Review 3：Room was damp, front reception desk often unattended. when i booked with booking.com. website page displayed Only 2 rooms left Hurry book now. This was not true we were the only people Staying at hotel !!!

Review 5：Warning.... Don't book this hotel.We booked a room in october but there was NO hot water!!! To save money, the Hotel owner, turned the boiler thermostat down to “min”! So we could not use the shower because the water was too cold!

It was our wedding anniversary and our room came with sparkling wine and grapes, then we got moved to the front rooms with the most beautiful views to wake up to each day. It was a large room, clean and had everything you need. The balcony was great to sit and watch everyone go by and have an afternoon 'aperativo'. The gentleman at front desk couldn't have been more helpful and we appreciated it. This hotel and Otranto are both beautiful and I hope I get to go back one day.

Review 9：We stayed in double room no 2. It had a balcony and faced east to thesea. The location was perfect. We looked onto a broad beachsidepromenade, which had people walking up and down all the time. We feltpart of the town, the whole time we stayed there. It was 2 mins walkthrough the town park to the old town. The promenade continued all alongthis area and widened into a large piazza. The restaurant at theentrance to the castle is very good, and incredible value. Also try thevery full l altro Baffo, more expensive. A drive down the coast to CapoSanto Maria di Leuca with many stops is worthwhile.

Review 12：A modern hotel. Rooms clean and functional. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was fine and boiled eggs done to perfection! Good position overlooking the lovely harbour. And Otranto a very beautiful town, with some white sandy beach too, and an ideal position from which to explore the southern part of Puglia.

Review 14：Really friendly and helpful staff. Located right on the seafront across the road from the beach. Good restaurant, although a wider choice of dishes could improve it further. Breakfast was excellent. Free parking but 300 metres away from hotel.

Review 16：The hotel had a perfect location in the center of the city near beach and the old town. Despite this there was very little traffic and no disturbing noice around the hotel. Free parking 400 meter away was no problem. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the restaurant was excellent including a fantastic breakfast. The room was clean and had all we needed. Otranto was also a very quiet and pleasant city with beautiful surroundings and beaches that could easily be be reached by car.

Review 20：Located in the city center. There is a public beach ~2km away from the hotel and accessible by bus. Walkable distance from the old city, a nice place for tourism and dinner. The guestroom is wonderful, considering the price.

Wehad room with side view (not seaside) and it was very noisy, we hadclose door not to hear cars and opposite road shops and bars. Ratiobetween price and value is not good enough for us but Otranto isexepnsive place anyway.

Review 23：You cant park your car close to the hotel as it is in the pedestrian area. It is problem to carry luggages to and from the hotel. There should be an exception for the customers of the hotel..

Review 27：The Profumo de Mare has the best location in town, and we were assigned the best room, with a wrap around balcony. The staff were very friendly. And the hotel has a good restaurant on the first floor, which also serves as the breakfast room, with a great view of the sea.

I visited the hotel in late April.Got a parking card for free from the hotel for parking near. Very nicelocation. The hotels has a restaurant. Did only visit it for breakfast.Good Cappuccino.

The young ladyreceptionist spent time for us phoning around until she found somewherefor us to eat, this was done without us even needing to request suchhelp. Well done!
