Review 1：The service of the staff and the spacious room and comfortable bed made my stay a really enjoyable one. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Review 2：Lift had a sign saying free continental breakfast, as well as outside the cafe area, however while eating, a sticker was used to cover up the word "free". It's not free, it costs ¥800. Shame. So few hotels offer a free breakfast in Japan that this small detail would have made the hotel stand out!

Review 3：We were only in Fukuyama for a night, great location, literally a 2 minute walk across the road from the train station and right next to the castle. Free tea, coffee and soft drinks from the lobby cafe area.

Review 4：If you don't ask explicitly for a room with castle view, you will probably get one with a mere 3 metres distance to the nearest buildings. No onsen, helas.

Review 5：Good city hotel adjacent to the JR Shinkansen station, with convenient facilities and a nice view towards Fukuyama castle (if asked for). Nice staff, comfortable beds and excellent room Wifi. Rich breakfast buffet (Western & Japanese), although the breakfast hall is rather small, resembling a "Hotel Garni" standard.

Review 6：Half the rooms, East side of the building, have a solid building at 1.5 m from the windows. There are airconditioners running full out, thus open window not attractive.

Review 7：Staff is very helpful. Normally rate ok, however during golden week way to expensive, which was to be expected. West side rooms ok.

Review 8：we got room with window facing next building in less that 2m, breakfast area extremely small and getting there requires 'table booking' or waitting in line for a while, which may be an unpleasant surprise before morning train.

Review 10：Great location convenient to train station- easy to find! Great castle view! Perfect wifi! Scrumptious and varied breakfast! As advertised there is a reconstructed castle across the street from the hotel and an inari shrine nearby. However, much to our surprise, next this shrine affiliated with Fukuju Kaikan (hall), was one of the most interesting gardens that we have visited in Japan – and we have seen most of them. It features several garden viewing shelters that show Japanese craftsmanship at its best and most innovative – a true hidden treasure! We were on vacation and had a few extra days, so we returned to this hotel and used it as a base to visit Tononoeura on the coast. We were glad that we returned.
