Review 1：Thunderstorm could not dampen the beauty of the place

Review 2：Beautiful views. The hotel is being renovated to become a beautiful wedding venue. (Last touches only)Sparkly lights in the trees, gardens dotted with tables chairs and sofas. Room was great and the hotel is right on Vesuvius. Friendly people to greet us, who really made us feel welcome.

Review 3：The location of the hotel is perfect embarkation point for Naples, Vesuvius & Pompeii as well as Amalfi Coastline and Sorrento. We stayed there for 3 days and easily reached those points as actually the hotel is somehow in the middle. Situated in the base of Vesuvius and high above the sea level is giving a brilliant view to the entire Gulf of Naples. Relax in the nicely maintained garden with cocktail in hand overlooking the sunset – just a dream.

Review 4：Location was beautiful and very tranquil with wonderful views. Staff friendly though didn't speak a lot of English. Food delicious; evening menu had large portions of excellent fresh dishes for a reasonable price.

Review 8：A beautiful location on the slopes of Vesuvius. Excellent food, especially in the restaurant in the evening, where we sat on the terrace with an amazing view of the Bay of Naples. Staff were very friendly and even bought soya milk especially for my husband.

Review 9：It was impossible to tell if the glass doors were open or not. One of our party bumped into them and was quite badly bruised. The noise from the reception desk carried up to the bedrooms and the staff did talk loudly.

Review 38：Nowhere much to eat, and certainly impossible without a car as the location is very isolated, off a suburban road, up a poorly made dirt road, adjacent to the walking track up to Mt Vesuvius. The few restaurants in the neighbourhood had weddings, being a Saturday night, although we did eventually find somewhere. Ercolano itself is a very poor, run-down outer suburb of Naples. Its only attraction is the ancient Roman site of Herculaneum. No other reason to go there.

Review 39：A very nice young couple running this small hotel who really try hard to make you feel welcome. It is in a large garden setting in a very quiet location, as it is some distance from Ercolano--this is a big Plus. The hotel is at least a 15 min. drive from the hotel down to the site of Herculaneum, which is outstanding.

Review 40：It would be nice to have a savoury choice at breakfast- a little cheese or ham or maybe an egg, but the breakfast is generous and good. Lovely croissants, warm bread and cakes, jam, fruit juice and of course excellent coffee.
