Reviews for Divinus B&B
Review 1:Everything, we don't often take time to write reviews but this one required one. The couple that own the property are amazing, nothing was to much. When we arrived there was no public transport running over the weekend due to a local festival so they gave us a lift to the local train station in the mornings and collected us at night. They didn't speak a word of English and our Italian was a little rusty as we'd only just arrived but between a translator on our phone and memebers of the owners family we were able to ask anything we needed and get an answer, by the end of teaching each other our Itaian was much better and their English was brilliant. Free upgrade and fruit, when we arrived they told us they moved us to a bigger room so we had more space as we were staying for a long time and other guests were only there a night at a time. They also have a massive fruit garden and in the room we had a fruit bowl of all the things they grew (needless to say fresh fruit is amazing) this was all free. The other stuff. The room was perfect very big bed and loads of storage space in the way of wardrobes, drawers and a desk. The shower was always hot and plenty of pressure, standard toilet/sink/bidet setup for the rest of the bathroom. Breakfast: Never went hungry at breakfast, had everything you would expect from a standard continental breakfast. They will serve breakfast at a time to suit you and if there's something you want that they don't have then ask and by the following morning it will be there. Be aware this property is OUT OF TOWN and you need your own transport or be happy to use busses (176) At night there are loads of places to eat within walking distance (max 20mins) it is on a hill and everything is down hill from the property.
Review 2:Nothing at all.
Review 3:We arrived late New Years Eve and didn't have many options for dinner. Without hesitation and despite their own festivities, they cooked us an amazing meal, refused any payment for it, and were up at what must have been very early the next morning to prepare for us yet another amazing meal - breakfast. We really felt like family. After saying goodbye, we then continued up the road and climbed Mt Vesuvius on New Years morning. Magic.
Review 4:Simply a super nice location at the Vesuvio, with very very nice Staff. We've tasted his own excellent wine, and he even gave us a lift to Napoli. Love...
Review 5:Those who are noize sensititve at night will have bad sleep. Or close windows and switch on conditioner.
Review 6:Everything was ok, except noizy cars throughout the whole night
Review 7:- Wifi connection only available in breakfast room
Review 8:- Very kind, warm and helpful people that gave us a lot of very helpful recommendations for visits and restaurants - Only 3 rooms, very cosy - Free and safe parking spot - Enough privacy - Fruit and vegetable cultivated in the garden
Review 9:Lovely family Beautiful villa in great location with closed parking
Review 10:The rooms were wonderful. Giovanna was very helpful. She contacted us before arrival to assist with driving directions. Breakfast was wonderful. There was off street parking. You would need a car to get around as it was a fair away from restaurants etc.
Review 11:the B&B was very close to the airport, we didn't want to stay in Naples the night before we flew so this was perfect. the drive is less than 30 minutes (we drove at 6.30am on a Monday morning). We also visited Vesuvius and Herculaneum whilst staying at Divinus B&B and it was very close for us. The location is in a quiet location on the outskirts of Naples, there are a few restaurants close buy but the one we went to was about 1 mile away and we drove there. Divinus B&B was an excellent choice for us.
Review 12:A very accommodating family run B&B, with excellent facilities.
Review 13:Friendly owners, really a good start to discover Vesuvio.
Review 14:The area of San Vito in which Divinus is not an attactive area.
Review 15:Warm welcome, exceptional cleanliness and very well maintained.
