Reviews for Hotel Saint Nicolas

Review 1:The attitude of the owners who do their best to make people feel bad and says after the death of a vistor, he feels he should not allow any extra thing such as drinking wine (unless in his restaurant) or having a pill in his hotel. He only smiles when he sees 'Euros'.. He even over charged us for wine. The wine orderered was not available and he brought another one which he said was of the same price and quality. In the morn we found we were charged 50% more. Moreover, The heating is switched off after nine pm ie when you return to the room after a day of exercusion in the cold and dinner. Heating is switched on just between 6pm and 9pm, even though we complained . Otherwise the room is big with a nice bathroom .

Review 2:The staff especially the receptionist did her best to make us feel comfortable after the unwelcome we received from the owner on arrival from him and later his wife, when we found the room cold on arrival at 9.00 pm.

Review 3:Excellent value for money. Delicious meals in the restaurant (if you want antipasti for your evening meal, don't forget to order them in advance). Comfy and clean, nicely designed rooms. Mountain views, And a great oportunity to feel a real Italian atmosphere.

Review 4:Great value for money. Friendly caring staff. Great food. Picturesque location. However you must have a car to get to this location. Don't challenge Robert to a game on the fussball table as he is a pro. Would definitely stay there again. Had a great time

Review 5:It would be very welcome WIFI on the rooms, it's only available on common areas. The staff could improve a bit the English.

Review 6:The staff was very friendly and very very helpful, given us good tips and information to visit places near the hotel and managed a closed parking for my motorcycle. The food was quite good. A hotel to visit without a doubt.

Review 7:Every thing in the hotel needs an upgrade. Old beds damaged balcony old bathroom

Review 8:Manager is like Kimi Raikonnen you really do not know if he is happy, sad or angry. Other staff was good also loved our baby But good for one night

Review 9:neon light in the room, the bed had the springs almost broken, the menu hadn't any vegetarian option and the "salad" buffet had a lot of dishes with meat

Review 10:big room

Review 11:Way to hotel is very bad and dangerous. It is not like on the map. No market around at all. Heating stoped by hotel manager at 22.00 pm where it was 3 degrees outside. We caugth cold

Review 12:Not too much

Review 13:Wi-fi worked only in the lobby.

Review 14:The hotel is situated in the hills a bit outside Aosta. The views are pleasant and the air is fresh. We felt very welcome there. The owners prepared pizza for us when we arrived late in the evening despite that the fact that the hotel restaurant was already closed. Our room was very spacious with some rather old furniture and had a big balcony. We also enjoyed our Italian-style breakfast that consisted of very tasty home-made pies, croissants and meringues! Of course there was a toaster for those who need ham and cheese with toasted bread but I strongly recommend to try their sweet meals instead.
