reception staff are extremely rude , they demanded full payment on arrival and made us feel very unwelcome saying "we did you a favour keeping your room" when we were told payment would be taken on arrival and not prior to the holiday. This was all followed by an elderly lady who we presume to be the manager coming out to shout in Italian and shake her head at us! If we were not there for a wedding we would have left the hotel there and then. There is no bar to get food or drinks from during the day and around the hotel the staff are insistent on playing extremely loud music and singing a ridiculous 'happy face' song disrupting people trying to relax. However by far the worst part of the stay of which there was several was the breakfast. Having stayed all over Europe we are no strangers to a continental breakfast but this was terrible. Cold scrambled egg, stale bread and croissants which you could wash down with warm orange juice and put hot milk on your cereal only. The breakfast was all tasteless and what is described as fresh fruit was a tray of apples with no yoghurt or other options you would expect from a breakfast at a four star hotel. It was so poor that even though it was free we choose to leave it every morning but the first of our six night stay and found plenty of lovely places to eat in Stintino.

Review 3：Comfortable rooms in a reasonable location, although would need a car to get about during the day. Good views out over the ocean and plenty of sun loungers around the pool.

Review 4：This is the 4th time I stayed there, only because il close to my relatives's house. However, since 2012 the same problems hasn't been solved: old rooms, old bathrooms, water goes from 0 degree to 100 degrees in the shower, broken telephones, old TV (not plasma), no cable TV (only 8 channels), front desk staff always confuse, old and dirty air conditioning in the rooms, Internet works only at front desk and very slow, every request took days to be answered cause of the terrible reception service and misunderstood between the hotel staff. As I said, I only stay there because is close to my relatives, but hotel MUST invest in refurbishing rooms and training the staff, specially reception.

Asked to move to what wassold to us only had one night avail for this room ... Reported tobooking com said hotel would sort - they never did. Fridge was not amini bar nor did it work properly. No Restarant at the hotel only buffetfor boarding basis really no alacarte very disappointing on this scoretoo. All in all - over rated not that nice but staff were good butmanagement poor and didn't seem to care that their marketing onbooking. Com is miss selling and represented.

Review 11：The breakfast is very good! The room was clean , we got every day new towels! Every 10-15 minutes goes transfer to the beach, to 9-13 and 15-19 !

Review 12：The hotel was much further away from the village of Stintino than we expected and was too far to walk in for an evening meal in town, I felt the room was smaller than depicted online. There was no chest of drawers to unpack clothes to and barely room to put cases on the floor. The terrace was more of a shared landing rather than a terrace and had no patio table, I felt the pool was a lot smaller than depicted in the online photos, also it strictly closed from 7pm onwards due to cleaning. We had booked the hotel for a bit of luxury at the end of our holiday in Sardinia but found the room, pool and location not as nice as we had expected.

Review 13：The staff in the bar were very friendly and the entertainment was good. The hotel complex in general was clean and bright and well laid out. We actually requested to cancel the remainder of our booking after 1 night and the hotel was very accommodating and helpful in letting us do so without financial penalty. This was very much appreciated as they were not under an obligation to do so but we were not happy there and were keen to leave. The hotel was probably perfect for families but was just not our cup of tea.

Review 14：I read the reviews & hotel facilities & thought yep it will beperfect for our special 1st Anniversary holiday jayus let me tell you Iwas very badly mistaken!!!!! I'm gonna give a straight up fronthonest review & tell you how it really is and take note I don'tleave until friday 19th June 2015 - thank god we are now out of there,and went to a real 4 star hotel in Olbia. Facilities are complete lies.The reception & whole hotel shuts down by latest midnight thereisn't a staff member to be found anywhere they only speak Italianthey do not speak other languages, the gardens are a mess there is noroom service, you can't even make a cup of tea or coffee in yourroom. The picture of the room I booked for €800 for 7 nights is fake Ireally feel like we have been robbed it upsets me it really does so yourbeing pre warned!!!! We turned up and thought no way this cannot be theCala Rosa it has the tiniest sign stuck in a manky flower bed sayingreception I walked in to be erm greeted if you can call it that by twomiserable receptionists, we were booked in and then the long walk beguntwists and turns the more we walked our level of shock increased untilwe were lead up stairs and into a dark dingy room I walked in &walked straight back down to reception to make a full blown compliant Iasked them to get a manager I then tried my best to communicate theywere false advertising 1st off no way was it a 4 star hotel at the verymost it's 2 stars and thats pushing it & I refused to accept theroom no way were we staying in there it was a simple room no outsidearea to sit, & couldn't be further from what our booking was, somanager showed us another room it was no different except we had twoplastic chairs outside & no stairs. It does make me laugh thereviews about over looking the sea.....

Review 26：I would not recommend this hotel for non Italian speaking guests. Or for travellers without transport. It is very isolated, not near bars, restaurants and shops. The internet pictures indicated it was right on a swimming beach but it was not. If you don't want to sit on a crowded beach all day there is not much else to do. The swimming pool had no shade.

Review 45：The only critisism I have was That the coffee at breakfast was very disappointing, but the hot chocolate and teas were fine. Generally I found that the coffee in Stintino was not up to the standard I'm used to in Italy.

Review 46：Beautiful grounds and a tasteful and immaculate suite with views of the sea and pool and gardens from the private terraces. Utterly peaceful, only the sounds of birds and the wind. Easy pleasant walk to the beach at La Pelosa. Excellent transfer service (£65 each way) to and from the airport.

Review 47：We were 2 in the room and instead of having a double bed we had 2 single beds pushed together, this made things very uncomfortable as during the night the beds kept separating. Also we paid an extra of 60 euros for sea view room however when we came to the room we realised the sea view was not exactly as described. Anybody who would say sea view would imagine a view from you room maybe a balcony or big windows opening to a sea view. The sea view was from our bathroom window and we had to hang out the window to sea a glimpse of the sea. Not worth the 60 euros.

Review 49：Cala Rosa hotel has double charged me for the two nights we stayed there in October 2013. When checking-in, Cala Rosa hotel receptionist asked me to pay the hotel fee in cash which I did, but when I came back home I noticed that Cala Rosa hotel has charged the hotel fees on my credit card as well. Initially I thought this is a simple mistake, but now I believe this is an indecent action taken by the person in the reception (with or without the knowledge of hotel management) for the following two reasons. 1- The circumstances when we made the cash payment and the conversation which we had with the receptionist when we arrived at the hotel was so special that it is impossible for the receptionist to forget or make a mistake, especially since we were one of two guests in the entire hotel. Moreover, I specifically asked the receptionist to charge my card but he said that the card details which I used when booking the hotel is used only to secure the booking. 2- I have tried contacting the hotel by phone and mails and asked them to provide any document indicating my approval for them to charge my card, but after 6 weeks I still have not been able to talk to the hotel management. I intend to take legal action, and I strongly recommend you to either avoid Cala Rosa hotel or be extra careful with your cash payments at the hotel.

Review 54：The rooms were cramped old dirty and in need of repair. They charged our baby 75 euros to sleep on the floor. At booking there was no option to do half board but you have no choice really but to eat in their restaurant but you need a reservation by the morning. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere you need a car. Taxi from ajrport is 90 euros. The staff at reception are so rude and in training. Child care for kids under 4 is 25 euros an hour ridiculous. There is a very annoying theme tune go up they blast out from the pool all the time. Mattress uncomfortable. Old tvs. Cramped showers. No convenience shop and severe racism if you are not italian. The beach chairs are all reserved the season so nothing closer than row 5 and no room service or drinks at the pool. Highly do not recommend this hotel. If you are 4 star breakfast should be better and room modern and it was like a campsite.

Review 56：Everything started with chek-in at registration. They said that something happened with a room for a 1 person and can only give double room for 2 person. (was lying as i found out after) We had booked separate rooms by perpose because otherwise was not acceptable, as we were not so close with other persones. Next day i have been waiting manager to solve this problem 3 hours! They insisted that no available room for this weekend. Only when i told that we are strangers they easily found 2 separate rooms. Have never met such unprofessional and lying staff. Note that it will take you a lot of time to check out or ask a question. Very big queue because of slow working staff at reception. As i noticed i was not alone who has a problems. If you want to have relax on your vacation and have a good mood - DO NOT go to this hotel. if you want make a rows half of the day and be indignant go here.

Review 58：It is really a 2 star hotel (If you are so naive as to believe that itis a 4 star hotel, come and you will be disappointed and see whith yourown eyes that it is a 2 star hotel). It seems that there are onlyitalians live in this hotel. Very few foreigners. The staff is reallyunfrendly. The room has very bed smell coming from the bathroom. Theworst thing which makes you feel very uncomfortable in this hotel is thesmell of bathroom towels, I don't know what kind of soap they use towash the towels but after you use this towel, you feel the same smell onyour body. We opened the window in the bathroom to refresh the air butit didn't help, because once you close the window the smell comesagain. We asked to change our room, they promised us to do that in themorning, but in the morning they said that it is not possible. We askedto change swimming pool towels, but they said that loundry is ran out ofclean towels, so changing swimming pool towels is not possible. Wechecked out 4 days earlier than in our reservaion and they included inour invoice extra fee of 180 eur for changing the reservation. When wetold that we are not going to pay this fee they changed the fee to 60eur (Cala Rosa obligatory Club Fee), then we told that such a big ClubFee must be shown in the web site because usually obligatory club feesare much less, after that they reduced the fee to 12 eur, which we paid.I would nobody recommend to go to this hotel unless you are italian andyou like that stile of life.

Review 59：There are lot's of plants in the garden, which is the only positivething about this hotel. For families with children (it was not our case)it would be good that in the evening they have children entertaimentprogramms. We totally disliked this hotel from the very moment ofentering our room, but the only thing why we didn't live this hotelthe next morning (stayed 3 days) is definitly beautiful Rocca RujaBeach. The white sand beach is really nice and the water is crystalclear, in the afternoon the sea becomes sky-blue which looks reallynice, though the water remains a bit cold.

Review 66：I can't believe that no one has noticed that this place has 1 star too many. They are not 4 star. They have no concept of 4 stars. No tea or coffee in the rooms. No minibar and the fridge was begging to be retired. This place is also not a hotel. Dont let that fool you either. It is more like bungalows. Our bedroom didn't have a main light. The bathroom only had a light on the mirror. The walls are made of paper. This place is for kids and they have some annoying theme song that they sing out at the pool. And they will do it over and over again. Even when it is close to midnight. The showers are so small that I could barely fit my shoulders in.
