Located just off the SS185 national road in the Gole di Alcantara area, Casale Romano Resort is surrounded by fruit trees and offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea. The property is comprised of 2 buildings, set in extensive gardens with outdoor swimming pool.
Rooms are located in the old wing dating back to 1898 or in the modern building. All rooms are air conditioned, with tiled floors and satellite TV, some have sea views. Apartment also have a kitchenette and dining area.
There is also a wellness area with sauna, Turkish bath and massage room.
Part of the Slow Food movement, the restaurant serves traditional Sicilian cuisine made using organic ingredients. During summer, meals are served out on the terrace.
Located 12.4 miles from Taormina, the Relais has a peaceful location. The Mount Etna cable car is a 1-hour drive away.

Review 2：Beautifully situated in the mountains East of Etna. Huge apartment converted from a working winery. Onsite restaurant served beautiful Sicilian cuisine. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

Review 4：The location is excellent for relaxation and the surrounding of the resort is the idle set up for winding down after a day exploring the Sicilian country side. The host go out of there way to make you feel welcome and at home. Food was perfect. Highly recommended.

Review 15：We had to ask for bathroom soap and more towels, but all was arranged within seconds. breakfast is a poor and boring. The rooms are a little bit hot in summer as the AC's are not sufficient.

Review 18：The hotel is on the main road and easy to find. Walking distance from Alcantara gorge. Very relaxing place. We had the pool almost exclusively to ourself. We even haf a small bar b q by the pool! The owner got to know that we were celebrating a family occasion and we found a nice small cake for breafast! Thanks to the staff. Also they also presented us with a nice cold sparkling wine in the evening xxx. Owner is very fluent in english and very helpful.

Review 19：Quite difficult to spot, room is not a 4 star standard, we were givena disabled persons room, and we had two single beds made closetogether. Although I would recommend the hotel this hotel was quiteand relaxed break.

Review 21：As a small minor, the rooms are a bit thin -walled. In general the amount of walking trails which are marked are limited. With a proper map it is doable.

Review 24：Very good location if you like to discover east Sicily, very peacefull accomodation just relax in the garden around the mountains and orange trees (you will need quiet and relaxing enviroment after all-day drive in Sicily).The kitchen is very good they just use organic(bio) food mainly from their gardens or from the village. The Alcantara just 3 minutes.

Review 25：The adress is not updated, the name of the street is nomore Mottacamasta, so you cann't find it with gps, breakfast was too late forus, at 8 o'clock it was not prepared yet, location is not friendlyto pedestrians, the street is too dangereous to go on foot, even verynear, you have to go everywhere by car
