Review 1：We stayed for a week in September 2015 and enjoyed everything about the hotel and the island - the staff and owner could not have been more helpful in giving tips on what to see and helping us out - we would strongly recommend

Review 2：We had to stay an extra night in Salina as all of the ferries were cancelled because of a storm. But staying in the Mamma Santina very nearly made up for the stress of the delay. Beautiful hotel, with simply, lovely traditionally decorated rooms. The pool was lovely as was relaxing in hammock on the terrace outside our room. The staff were friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. Tasty evening meal and fantastic breakfast. Would love to stay here again if I return to Salina.

Review 3：This hotel is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful and a mine of advice about the islands. A nice pool and delicious food in the restaurant served on a lovely terrace. A beautiful spot with a great atmosphere.

Review 6：A beautiful setting and facilities. The staff was awesome and very helpful, made extra efforts to get us transportation and very informative about the island. For dinner we had fresh fish that was caught earlier in the day by the owner and cooked for us that evening. They told us they wanted us to feel at home and they did just that. We will be back!

Review 7：Begin mei (mét schitterend weer) was de perfecte periode voor een verblijf van 3 dagen (4 nachten) in Mamma Santina. Zeer goed onderhouden en goed gelegen familiehotel, met een heel lekkere keuken, en personeel dat instaat voor een persoonlijke service. Bijzonder geslaagd.

Review 11：The service is great. And its genuine with a family feel. All team is doing everything to make you feel welcome, and they do it with a big smile. The wine selection (and knowledge) was impressive and at breakfast I enjoyed the possibility to order hot dishes fresh from the kitchen. Keep up the good spirit!

Review 13：My wife, our six month old baby and I are delighted to have spent our holidays at Mammasantina. You really feel at home over there thanks to Alessio and the wonderful staff of Mammasantina. Our sincere appreciation for the personal treat and the kind attention we received from Francesca, Silvio, Petra et al. We were sad to leave and look forward to our next stay there.

Review 14：Thanks to Alex and the team as you feel like a member of the extended family when you stay here. Alex went well out of his way to help us use our few days here. Breakfast was nice (thanks for making a gluten free cake and more importantly noticing we were late down to breakfast and keeping some for us). Our room had a small balcony overlooking Panerea and Stomboli , the pool area is small with a lovely pool (note there's only one place in the shade). We ate lunch there one day when we were too tired and hot to move and ate the best dinner we had on the Island. We can recommend Mama's pasta sauce with 11 herbs (gluten free pasta for me!). A lovely spot. Highly recommended.

Staff assisted with purchase of Malvesia wine with grower. Great pool and pool furniture and decor and colours in complex and rooms.

Review 20：Everything about our stay at Mamma Santina was fantastic. The staff could not have been more helpful. They were all multi-lingual speaking up to 6 languages fluently. They were really helpful with suggestions of what to do. The room and bathroom were enormous. Fabulous views. Beautiful pool. High speed Internet everywhere at the hotel. Breakfast was included and was really delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. They made omelettes scrambled eggs on request, great coffee. We ate at their restaurant each night and the food was really delicious, highly recommend the pasta mamma santina with 14 herbs a simple dish but the best in Italy so far. They drove us back down the hill to catch the ferry and were very apologetic they had not picked us up as that is included in the price but not made clear by booking. Com. Actually it is not very far from the ferry and well sign posted so easy to find. This is by far the best place I've stayed so far in Sicily.

They give you good advice on what to do, discounts for scooter renting and they even returned for us our scooter when we decided to leave in the first ferry.
