Reviews for Hotel Ristoro Vagneur
Review 1:To stay here was a big pleasure. The great location, hotel, stuff and all the things here. If You want to travel to the mountains it is the best place for a stay. Great food, view and etc. Special thanks to Mr.Marco. The best hotel owner ever. The food which we have was so delicious!
Review 2:Didn't realise the drive from the highway was 1/2 hour on narrow winding road. Booked based on proximity to autostrada on map. It's 2kms away horizontally... And 1 km vertically.
Review 3:Very high in mountains w ith great view, in a desrted village
Review 4:The dining room was fully booked which says a lot about the standard of cooking! The hotel is right on a number of hiking and biking trails and is a great base. I've never seen so many butterflies as in the surrounding woodland - simply incredible (Early July).
Review 5:Return visit and it was equally as good. Stayed 4 nights and wished it was longer. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner very good. Beautiful location. Would highly recommend staying here
Review 6:Back to the road, the steep decline was a bit scary since our car did not have snow tires.
Review 7:I strongly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in quiet location with stunning views. The owner was very attentive and helpful when we need tourist information. Regional cuisine is another positive feature of the hostel.
Review 8:Fantastic food, welcoming staff, amazing value.
Review 9:Furniture is quite old.
Review 10:Excellent dinner menu.
Review 11:Room was very basic and you needed to go on a serious diet if you are going to get in the shower
Review 12:The location was spectacular - views are amazing. The owner was friendly (but slow). The accomodation was reasonably priced and breakfast was good. Plenty of walkers were there (not us) who seemed to be being provided with a packed lunch before setting out for the day. We didn't book dinner as we had no idea how late we would arrive, but plenty of guests were eating there.
Review 13:One detail: only one wired internet connection at the reception available to guests, wifi would be more convenient.
Review 14:The food was most delicious of food at any other hotel or restaurant we tried, prepared individually for guest preferences. All other aspects were fulfilled.
Review 15:small room, no hot water and this is really big disadvantage
Review 16:Great location, charming views on the Alps, good restaurant (especially the Alpine soup was great), hospitable owner
Review 17:Nothing all good
Review 18:Fantastic host went out of his way to prepare beautiful food even though we hadn't let the hotel know we were vegetarian. The view was stunning as was the location. Breakfast was also excellent a wide choice. All the staff were also excellent. We were sorry to leave and it was the best hotel we had stayed in for many a long while thoroughly recommended
Review 19:Very friendly staff, especially the owner who really cares about you and your comfort. This hotel also has his own restorant with the view to the mountains. Food regional, but served very well. Very breath taking mountain view around the hotel, don't even need to go far away. Very good footpaths around for those who fancy walks in the mountains. Rooms small, but comfortable and clean. This hotel is perfect for those who want to relax at the top of mountains or for those who appreciate the mountains walks and don't want to go far away from the stay place. If we will have possibility, we definitely return there.
Review 20:Some people might like a mini-bar or TV in the room - I didn't miss them myself. I would have liked tea/coffee making facilities. The water did not get hot so I could not take a shower.
Review 21:The views from the hotel are wonderful. There are excellent, well marked walking trails. The owner is very attentive and friendly. The food was very good, and so was the wine. The cost was very reasonable. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. This was my second visit and I will be going again. I very much recommend the hotel to anybody who wants to walk amongst beautiful scenery.
Review 22:You need a car to go there and be aware that the road is going deep in the mountains.
Review 23:I am seduced by the hotel and its team. If you are a couple, willing to spend great time in the region, book this hotel with a room having a sight on the mountains. It costs a bit more but it is certainly worth doing it. Spend the night in the restaurant of the hotel too, it will be a great experience. My girlfriend and I were so happy about ouf first night there that we canceled a reservation in another hotel just to spend one additional night in this one. Just great.
Review 24:Narrow mountain road to get to the hotel. In winter you'llproblably need chains or perhaps get trapped in the tiny village ifit's snowy.
Review 25:Tranquility, friendly stuff, good breakfast
Review 26:The hotel is 20 kms uphill and I know because i counted every metre! I used to be so afraid of the curves which can be quite slippery with ice. that is all that bothered me, otherwise it was as I had read in the previous reviews:-)
Review 27:The hotel was lovely and cozy while outside was freezing in January! the owner was always available and helpful and even though there were some hiccups during our stay, like when the boiler was not working properly, prompt action was taken and adjustments were made. We were also ill during our stay and Marco was very helpful. I would recomend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay away from chaos of the city, and want to have early romantic nights in warm clean beds...
Review 28:Great location. The local cheese soup you eat with a fork really tasty. Friendly and helpful.
Review 29:very friendly owner and staff, wonderful breakfast, fantastic location for breath-taking mountain views at 1700 metres
Review 30:Spectacular mountain view, interesting hiking trails, cozy village, friendly staff
Review 31:This place is the perfect one to escape and relax. The owner and each person working there is really friendly and personally take good care of you.
Review 32:The food, the staff
Review 33:Great panoramic views from hotel room. Very friendly atmosphere.
Review 34:friendly staff, great food
