Review 1：The mattresses were a little soft for my taste, but I still slept very well.

Review 2：Great location in the heart of the old town. You can't drive to the hotel, but they came out and picked us up in a golf buggy to bring us to the hotel. Great views from the roof terrace.

Review 4：The weather was "monsoon-esq" as we entered the hotel literally drenched to the bone, on our bikes. the staff could not have been more helpful and dried everything. The room was really comfortable, shower hot, breakfast delicious and recommended wine, excellent. Hope to return soon. Thank you so much.

Review 7：The staff - Maurizio and Patrizia were both exceptional! Maurizio gave us a lovely welcome and a guided tour of the hotel complete with history of the family-owned property and information about the old town. Patrizia went way beyond mere helpfulness in phoning other hotels on our behalf to contact other family members, and assisting in confirmations for ongoing travel... all with a lovely smile. The staff in the restaurant, both waiter and chef, were also friendly, helpful and went above and beyond with their attention to detail and level of personal service.

Review 10：Wonderful location near to the Cathedral. Very pleasant and peaceful room with a comfortable bed and good en suite facilities. The hotel has retained its elegance and history whilst providing modern facilities. The breakfast terrace area was an ideal way to start the day and the breakfast proved to be excellent with a good variety and choice. All of the hotel staff were helpful, happy and communicative. We really enjoyed our two night stay and would be happy to return.

Review 24：The location right by the cathedral, the very elegant public rooms, the incredible staff - so helpful - even came to get us as we couldn't drive into the pedestrian zone and provided valet parking for us - thank you! The room was very comfortable with great linens. The breakfast was incredible - wish I could have eaten more! The resident chef cooked us our own special dinner and the cost with a bottle of good wine was very good value - under 100 euros! We will have special memories of this unique experience!

Review 27：We had a large family suite, very quiet, large comfy bed, large bathroom, fast wifi. Staff was very helpful, took our car to the parking lot and retrieved it. Excellent dinners and very delicious breakfasts. The rooftop terrace is the place to hang out.

Review 64：The thing that stands out is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff which is exceptional. They organised lots of activities for us including, bike hire, guided bike trip, horse riding, massages and beach club. It has an excellent location in the heart of the old town next to the cathedral. Beautiful building. Room was spacious with welcoming drink and fruit and cakes, breakfast great with more cakes.. Nice roof top to relax in with spa tub .

Review 65：This hotel was perfect, we couldn't believe our luck finding this gem, from its amazing stylish room that has two floors to the beautiful terrace and view, to the little touches. We were treated very well on our stay so we would recommend this hotel to young and old. What also was amazing is that this hotel is at the top end although as we were out of season we paid a minimum cost. Loved it .....

Review 69：The historical part of town is so close and walking the town is a real easy walk to do sightseeing, shopping, restaurants, etc. the sea views and lovely and a nice place for R&R

Review 70：The only problem was getting to the hotel by car: the historic centre isclosed to traffic and one needs to contact reception to send someone tolet you through to unload the luggage. But not a big issue.

This might seem a small matter but there are no shops near the hotel for purchase of daily necessities. While on arrival we were told there is a computer available for guest use, this was out of order for the entire stay. There was WiFi available without extra charge but the signal was erratic.

Review 73：The location is wonderful, just beside the cathedral. The hotel is situated in a lovely old building with sitting rooms furnished with beautiful antique furniture. The breakfast is made up of tasty home-cooked dishes and great care is taken to keep the buffet well stocked and to vary the content each day. Staff all speak some English, some very well, and are friendly and helpful. The spotlessly clean bathroom is stocked with lovely Etro toiletries. The bedroom was small but quite conveniently laid out with enough storage in the right places.There are many souvenir shops, restaurants and bars nearby and a sea view from the roof terrace.
