Review 1：We arrived very late to the resort as we were traveling from france and was very foggy ( nebbia ). But the polite staff got us food and drink from the bar at 10:30pm!!!! So many thanks to the reception ladies!!!! We only stayed the 1 night which was such a shame because this place is huge with vineyards, restaurants etc. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and very clean with 4 poster bed sizes which were huge. Heavy fog the next morning meant we couldn't see the beautiful view from our balconies!!!!! The breakfast was lovely with a large selection of local produce. All in all a perfect 1 night stay and wished we could of stayed much longer. I'll be back next year and buy a couple of bottles of there vino!!!!!

Review 6：Beautiful, new property overlooking valley and vineyards. Lovely room with terrace, good restaurant, all amenities. Wished we had arrived earlier in the day to use the spa. Staff very accommodating. Would be a great stop for a relaxing break from a busy trip or a day trip from Rome.

Review 7：Secluded yet close to places we wanted to visit. Wonderful spa !! You are also surrounded by olive groves and a beautiful vineyards. The olive oil was used in the restaurant and so was the wine

Review 8：The resort was beautiful and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great with a good selection. Orvieto town is a must see we spent a day exploring there and had an excellent time. There are some great restaurants there too .

Review 9：A very minor point: lighting in restaurant at night was very bright. Also, when tour group ate dinner in restaurant and not outside, noise was way too loud as low ceiilngs caused voices to reverberate. Not an issue when warmer nights and everyone outside on patio..

Review 10：Very beautiful, lovely views and well located: in countryside yet close to Orvieto. Need a car but not a long or difficult drive to town...Spa a real treat...modern and very clean/well maintained.

Review 17：This is a beautiful modern hotel. Great beds and lots of room and beautiful views of Orvieto. We loved the pool and the spa and wish we would have had more than one night. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and you must get the local pasta. It was one of our favorite pastas of our trip!

Review 18：The breakfast buffé was a disappointment. With a hotel restaurant nominated by guida micheline you'd aspect more of a quality breakfast. Low budget choises of industrial jams. Bread, yoghurt, juices, butter, ham and so on. No bad in al but still no quality products and defenitely not bio. The cakes for thoes who like sweets where at leaste homemade thou a bit dry.

Review 23：In the restaurant the food presentation was good, however we had been seated for 1 hour before any staff brought us water and/or bread. Wait staff was very slow to our requests. Dinner took more than 21/2 hours and waitstaff and or manager were absent for long periods; no one ever asked if the courses were to our liking! Our check had numerous errors that had to be corrected the next day at checkout. Loved the hotel but restaurant service leaves a lot to be desired. In addition families with babies cried for 2 hours!

Review 38：No information was given to us when we arrived on the area or the spa/wine tasting facilities on site. Extremely slow service in restaurant on our last night, 4 or 5 waiters stood around and checking on other tables whilst we had to wait for our "official" waiter to turn up some 15 minutes later. Despite advising the waiter I was vegetarian the complimentary appetiser that appeared five minutes later was a meat dish, they did replace it but ten minutes later by which time I had told my partner to start without me as I wasn't sure I was getting anything at all. Also no apperitif given to us this evening like every other evening, few small things really but a Little disappointing for our last night as service up til this point at the restaurant had been excellent.

Review 43：Fabulous country retreat in wonderful surroundings. Could have stayed longer. Stylish room and public areas. Great pools and spa. Really good restaurant, which is important as it is not really practical to drive to Orvieto. Follow the directions when driving to resort! Ask for room in main building if you have a problem walking hills.

Review 45：The views from the property are fantastic and this is a great place to spend a couple of days on your way between Florence and Rome. We rented an apartment, which came equipped with a kitchen.

Review 55：The only bad experience was finding it. Do make sure you've got clear & precise route guidance before you go there. Our SatNav tried to take us cross-country. But it is REALLY worth it when you arrive. Small criticism - breakfast choice rather limited, but otherwise good.

Review 58：The room was ok (smallest one). The bathroom was lovely with a very nice shower. The swimming pools and terraces look inviting (we did not use it unfortunately). The restaurant serves lovely food, the prices are slightly high. Orvieto, the railway station and the highway are nearby. Car is needed though.

Review 65：Orvieto itself is beautiful, but the view from the resort is not of Orvieto itself, but rather of the hills to the west of Orvieto, so don't fall for the marketing hype that the resort overlooks Orvieto, which is one of the most spectacular Umbrian fortified towns.

Review 68：When we checked out the receptionist printed our bill incorrectly and overcharged us for a spa visit and the room itself. A surprise given how perfect everything else had been. Simple way around it is to always ask for receipts for the restaurant and the spa so you can keep track yourself.

Review 69：Wow. Set on a gorgeous vineyard just outside of Orvieto we arrived into the stunning property. Allowed to check in slightly early we were taken aback at the state of the facilities and the room itself. Lush! So nice. Comfy bed. Large bathroom. We took advantage of the free thermal baths, indoor pool and sauna and booked two massages in for the afternoon. We ate both lunch and dinner in the Altarocca restaurant where the food was so lovely, but slow coming out. We spent some in the gym - good spin bike. But not so good treadmill! Breakfast was lovely the next day. We really enjoyed our stay but definitely broke the travel budget while staying there as we couldn't help but enjoy all there was to offer. We felt no need to go into Orvieto itself.

Review 72：Loved the room and the facilities. We couldn't quite tell from the pictures online how it would be, but it was very nice. We had rooms above the reception area with balcony's looking out at Orvieto. Very nice spa and pools. Didn't have enough time to use them all. I would definitely stay here again and even for a longer time to relax and use the spa and make a home base out of it for days trips. We loved the place.

Review 73：We were in room Batonage and it was just ok. I am in marketing and it is always best to upgrade your guest when you can. As the resort was not full it would have been an easy way to "wow" us - and as you know word of mouth is the best form of advertising! The front desk could have been friendlier too.

Review 82：The entire staff from reception to cleaning, banquet and restaurant was extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The property itself is gorgeous as well as the accommodations, modern, clean and adapted for short term living. Outside, there are fresh aromatic herbs and flowers everywhere, plenty of space and tranquility for all. The restaurant food was delicious. Definitely a place I would return to and recommend to friends.

Review 83：This place was so amazing. Our rooms had the most amazing views of the countryside, vineyards, and pool. The pool was beautiful and it has a bar with food and drinks that were cheap. My family couldn't believe how beautiful the place was. It is also a 15 minute cab ride from the beautiful medieval town of Orvieto. The staff was great, especially Sofia. Sofia helped us with everything, she answered all of our questions and I wish we could have brought her on the rest of the trip with us. Truly amazing place!

Review 84：We ate at the restaurant on an evening they were catering for a large function and found the foot to be poorly presented and were disappointed with the quality and seasoning of one main course. This was however redeemed on the following evening when the meal was excellent. The access roads to the premises are also slightly precarious.
