Reviews for Seven Hills Village

Review 1:It's in the middle of the nature, at the periphery, so it's not overcrowded. The house was simple and clean, also the bathroom too. It's a good value for money!

Review 2:It was unclean we got bitten we only stayed one night because we had to as it was late but it's was an Awful place to stay in, pictures on the website are wrong it doesn't look like it at all we actually was supposed to stay in a cabin thing but it was so small and in a very dark woods and you couldn't even see the door due to trees hanging over it so that why we had to pay and extra £40 per night got a bungalow which is the photos I've put up it was just as bad specially with all the main electric underneath the sink

Review 3:Nothing at all, it wasn't s safe place to even stay in it had all the electric underneath the sink which is a fire hazard

Review 4:Our room was damp and smelled muggy like mold. Furthermore, it was not clean at all and had black mold on the walls and we believe inside the walls. The overwhelming smell came from within the bathroom and filled the entire place. We tried to air out for 2 days but couldn't. The wifi for the whole village was down so we could not even plan out next day. Breakfast here is pretty nonexistent. There are only a poor selection of brioches to eat for breakfast. The kitchen is sad. It is not a kitchen. We had a camping stove and dirty dishes and mini fridge. The bed was fine but the room felt uncomfortable so it was hard to sleep. The shuttle bus to the train station is hot as hell and the driver does not even speak. We waited at the train station next to the shuttle and he just watched us as we were unsure if we were even at the right place. Even the shower was grimy in between the tiles. Of 4 hotels in Europe (2 in Italy), this was the only bad experience. We are not picky, travel light, and don't need much, but this place did not deliver any comfort. It was embarrassing.

Review 5:This is 1 of 4 hotels we stayed at in Europe and by far the worst. It is part of a village of lots of travelers so it's convenient to get wine, pizza, and coffee very close to you.

Review 6:The shuttle bus works daly between 8-21 o'clock (it turnes to the railway station in each 30 minutes), after that you can't reach the camping with public transport. The bus driver sometimes left the meeting point some minutes earlier then it should be...

Review 7:We stayed in a double-bed-room with public bath. The room and the bath/toilets were clean and the stuff was really-really nice and helpful, except of the bus-driver. The room was really small, but we didn't expect anything else. The WiFi worked only near to the reception and to the bar.

Review 8:it takes 1-1,5 hours to get to the city the last transfer bus from the train station leaves at 9 pm, so you have to get back there until that, otherwise you have to walk (~2km on the road, no pavement)

Review 9:Very dated, Camping shop has a very small assortment not enough to actually self cater.

Review 10:The restaurant and the swimming pool, the staff were friendly. The location is fairly ok to get to Rome.

Review 11:Wifi is overloaded every evening/night where those Contiki tourist are partying. We could not connect to the internet when all of them (40-50 persons) were around the public areas (bar, disco) at the same time. :(

Review 12:Nice environment, staff is kind and helpful. Clean room, bed and sheets. Toilet and shower are cleaned every morning- very good point! Transfer bus is great! It was very hard to leave this place!

Review 13:The beds could be more comfortable.

Review 14:Our room was clean when we arrived in the evening ours. The wifi doesn't work around the rooms, but only around the bar areas and the reception. The staff is fab. The staff of the il corvo restaurant are very nice, they do everything to keep you comfortable. The shuttle they have from and to the village is so nice. It was a pleasure for us to stay here and to see al around rome..

Review 15:Very important - do NOT use the train from Flaminia station to reach La Giustiniana because that it is a different place, far from the actual Seven Hills Village resort location. Use instead ONLY the train leaving from Valle Aurelia station. It goes in a station with same name La Giustiniana, the good one. There comes the shuttle bus from the property and pick you up to the Seven Hills.

Review 16:The place is extraordinary and familiar in the same time

Review 17:The staff are not very helpful and dont seem to care about the guests, the lighting on the stairs is very poor at night which could lead to accidents

Review 18:Great value for money, everything is clean and good facilities

Review 19:I would never change this place to some fancy hotel. the Campsite is clean and safe, the bed is comfortable, wi-fi is working in the main restaurant very well. Also there is a shuttle bus which takes you to the station. I found even market not so far away, so to sum up- very good place to rest and enjoy Rome.

Review 20:The camping village personnel owes it to guests to inform them that the camp is inaccessible after 21:00 at night. My flight arrived at 21:00 from Athens, I ended up sleeping outside the train station as I had no way to reach the village, trains stop running from the Rome city centre at 21:00, this is a very important piece of information which travellers/guests should be informed of beforehand. There was no wifi in the rooms, this is also a huge inconvenience.

Review 21:The privacy, affordable supermarket on premises, restaurant and disco

Review 22:bungalows are bad quality, you can hear when neighbours talking, snoring really anoying for sleeping, cant imagin what is like at high season

Review 23:nice camp staff is friendly and helpful

Review 24:Rowdy teenagers one night out of seven kept me awake. Wireless very slow when lots of people gathered in the evening.

Review 25:Excellent value. Can't really fault for the price. Quiet most of the time.

Review 26:The rooms are really small. You don't have space to walk in the room. Mostly, to go from um side of the bed to the other, I use to pass by above the bed, if my partner were in the way. Also to go to bathroom at night is discomfortable because it not very close to the rooms.

Review 27:The price is for sure the most attractive of it. But the location is not that good. However it is compensated with the existence of the restaurant and a small market inside the place.

Review 28:There's no kitchen, no fridge in the house, no spoon, fork, knives, so you can't get your breakfest in your little house or let your drinks stay cold. The parkpass is not friendly. Without a pass you can't buy anything at the park There are no seats you can place around your little house, so you can't get sitting in the sunshine

Review 29:The natural environment The little houses let me think about Africa, very nice

Review 30:Full of annoying contiki travellers who all wear I love roma tops and spend all the time at the bar The cabin was absolutely boiling and couldn't open windows due to mozzys Had to use a cashless system, pay for a card that you reload

Review 31:Very cheap Laundry service Restaurant on site Fairly easy transport (1 train ride to Vatican City)

Review 32:Very small cabin. Cabins very close to each other, not much privacy. Lot of noisy teenagers, though that did not bother too much, in the cabins it was quiet enough. No tables and chairs in front of the cabins. No place for barbeque. No frigde in the basic cabin.

Review 33:Nice pool and pool bar (the pool costs 3 euros/day though). Nice and helpfull personell. Shuttle to train station made it easy to go to other places (to the supermarket in the village of La Giustiniana, Rome and Bracciano which I recommend, there is a nice Vulcanic lake there and a medieval town.) Had a good sleep. Good food in the restaurant. All in all, quite good value for money.

Review 34:There is no store near here so you have to use the market that they have. The prices were a bit high for the quality of food you were getting. If you want to get to bed early bring earplugs! Every night there was a new contiki group that had a party at the disco. They were very loud even past the quiet hour and the staff didn't do anything. Once my girlfriend got earplugs though she was fine.

Review 35:The value for money was great! We got our own tiny bungalow which was so much nicer then the tents at other camping places. The showers were always hot no matter how long you took them for.

Review 36:Clean, warm, cheap. Staff excellent and helpful

Review 37:The bed was too hard and that we only had wifi on a few locations of the property.

Review 38:The staff was really friendly. Property was big and nice.

Review 39:Beautiful and cheap!

Review 40:staff, pool,

Review 41:Wifi doesnt work in rooms. There is one socket in our room. No light among the bungalows..

Review 42:Best price for Rome. It's 30-35minutes to Spagna

Review 43:The wifi is so bad

Review 44:Very kind and helpful receptionist

Review 45:The smell in the room Location isn't very accessible

Review 46:Excellent value for the money

Review 47:Inside were a lot of bed bugs!

Review 48:Nothing Special

Review 49:The Place

Review 50:Nooisy during the night: parties until late

Review 51:Better: low price and correct services. Good connection with Roma by train

Review 52:I loved the environment, the people who worked there were very nice, loved the swimming pool.

Review 53:Extra paid pool

Review 54:Very good communication with Rome (free bus to the railway), tasty pizza on-site

Review 55:You have to pay to access the pool

Review 56:Wildwde and stakehouse Resturant

Review 57:Accommodation without air condition.

Review 58:Beautiful place, large, near to Roma, unbelievable price (7,5 €/person / night in July).

Review 59:The free wifi is not available in rooms. The hotel is quiet far from the city.

Review 60:The ambiance and the location.

Review 61:Best pizza in the Rome! The price per night is extremely good! The location is pretty fine.

Review 62:Nice camp, amazing place, good price.

Review 63:All was good!))))

Review 64:bed (mattress) need change

Review 65:amazing place - a good opportunity for anyone that need relax and avoid city crowd

Review 66:some kinds ofsmall insects.....communication problem in English with

Review 67:nature of the place

Review 68:Bathroom very old and dirty few options for breakfast Too fair away from the city centre

Review 69:Pool Restaurant Staff

Review 70:Wonderful

Review 71:Its a really bit far but they have a route the bad thing if that the route its until 9pm and if you get out of time you need to walk a looottttt to get there

Review 72:El lugar como tal es muy bonito. The place is very beautiful and clean

Review 73:the location is unsafe neighbourhood and very dirty for the tourist. This business is just concentrated for young people who don´t mind anything such like clean, location, security and services.

Review 74:The reception is friendly, they try to do all possible for a good service.

Review 75:If some of the furniture is broken at the room inform reception about it immediately otherwise you need to any for everything.

Review 76:Good place for a young people, delicious food at the restaurant.

Review 77:We like very kind staff at S.H.Village and everything there. Amazed by people we met and your beautiful country. Thank you very much! Miss Italy already!

Review 78:Wifi was only at a small spot, there was only lukewarm water in the showers despite of the described "hot water", the toilets weren't clean.

Review 79:It was the cheapest accomodation in rome, and the parking was free for motorbikes

Review 80:It was cold and there was not enough blankets for us, it took the staff a while to get more and we were waiting outside. The bungalow was really small, beds had bed bugs and the kitchen was only a sink. The owner of the restaurant inside (great food), was smoking even though there were signs all over the place not allowing to smoke. Really disrespectful.

Review 81:There is a nice restaurant inside. It is cheap.

Review 82:Not good for young babies as It was very cold. Sheets were heavily soiled so much so that my partner refused to stay a second night.

Review 83:Very helpful staff

Review 84:The fact that you have to buy everything by card, for example, one nightI really wanted to buy some drinks late at night at the resident disco, but I couldn't simply because I had no money in my camping card andreception was closed.

Review 85:The staff was excellent, including the drivers.

Review 86:The fact that it is far away from Rome center is a bit of a pain to travel and that the shuttle service only works till 8.30. Also the wi-fi was not always usable especially in the apartment area.

Review 87:The facilities are nice. It is also pleasant at night with all the trees and beautiful scenery also very quite and relaxing at night.

Review 88:It is very difficult to get there for a tourist visiting Rome for the first time and my daughter and I stressed quite a lot until we got there. I think the location on their ad is a bit misleading to anyone who is visiting Rome for the first time. It is far from the city.

Review 89:I am not a camper - but did like the set up of the site and we had a cabin - although very tiny was adequate for our needs.

Review 90:Such a wonderful stay at the Seven Hill Tourist Village from start to finish! The shuttle service that picked us up from the train station was quick and the driver was really friendly. Once we got to the village we were amazed by the lush surrounding. The area was well maintained with flowers growing everywhere. Our room was a cute cabin that was clean and cosy. That night we ate at one of the restaurants located within the Village. It was very busy but we were seated within 10 minutes. Most delicious steak I have ever eaten!! Such a wonder treat. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and knew exactly what to recommend when we wanted to go into ROme. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone that wanted to visit Rome and feel like they were staying in a home, rather than a hotel. If I return to Rome I'll go back to stay there again and for a longer stay!

Review 91:We had very noisy morning cause of other people with motorcycles. They where starting motorcycles early in the morning and no insulation in the houses let us hear everything on very high level.

Review 92:Great place for those who doesn't expect luxury apartments, we had great time there, just bedroom is so small, so more than couple of days wouldt be comfortable.

Review 93:The night receptionist was unhelpful. After being pick pocketed in Rome and locked out of the hotel room, he just went home rather than doing anything about it. The emergency night guard didn't speak English.

Review 94:The pool was lovely, and the bar staff were friendly and chatty. The food at the restaurant on site was great.

Review 95:A little bit far from the center.

Review 96:We had the apartment, it was really nice! Amazing resort-styled with nice garden. Kitchen was fully equipped. The room was spacious and very comfortable.

Review 97:- Location: Although we stayed in other Camping villages around Rome before, this one was the least favorite when it comes to location. It's really far from the station and there's a bus free of charge that takes you there. For returning in the evening we were told that the bus runs only until 8pm. We were at the station on time and no bus ever came. It's a remote place so no taxi around eaither. We had to walk (around 2k) back to the Village. Fun when travelling with friends, not so fun when your parents are there and can't walk long distances. - Pool was out of order - not working during our stay :(

Review 98:- Friendly staff at arrival - Nice clean apartment for a family of 4 - Quiet and confortable for a long needed rest after a long trip. - good value for money.

Review 99:Having no wifi in my room.

Review 100:The bar tender was very ginuene and very outgoing. He definitely is one of the best bar tenders I've met because he was very friendly.

Review 101:The internet was very spotty, or downright non-functional at times, andwe needed to book lodging for our next destination.... Other than that,it was a fair deal all-around.

Review 102:Excellent value for money. We stayed in one of the twin cabins, and itwas pretty clean except for a few ants here and there. Staff wasreasonably helpful. The food and drink at the market and cafe were nicequality and decently priced. If you get the camp card for purchases, theunspent money is refunded at the end of your stay, so it isn't a baddeal. The showers were great- lots of hot water! The location was fine, once you figure out how to get into town- if you don't mind walkinga little bit, the train goes right to the Vatican and you can just walkdowntown from there. Lots of fun people staying here- and the scenery isreally pretty. Overall, a great experience :)

Review 103:Had to bring our own towels but when we got there found we could rentthem from Seven Hills

Review 104:The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Bungalow was basicbut adequate, warm and clean. Shower cubicle could do with a freshen upwater pressure not fantastic.Budget accommodation 1/2 hourlycourtesy transport to train station from 0800 - 2100 and it only cost 1Euro to get to central Rome.

Review 105:Very very difficult to reach. Really far from the center of rome, atleast 1 hour from the center. The so-called 'shuttle bus' of thehotel is not convinient at all. Sometimes we had to wait for 30 minutesat a little train station. We lived there in January, it was so cold inthe room that we can't sleep during all the night!!! There'sonly one tiny heater in each room which is just like a decoration-there's almost no heat at all!! In the room the temperature hasreached below zero. We regretted a lot that we have lived here. Eventhough the price may be low, it doesn't value what it worth! If youwant to reserve this one, please don't!

Review 106:Very far from the Rome centre. We had to walk really far from the trainstation because the shuttle bus was not operating. You have to walk upand down hills before you reached the village. Took about an hour bytrain to Rome.Very cold!! I went during winter and the heater was very small and didn't help at all. We booked for bungalow but was given a wooden cabin instead. The blanket provided did not keep us warm at all. We thought we're going to die in cold.

Review 107:Cheap. Restaurant and staffs were very nice

Review 108:It has a lot of greenery artound.the staff is very helpful and friendly, the place is very calm.

Review 109:Very good Nice hotel Good value

Review 110:Poor mobile signal reception.

Review 111:The site

Review 112:Everthing are fine. Excellent hotel clerk and services.

Review 113:- nice and clean

Review 114:no privacy and a lot of noisy youngsters

Review 115:everything else

Review 116:The lights in the room were very dim.

Review 117:Shuttle service was great for getting to the train station!

Review 118:Loved courtesy bus to railway station

Review 119:Amplasare ,servire.etc.
