Review 17：We stayed two nites in this B&B. it is not easy to find this place as the road which my GPS showed was under constructions. Once we found it I knew it was a good choice. We got very warm welcome,however, Italian is a preferred language. Breakfast did surprise me. Aunt of the owner baked a cake which I couldn't resist. There was a great variety of the food. We got a room with private but external bathroom which I really enjoyed. There is a huge balcony available with a beautiful view of Naples bay. B&B itself is located in a quiet area. I would def stay again.

Review 22：The day we arrived one of our rooms was not available - Luca did make it up by not charging for that day. The rooms were clean, but not exceptionally so. Staff spoke no English, except for Luca.

Review 24：It's better to add coordinates from the map to a GPS device to be sure: Naples and Ercolano are not the places easy to navigate. Maps are not accurate there as well. Look for and follow the signs "Herculaneum BB". And be not shocked of the rubbish along the roads. It's Naples :)

Review 25：Very clean, safe, friendly, cosy and pleasant place, if you travel by car to Vesuvium, Herculaneum or look for overnight. Big garden with oranges, citrons, other italian fruits and three cats :) Private parking, restaurant to have lunch and dinner in 300 meters. Good strategic position: Vesuvium is 5-6 km up, Herculaneum is 5-6 km down, combined with calm and silent location on the very end of Ercolano city. Every turn or the route is marked by sign "Herculaneum BB", not so difficult to find.

Review 27：Hotel is not far from Vesuvius. There are lots of signs, which can help you find this B&B, because GPS is not really helpful. This B&B is far from the city center, so it's okay for those who travel by car. There is huge private parking. In the evening you can enjoy amazing view of Napoli from the terrace. Sister of the hotel's owner can speak Russian! So if you're not fluent in English, she can help :) Сестра владельца гостинницы отлично разговаривает на русском! :)

Review 28：Nice starting point to discover Naples, Ercolano, Pompeii and Vesuvius. Really calm and relaxing place with wonderful view to Naples and sea. Excellent cappuccino and cornetti for breakfast (also you may ask for fried or boiled eggs). Luca was very kind and gave many useful advices about places of interest, restaurants etc. Having a car makes your stay more convenient as the place is quite far from the public transport.

Review 32：Lucca was a perfect host, friendly, helpful and spoke good English. He made us feel at home, even though we had made a mistake about the pre-paying arrangement. Perfect starting point for seeing Vesuvius and good views of the bay of Naples. Enjoyed a perfect sunset across the sea.

Review 33：The approach was a little disconcerting. Arrived through backstreets where there was a lot of rubbish about. No hot water the night we stayed. Credit card machine was apparently not working. Fortunately we had enough cash with us to pay.

Review 34：Stunning Views over Bay of Naples. Easy access to Vesuvius and Pompeii. Aircon and blackout shutters in room. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Cassa Rossa - their recommended restaurant... only a few minutes away.Don't be put off by the entrance... actually is a nice place to eat again (cash is preferred) with views of the bay. But watch out for the car parking man... he wants tipping!

Review 35：I had the room next to the breakfast room, so a little noisy when people had breakfast. The bathroom was very small and without proper ventilation, so there was a bad smell and mold was growing on the walls in the shower.

Review 54：I loved the stay at Herculaneum B&B. Luca, the manager, was very friendly and recomended some good things at the amalfiecoast. And the view from the balkony is great!

Review 55：Depending on what you're looking for in a B&B, the Herculaneum B&B can definitely be booked. The only catch is, that it's not close to the city center. Don't try to walk. Take a cab. Or arrange with Luca (the B&B host) to pick you up / drop you off. The B&B is close to the Vesuv. If you have the endurance to hike up the whole mountain (takes you about 2 hours - if you're fast walkers - to reach the parking lot and another half an hour to reach the top). Also in terms of restaurants, there are limited options close by, if you want to walk. However, if arranged, Luca will bring you to an restaurant, so you do not have to walk. Moreover, if you like to walk around, be aware of the dogs. There are lots of stray dogs in Ercolano and those dogs can be dangerous.

Review 60：Maybe we were just unlucky in comparison with other guests who left excellent reviews. What we disliked: The room in the former garage. The window could not be opened so we felt being in a cellar without any light and fresh air. The design. It is a matter of taste but we didn't like it. Besides the room was not cosy with a lot of empty space and renovation in progress (holes instead of some sockets etc). Luca was there on the 1st day. On the second day another host was serving breakfast. He was very slow and seemed to be doing it for the 1st time. Our request for the receipt upon check-out was rejected as he didn't know how to do it and promised to send the receipt via mail which never happened. Overall we wouldn't like to stay there again.

The hotel has charming view on the Naples and has very nice rooms with large TV,large bed and good shower) Our room was in the basement and has its own enterence - and besides the place in front of the door where you can sit on the sofa and drink your wine looking on the sea. The room was very clean, the breakfast - tasty, the atmoshere - excellent. Luca - the guy on the acceuil - very helpful and open-minded - he cab advise you what to do, where to go and how to find. The restaurant near the hotel - la Rotonde - very nice. We would like to return there in summer)

Review 66：we were easily lost as we were driving on our own, however the host tried to give us some pointers to find things easier.. use some caution if you drive, the drivers around are very aggressive!!!

Review 67：The host was very graceful with our little child and immediately offered us a better room (an upgrade) for our comfort. I very much appreciated that i could use the B&B kitchen to prepare for the child anytime of the day. The setting was very comfortable with a garden for the young one to play and quite for all us to have a good sleep. Overall a very good accommodation, close to the sites yet far from the hassle of the city.

Review 68：we really liked this accomodation at Herculaneum B&B:) The representative Luca was very attentive abd helpful; he picked up us at the centre of Herkulaneum and drove us to the B&B and back many times; he prepared a nice and tasteful breakfast; adviced how to visit some sights; For those who arrived without a car- is a little bit to hard to reach the B&B from the city centre, because it is high at the Vezuvius mountain- but Luca is always at your service:)

Location is superb for exploring Herculaneum and Vesuvius (pretty much at the start if the mountain road to the car park near the summit) Stunning views of the bay of naples. Secure, free car parking. We arrived late afternoon and were greeted by the exceptionally helpful, friendly and knowledgeable Luca. He provided so many useful tips and recommendations (especially wine tasting at Vincenzo's - a local wine producer, in the family for 5 generations!) Very clean, comfortable and well decorated rooms. Highly recommended!

Review 72：Location is away from everything else. The road up the hill is steep and narrow and the B&B can be hard to find first time if you arrive as we did with own car.
