Review 1：Amazing view, perfect food and wine! Felt like in my own home. Room with all the como lake view was stunning! Will be there again for sure. Highly reccomend if you like nature,frindly people and cozy atmosphere.thank you lovely family!

Review 7：the staff is rude. we arrived late as our flight only got to Milan after 9 pm. the owner/manager at the desk was rude and unhelpful. we asked for something to eat for the kids at 11pm and the guy refused to give us anything. he said he had no fruit, no bread, absolutely nothing. surprising considering he runs a restaurant too. i have never heard of any restaurant completely running out of all food. he was just plain rude.

Review 17：The route from Como to Brunate is "interesting". The written directions on booking.com are helpful but Italian street names are often difficult to spot! Better to follow the map, persevere, and the journey's end is definitely worth the trip.
Review 18：The hotel is in a stunning location overlooking Lake Como. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and our room was clean and comfortable with lovely lake view. Dinner was excellent, great choices, generous portions and very good value. Breakfast was also very good. Our amusing and well-travelled host spoke very good English which helped with our rusty Italian!

Review 21：What appealed to us was the modestly furnished hotel in traditional mountain style offering tranquility and unforgettable panoramic views of Lake Como. For those who cannot leave without TV or WiFi…it’s all there. Watching the light breeze caring the eagles beneath you while sipping your fine Italian wine on the terrace…is pretty amazing. The hotel is neat and clean, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is simple and tasty and very popular among the local community who often gather and socialize at Falchetto. To our opinion, this is one of the finest hotels at the lakeshores of Como. We recommend it to people who like the real things.

Review 23：The unpleasant & uncooperative attitude of owners. It was clearly expressed in my observations that peace and quiet were absolute priorities. I was offered an ok room with a beautiful view facing the Como lake but under my window there were restaurant tables for clients amd guests to eat out. When asked about the dinner schedule, l was told there was no such thing. Therefore, customers could stay out talking loudly and making noise for as long as they pleased. They clearly did not honor my request and, on top of that,they made us pay and extra night blaming it on booking when it was their own doing. Lousy behavior and disgusting conditions. Absolute lack of empathy & understanding The access to the hotel a nightmare for all drivers. I will never return there or recommend it to other people.

Review 36：The approach to the hotel is was the scariest experience of our whole trip. We were driving a large van and we could feel the walls on both sides of the road closing in on us. Falchetto's signboard at the Tabbachi shop is placed on the wrong road. One should take the road on the right to reach the hotel safely. It's a nightmare to try to get a taxi pick up at this hotel.
Review 37：The location was excellent. Our room was a corner room with a wonderful view of Lake Como. I believe the food is great at the hotel but it is limited. They need a lot of advance notice - we didn't get any. The staff speaks good english and friendly. The deer sighting was a bonus. We saw a whole family and they come right up to the hotel. In all a great visit.

Review 39：Be careful of which road your GPS may have you go on to reach it. Ours took us on some extremely narrow roads (we came from the south of the area), just big enough for our Toyota Camry. There is a second road from the city which is much easier to maneuver.

The owner/operator spoke good english and was very friendly and helpful. We have already recommended it to friends planning on visiting the area.

We could arrange our check-in for the next morning flight via Internet on their computer. Driving to the hotel (abt.20min from Como) was exciting and funny. You need to be prepared for narrow roads where only one car fits. The hotel is not easy to find but once you are there the view is great.

Review 50：Not easy to find with gps system, as I read before booking. However, when you are "uptown" in the village, try to find the direction to the "centro sportivo", then the hotel is indicated, not that difficult!

Review 52：The hotel is a bit far away from the teleferic and, with no bus in the area, one has to walk about a mile if he is not renting a car. Not that it is a terribly long distance but it becomes a problem during entry and exit when carrying your luggage - even if it has wheels. Fortunately the owner/mgr was very helpful in driving me to/from cable station. Would this service be offered all the time?

Review 55：It is a very beautiful location. The best is sitting outside with aglass of wine and looking down on the lake and the surrounding.The food is very good und quite authentic. There is always a different choice on the menu depending on season and availability of fresh ingredients. It is a little bit of an adventure to drive to this place but with a good map, GPS and some eyes to find the signs it is no problem

Review 59：The most magnificant view over the "Lago di Como". On top ofthe hill with a long terrace the hotel is on a perfect place to enjoysome excellent wine while watching the sunset. The hotel is run by afamily. Guests are welcome in English, Italian and German. Already theway up the hill from Como is a little adventure. Some streets are justabout 2 m wide. A wonderful place to stay where guests are treatedlike family.

Review 66：The hotel has a great view on the lago di Como. The ambiance was familiar and the staff really friendly. The two beers came with a little snack of salami, cheese and olives which was really nice to have on the terrace. The dinner was excellent italian kitchen and we finished our bottle of red vine in front of the fire place. It was really relaxing and nice ambiance.

We all had the beef which was not very big, and mine had gristle. There was a tomato sauce that was too tomatoey and the only other thing on the plate was a massive dollop of polenta which was completely tasteless and even the tomato sauce couldn't improve. Tha tv in my room was very small and there were no English channels despite being satellite.
