Review 1：Convenient location, lovely hotel with a nautical theme. Otranto is a great small town. Staff was pleasant and very helpful always. Breakfast was a plus.

Review 2：Attractive hotel - beautifully and interestingly decorated. Staff helpful and friendly with excellent language skills. Only ate once in the restaurant but very good.

Review 3：The hotel tried to put us a family room and pass it off as a superior room. It took a stern approach to get what we paid for and we were disappointed that we had to do this and when we were finally shown to the superior room there was no comparison. Always stand up for your rights.

Review 13：The location of this hotel is ideal, close enough for a nice stroll into the walled city (we liked going in via the harbour) but not too close for any late night disturbance. Parking was easy with a dedicated car park across from the hotel with plenty of space. Great range of breakfast choices. Extremely helpful staff even with limited English, nothing was too much trouble.

Review 14：Excellent position and super service, loved all the maritime features that made the hotel very special. What a collection! Also be the restaurant was superb both food and decor exquisite.

Review 15：Room thermostat showed 25 degrees and could not be changed day or night. The air conditioning was either turned off or broken. Staff said different things but were powerless to sort it. They suggested we open window which meant a night of fighting off mosquitoes. Although the fan worked it blew the hot air around. Breakfast was not great, most food in packets and nothing home made. Tinned fruit, packaged jams etc.

It is very convenient to Otranto and within walking distance of the old town which is fascinating with its shops, cafes and restaurants. North and south of Otranto are interesting towns and beaches particularly for water sports.There is a hill up to the old town of Otranto that may cause problems for people with serious disabilities. Great and helpful staff ready to resolve any issues so no problems. Would like to have stayed for a longer period

Nice 30 min walk to the old town. Restaurant closed for lunch, so we walked to the marina, had wonderful mussels. Breakfast buffet was adequate with fresh fruit assorted cheeses and sweets.

Hotel is elegant - and full of fascinating maritime treasure - maps, beautiful ships lights, curios (e.g. scrimshaw and meerschaum pipes). 3 sunny terraces. I ticked budget-friendly because though not the cheapest ( it's 4 star after all), we found it excellent value for money. Great breakfast, not the usual Italian style; it kept us going through 2 swims. (The Restaurant was closed for the season when we stayed, so we didn't have a chance to try it)

Review 61：Room design. We stayed in one of four mini apartments (aka superior rooms) that open directly onto the courtyard, but in our view they are not particularly well layed-out. Sleeping platform upstairs with large wardrobes, but all drawer units located downstairs... Also, very dark inside, very little natural light. Heavy condensation from radiator in toilet sometimes left pools of water on the floor. Water dripping from air conditioning unit upstairs also left pools of water on the floor. Rooms in main hotel building may be better according to other reviews. No laundry service!

Review 63：This is more than a hotel. The nautical theme is well established with museum pieces tastefully displayed throughout the hotel. You need time to enjoy this treasure! The location is close to one of Puglia s most beautiful old towns.

It has been designed around the owners collection of maritime memorabilia which is as well exhibited as it would be in a top class museum. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall we had a very good time here.
