Review 1：I make a reservation for 1 day and I met my friend to have some coffee and she escorted me to my room then 1 staff came and asked her about the ID. I really surprise why this rude behavior and i feel so embarrassed

Review 2：I like the room and the quit in the hotel

Review 3：Aside from check-in the quality of staff service was poor. There were no cleared tables at breakfast and we were told someone would clear one, but no one came back. We ended up clearing a table ourselves before someone came over and assisted with some plates and cutlery. Coffee/tea took a really long time and we had to track down a server to ask for a second cup. The pool was full by 10.30am with no beds available so we had to go to the kids pool, which was fine (although going up and down the numerous stairs was tricky with a toddler and a pram). When we wanted drinks we had to go to the adult pool bar as there was no service by the children's pool and the one barman was too busy to serve me. I waited 10-15 mins and then when I gave our drinks order and told him we were at the kids pool, he looked very confused and told me to come back in 15 mins. We gave up on getting drinks. There needed to be more than one person when the hotel was obviously busy.

Review 4：Check in staff were very good. My daughter was upset and they gave her a cuddly horse which was really kind and thoughtful. There was also an issue with our booking which they resolved quickly. The rooms are really lovely with great views and amazing bathrooms.

Review 5：Signage to the hotel is poor, couldn't make out if it was the hotel or the Grandstand in dark. Need more lighting and better signage.

Review 7：The hotel is huge and was fairly empty. With the executive lounge, we received free afternoon tea from 3-5 and free canapés and drinks from 6-8. This made our room Brilliant value at €250 per night. There was also other great benefits like free pickup and drop off to airport and a great discount in the spa. the only drawback is that the hotel is a little further away from city and there is not much around it. Taxis are cheap though. I would recommend this hotel.

Review 34：The hotel interior is tired once you pass through reception. Broken glass, cracked marble, stained ceilings, dirty carpet. There was also building work noise throughout the hotel during the day.

Review 38：I did have 3 bad experience:#1. This one concerned my safety. The vent/housing for the shower fan fell from ceiling my second day there. The fan was right above where I would have been standing, it was all metal and fell from roughly 8 feet where it should have been securely mounted in the shower ceiling. I had started the shower,stepped out to finish a text message and CRASH!!!! The metal fan vent had fallen, it was laying on the shower floor it brought down dirt and construction debris. I took pictures of the incident and told staff in the morning. I didn't make a fuss about the incident but I could have been seriously injured. There was an apology by that staff member and it was fixed immediately that day (while I was at breakfast). There was no mention of compensation for the "almost safety injury" they have no idea how bad I could have been injured if at that moment that it crashed down I hadn't stepped out of the shower for my phone.#2. Tried to take a small plate of snacks to my room, caused absolute chaos, if the head weightier had just said "it can't be taken out of the dining area because of food illness caused by Non-refrigeration" or if he had offered to have the food items (tomatoes cucumbers and fruit I think I had on the plate) delivered up to my room it would have been fine. But as I was walking out of the dining area he chased me out the dining area door "madam No No No" you can't take the food"! Then went on a long rant about all the laws governing food in Dubai and yes I could sign for the food, it must be covered and delivered by them and they encourage patrons to not take food, I never got the food. (there are no signs no disclaimers posted or stated anywhere stating no removal of food) He never got to the point of it being a food illness concern, I got that on my second encounter with him...... See below....

Review 39：Having a room that faced the horse track was amazing. The room was well appointed, really comfortable mattress, shower with 3 different head flow options and great water temp and pressure. Touch lighting was very convenient as well as the curtains being on an electric closure.

Review 44：Late to take my staff, i have been waited around 1 hour to just bring my laggage while i am doing the checkout. There is a lot of sounds happens because of some working outside ( these sounds i heared many times at everytime i book in the hotel )

Review 61：All guests were put on a single floor it seems as the rest of the hotel was empty but our floor was full. We also noticed that ALL guests were going to the same floor. I do not understand the point there as the hotel is big enough to afford more privacy. Some of the staff were not well trained and were disrespectful or unsure about the services they were offering like the valet parking.

We again refused. explaining the meaning of full board. The receptionist then agreed and gave us a new bill that we paid in a hurry, because we had been a long time dealing with the checkout process and had a plane to take. Later on we noticed that there were still 100 dirhams charged unduly, for restaurant expense.

Review 85：The location of the hotel is a bit far. No city taxies available so you either take the hotel taxi which is super expensive or call a cab. They provide shuttle service to major malls and attractions, however, it is limited ( 3- 4 times a day)

Review 100：I am a regular visitor to this hotel, but this is the first time I got disturbed by a staff member from the hotel, I had a visitor, after few minutes a staff called " lady " she asked about the ID of my visitor told her will do that when I check out " as the usual " but she insisted to send someone for the ID and her attetude wasn't a please, which made me to check out early, even when I checked out, I called to check out from my room as I always do, the same lady answered and told me you have to come to reception to check out and told her I always check out from my room, and she said I will check and call you back, " I didn't like her attetude at all because of her I didn't have a pleasant stay...

Review 109：I have chosen a non-smoking room. I have been given a smoking room infront of the offices. The reception did not direct me to the nearestlift, I had to walk to the other end then discovered the room I havebeen given is exactly above the reception. I had to go to receptionagain to change the room. The staff were ok. I received over sixmiscalls from the hotel on my mobile, they keep calling and I wassleeping. They are not communicating with each other, kept asking mewhen I am going to check out when I was actually checked out. This isnot my first stay but it was not the best comparing the previous ones.

Review 116：Although I thought it would be boring to stay in a hotel without a sea view, but incredibly it was the best hotel I've stayed in. It is a very stylish and lexurey hotel with smart and specious rooms. Although I choose the standard room with my children but I felt it was like a suite. I liked the idea of separating the iron table in a closet looks like another small room. I could even use it as a dressing room becaue it has a door and it was warm. Also, I liked that we could open the main closet when you in the bathroom too. You don't have to go outside to open your leagues. The bathtub was amaaaaaaaaazing. Very wide, lexury and with a TV. The breakfast had a lot of options, satisfied everyone. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The outdoor swimming pool is located in the roof with amazing views. The maydan itself was a breathtaking view specially because the room has a nice balcony. The mini bar has Nespresso coffee machine. Finally, the bed was so comfortable, soft sheets and great pillows. Definitely, I will recommend it for everyone.

Review 124：The location of the hotel was away from the crowd which allows for a nice feeling of isolation even though Dubai mall is 10 minutes away by car. A massive lobby area with an eleven floor high ceiling. Very efficient and relaxing room design with many lighting options. In room dining was good and quick to deliver. The gym is ok and has just enough equipment for any kind of exercise if you were a bit creative. They had these mini rolled up towels at the gym stored in a refrigerator so they were extremely cooled for use after an intense workout. Nice infini pool area with lovely sunbeds.

Review 135：This is my 3 stay at the hotel and it felt exactly like the first time. i can never have enough of the hotel, the staff are very friendly and professional, the rooms are spacious and clean and comfortable, the bathroom is very hygenic and well designed. I had a minor issue with the water flow in the shower and the lights in the room but the management was professional and kinds enough to upgrade my room to a panoramic suite. The millinium lounge is so amazing with a nice outdoor seating and nice food and drinks. The gym is well equipped. What i love about the meydan the most is how quite and relaxing the hotel is even though rooms are most of the time fully occupied. I would definitely stay at the hotel again. I recommend it to everyone!!
