Review 1：Beautiful hotel, pristine pool and views. Ever so helpful staff. Real family atmosphere, nothing a problem. The hotel is beautiful with traditional Eolian room decor, much better than a theme-park hotel. The location is beautiful overlooking Stromboli, Lipara and Panarea. Wine and beer available on premises so you may never leave the pool. Breakfast good, wi fi excellent.

Review 3：It is a beautiful property, amazing views, very well cared for, flowers everywhere and well maintained, which is definitely not standard in Sicily. Swimming pool is pleasant, room a bit dark, but we loved the hammock on the terrace! Breakfast is typical Sicilian, with only sweet things, but the cake was delicious and there was always fresh fruit, like watermelon or figs. Location is a few steps away from the center, still super close though and nice and quiet. Santa Marina is a very nice city!
Review 4：This place has the most stunning view. The pool is pristine and the buildings are gorgeous too. It's all kept very clean, breakfast everyday includes home baked cakes and biscuits! The staff are very helpful qand friendly.

Review 8：The only thing we would have liked to see improved was the wifi signal; because of the location of our room in particular (superior room located on the outside of the main hotel building), the signal was very weak. Not a major concern though, as we were on vacation anyway. The wifi was perfect throughout the rest of the property. A signal extender would fix the problem, rather than having multiple different connections throughout the building.
Review 9：The hotel was very relaxed and comfortable, with a stunning view of the sea from our room and from the common areas. The facilities were very clean and neatly-maintained. Arcangelo was a great host, he upgraded us to a superior room, with its own entrance and terrace. It was lovely to feel like we had a whole villa to ourselves for the few days we were there. Overall fantastic stay, great value for money, and we would highly recommend Hotel Arcangelo to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Salina. Erik and Vicky
Review 10：Staff were lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Close to everything necessary, and in a quiet area. Lovely swimming pool, and breakfast. We had an upstairs room with outside terrace and kitchen facilities on the terrace. Older type décor, but very clean and adequate.

Review 13：This is an amazing place! The staff were wonderful, cheerful and welcoming, creating almost a family atmosphere, like being welcomed to a home away from home. They were very helpful with advise on what to do and where to go. The room was beautiful, spacious,bright and very clean with a balcony where you can lie an a hammock wand gaze out across the top of the church and watch the sunset over the sea. Breakfast was the very best though, fresh croissants and homemade tarts and coffee cake still warm from the oven! Amazing and so delicious! They even wrapped a few slices up for me to take when I left.

Review 17：The views were spectacular even from my window, my room was pretty and stenciled, the floors were gorgeous tiles, bath clean and roomy, good breakfast and they went out of their way to send us off with food as we left very early. Great pool, much needed.
Review 18：Very good location, close to the port and to the bus station. The place is beautiful and quite, the pool is clean and the room was quite large and clean as well. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Italy, with fresh baked pastery every morning. The manager is a very nice and kind person, always willing to help. The island itself is spectacular, some landscapes are absolutely breathtaking , it should be added to the bucket list of everyone. We do recommend visiting it and Hotel Arcangelo too.

Review 21：We stayed in the private room. Mr. Arcangelo was very nice to give us this room at a discount. He made us feel very welcome and his staff were friendly as well. The pool was cool and clean and felt nice on the feet. The views of the sea where amazing. The room had nice air conditioning and the bed was comfortable. There was a fair breakfast that included cereal and breads of different types. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.
Review 22：I have arthritis and the hill getting there was tough for me\ but good exercise I guess !! Some confusion about the bill as I thought I had already paid first nite when I booked.
Review 23：It was attractive, the floor tiles were beautiful, it was the best bathroom and shower we had touring Italy. We used the pool and it was clean and refreshing. Breakfast was good and they went the extra mile when we had to check out early am. Like the stenciling in our room also. Staff was friendly helpful and pleasant.

Of course if you don't like having an expansive water view while looking left to see Stromboli and right to see Etna this might not be the place for you. The swimming pool was perfect for a dip at the end of the day and the breakfasts included special gluten-free provisions (I have celiac) for me that were so tasty. A most welcoming and relaxing place with a top-notch staff.
Review 42：Let me start by the view; tremendous from virtually all areas. The kind and subtle attention given by the owner's Snr. Arcangelo, and his lovely wife, Tita, was unsurpassed. Room, terrazzo, and breakfast were worth merit. It was a sublime visit to Santa Marina, but the hosts at the Arcangelo only added to a memorable stay.

Review 45：The amazing photographs can only say so much about this beautiful, peaceful hotel located on the lower slopes of the island of Salina. Every day that I met the hotel owners Arcangelo and his partner Tata I was met with a warm and friendly greeting, like coming home to a family house rather than a hotel. Arcangelo is a big, friendly bear of a guy with a huge smile and a firm handshake. Tata is the consummate hostess who bakes fresh cake every morning as part of the plentiful breakfast. The morning coffee service is very good, too. The staff have the same professional manner, and if you want to engage in conversation they'll be happy to talk about Salina, Sicily and whatever interests you. I rented a basic double room but it was beautifully fitted with cool, blue tiles and dark wood furniture. It was nice to have such a spacious en-suite shower room with a reliable hot-water supply – something that can vary in some Italian bed and breakfast accommodation. The swimming pool is a real luxury after a hot day exploring the island, a perfect place to swim, relax and admire the dramatic tree-covered hills behind you, or the view out across the wide blue sea of the island of Lipari. There's so much to see on the island it's a challenge to sit still. If I come back to Salina, I'll be staying here again.
