River Retreat Bungalows is within a 12-minute drive of both Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Club and the Gold Coast Airport. Surfers Paradise is a 30-minute drive away.

Review 1：We enjoyed every minute of our stay, the cabin was clean, well furnished,and the staff were friendly and prompt to fix any issue (Light bulbs out in our case) Great place, well away from the crowds but near enough to have easy access when wanted. While we enjoyed plane spotting, some people might have an issue with the planes which pass overhead regularly.

Review 4：We were having car troubles late on a saturday afternoon and had to find somewhere to stay that would accomodate our dog. The staff were very helpful. They allowed us to park two cars on site. Allowed our rather large puppy to stay in their dog friendly cabin. Come monday morning we weren't sure if we woukd be leaving that day or required another night. The wonderful owner allowed us extra time after check out to figure out what we were doing. All of this with a three year old and a dog that would normally not be allowed due to his size was simply fantastic. The oark was kept in an immaculate condition. The facilities were seemingly newly renovated. Vety ckean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I will be returning to the park for a proper stay rathet than 'emergency' accomodation. The next time we will have the time to enjoy our stay.
