Review 1：The staff was present when we had the breakfast, so we could speak together. The breakfast was excellent The staff was really friendly and willing to serve.

Review 2：We didn't know that check in wasn't until 3:30 but it worked out fine.

Review 3：The room was very clean. The bathroom was big and the shower was great. The breakfast was really good. It included meats, cheeses, pastries, yogurt and fruit. Great location to walk to all the sights. It had an elevator which was good.

Review 7：We can't really comment on B&B Del Centro, which looked charming from the outside, because management moved us to Hotel Bristol which is large, impersonal hotel within the same area of the city.

Review 8：We were not entirely satisfied with our designated room but they changed it for us into a nice and spacious room, and they were very understanding and helpful. The breakfast area is cosy and we had our best breakfast in Sicily there. The staff/owner and his girlfriend were very kind. For dinner they recommended an awesome restaurant. Altogether, this is a very nice B&B in central Sicily.

Review 9：Wifi signal was very weak. Almost not possible to Watch TV. Maybe because we stayed on the upper floor

Review 15：Dario and family were marvellous hosts - and helped with every aspect of our stay, including transport - they is proud of their restored B&B with good reason, and it is different, comfortable and welcoming. There is a small lift also for the luggage and the breakfasts were superb. When we had problems with the address of our new place in Rome, Dario and one of the brothers went our of their way to help and made sure we were ok, though it was not their fault. I cannot praise them enough!!

Review 16：Walls were paper thin. Could hear full conversations and snoring in room next door! Wifi didn't work. We were given a password in our room but it didn't make sense or work.

You can not use the lift, but the stairs and nearly as bad as the lift! Room was also quite noisy, even though it was on the second floor.

Bad driving directions on booking.com. Hard to find parking. Terrible street noise and air conditioning not work to cover up noise. BUT BE CAREFUL: the booking.com website says it takes Visa but they refused to do so and only said they would when I said I would call booking.com and notify them and then they said they would take Visa. CHECK IN ADVANCE THAT THEY WILL TAKE. Score: 5.5 of 10.

Review 36：I don't drive and depend on public transportations and that could be a nightmare for a solo traveler like myself! Forget the trains when you think about Enna !

Review 39：Very friendly, kind and hospitable guest family. Quirky and interesting B&B in the town center within easy walking distance of all places to visit. My room was a bit outdated but comfortable. Good wifi. Limited free parking is available in piazza nearby, although you need to pay for peak hours during the day. Excellent breakfast.

Review 40：... Only drawback is the noise from the street during the night. We really had problems to sleep. But everything else, especially the breakfast with salami and cheese is strongly recommended.

Review 41：From the moment we arrived in Enna at the B&B Del Centro, we were made to feel immediately at home. We arrived early and were allowed to leave our bags at their place and were even offered to have breakfast even though our check-in time wasn't until 3:30. The breakfasts were wonderful: fresh cappuccino, macchiato or espresso, fresh bread baked there and fresh produce. Dario was so helpful in answering our questions and helping us navigate the area and our language barrier. We could not have asked for a more lovely, comfortable and memorable stay in the town of Enna!

Review 42：I suppose the appeal of this place is that to many it may be quirky. It simply is a 270 year old building which has been badly converted and maintained. We booked here for the night to break the drive from Cefalu to Noto and we arrived at about midday. Fortunately for us there was someone cleaning the place who let us in, and after ringing the owner, let us have a key to our room. Others arriving a bit later had no such joy and were told over the inaudible intercom that no one would be there to let them in until around 15.30. Good guest relations building. Everything in the place looked as if it needed a good dusting. I am not fooled by old machinery and so-called antiquities being left in strategic places trying to give me the impression of antiquity. An example was a 2013 calendar on a fake Egyptian piece of papyrus wishing all and sundry a happy new year in Italian. Our bedroom was small and the mattress broken. We only discovered this during the night when the lower sheet parted company with the mattress. The room was over the street which is part of the city's one way system. Very noisy, although this is not, of course, the B&B's fault ! Although the shower flowed water, the 'stand' was broken and showering was by hand holding the head. The lavatory cistern failed to automatically refill after flushing. The breakfast was modest, to say the least.

Review 43：Central location. Very hot water, pretty instantly. Only cost Euro 55 for the B&B for one night.

Review 45：The owners were a brother and sister young with engaging, positive personalities. The B&B has character and atmosphere and is right next to the main square. My room was very adequate and great value at the price. I had a very civilised stay. Enna is an unspoiled place where the locals still look at outsiders.

Review 46：Access to the rooms in the Proserpina B&B is hindered by the steep and narrow stair. However a small and quite slow elevator allows lifting luggages to the room with little effort.

Review 49：We spent only one night at the B&B, but we wish we'd spent more! The father and son that run it were really nice and welcoming from the start. The decoration, old style, is awesome, and breakfast excellent. It's 2 minutes away (on foot) from the restaurant and night life area, with great views over the surrounding villages, 5 minutes away from the cathedral and 10 minutes from the castle, from which you can even see Mt Etna!! All in all, if I ever go back to Enna, I'd choose this B&B 100% sure!

Review 50：because this is an old building they have had to be very creative in adapting it. This means that it is a bit cramped and particularly very little room in the shower. Anyone overweight would I think struggle

The family/staff is very kind and accommodating to all our needs and questions and knows the area very well. And the breakfast was excellent and they even offered homemade confittures. Review 53：Very happy about our choice of where to stay in Enna. Staff friendly and helpful. The place has clearly been refurbished quite recently with a lot of dynamism and imagination. Quite by chance we found we were in Enna for the culminating weekend of the Festa della Madonna della Visitazione, which no doubt added to the number of decibels emanating from the nearby central square into the early hours, but this simply made the whole experience even more authentic and delightful.

Review 54：We stayed just one night in Enna on our way to Ragusa. Enna itself is a beautiful historic town which deserves more time for exploration. B&B del Centro was really great, the friendly and welcoming Laura informed us her home is our home and indeed that is how it felt! Laura's breakfast was the best I had in my 10 days in Sicily- artisan cheeses and ham, lots of fresh fruit, delicious bread. Would highly recommend and wish I had stated longer. Nora, Dublin

They were considerate to give us a room that didn't face the street as it was noisy. Location is good for walking around Enna and parking wasn't such a nightmare as we thought it could be. Review 93：The proprietor and his family were very welcoming and helpful. The proprietor took our to park it as it was difficult. The building itself was interesting and historic. We could walk out of the hotel and find restaurants and the historic buildings of Enna. The breakfast was very plentiful and good. The fruit was squeezed while we waited. When we left, the proprietor drove us back to the car with our suitcases.

Review 94：The bathroom was very small and can be challenging for big people.

Review 95：The hospitality of the hosts were outstanding. Laura came to help parkour car near the B&B. We were so lost as the streets are not wellmarked and the same street was disconnected. The B&B is on a one-waystreet. Unless you are driving from the main square, you wouldn't beable to drive to the front of the B&B. Laura also spent much timetrying to figure out why the sim card I bought would not connect myphone to the network. She also put us in a room facing the inside whichwas very quiet. Breakfast area was beautiful, like a cave. Breakfast wasexcellent, much more than the normal sweet bread. We wished we had onemore night in Enna. Laura was also very helpful with directions andrecommendations. We enjoyed the restaurant Trinacria she recommended. Wefelt we experienced local life by staying here. Very central locationtoo, once you find it.

Review 96：Through no fault of the B&B proprietors, and hopefully now rectified, Google maps gave the wrong location. Although not far away, (we arrived by car in the rush hour), this did give rise to some anxiety - solved by a very helpful bar owner.

Review 97：The outstanding feature of our visit was the welcome and helpfulness which extended throughout our short stay. In fact somebody came with me to park the car at a free location, and in Enna that was very much appreciated. By typical Italian standards the breakfast was well above average and the fresh orange juice was superb. The decor in much of the public areas was both most unusual and delightful. The ingenuity with which so much is packed into this quite ancient building is reason enough to recommend a visit. Our room, (and bathroom), was surprisingly spacious, very comfortable and well appointed. The location is excellent for exploring Enna on foot.

Review 112：This is a family run business. At check out, the father yelled loudly at us in fromt of other guests, claiming that I dis-respected him when I gave him my credit card to pay (he believed I let it fall on the table, which was completely wrong). I aplogized several times while asking to know what have I done wrong. Yet he doesn't speak English at all and also had trouble to operated the credit card reader, so his daughter who was very kind the previous evening, started also to shout, while speaking about "Sicilian Honour" and said that we should return to our country, etc. All this in front of other guests that asked her not to yell. This lasted for 3-4 very embarassing minutes. We came to this hotel folllowing recommendations on the website, and now I am very insulted and will never will visit it again. The behaviour in this B&B is completely opposite to what we have found in all the other hotels in Sicily that we booked last week. In the other hotels, allways the staff members were very friendly people, happy to help, to give advice, to smile etc.

Review 113：If anybody does not like Enna or in particular this B&B, then theyshould stay at home and not venture the world.

Review 114：An excellent family-run B&B of 2 adjoining medieval buildings in thecentre of this beautiful hilltop town. Staff are lovely and veryobliging. Obviously this are converted old buildings, the rooms are notthe same, so they can vary in size and features. Don't be put off bytitle or appearance. Also the owners suggested a great tiny restaurantaround the corner. Inexpensive traditional food and wine. Unfortunatelywe only had 1 night.

Review 115：We arrived late and tired on a busy evening but were welcomed warmly.The owner even took the trouble to come and drive/park my car. Thebusiness is family run and nothing was too much trouble for them. It isvery centrally located and I would highly recommended it.

Review 120：I booked this b&b but was picked up and delivered to the owners other b&b Centro Sicilia. I did not realize until I entered the building and it became apparent it was not Del Centro. It was also very late at night and the owners left before I could question it. Centro Sicilia is rather tired and in a noisier location than del Centro. It was , however, clean and the female staff member pleasant. Felt very ripped off by this deception, would not recommend.

Review 121：Plastic plates at the breakfast where a surprise but looking on the facilities there is no place where to put a kitchen and a dishwasher

Review 122：Laura and here brother are running this B & B and they really care for there guests - what more can you ask for. We booked a room, got it and asked for the roof terrace which was under renovation but they offered us immediately another room which had a beautiful balcony and we where able to sit outside and enjoy Enna from the 4th floor. Actually, even you need to go up some 60ish stairs there is a lift for the luggage - brilliant. We absolutely recommend this place - easy to find, helpful with parking on no cost and Laura and her brother gave us proactive hospitality!
