Review 1：The forniture of the room is old and sad...the window did not close perfectly so the noise ot the traffic get in....

Review 3：Very friendly staff in a clean, comfortable hotel. The young lady that checked us in was very helpful in recommending and making a reservation at quite a nice restaurant- Locanda de' Medici. Light breakfast.

Review 4：No restaurants nearby, 10 minutes walk to town centre but not an issue as I drove and I was only passing through overnight. Parking was charged even though town is a sleepy hollow and lots were abundant.

Review 5：Staff were wonderful, always cheerful, smiling, helpful, offer info.... from the moment I stepped in to the moment I left. Wifi worked with no hassle and strong signal. Nice neighbourhood but then Grosseto is a slow, quiet, peaceful, retirement type of town based on what I saw but it was a Sunday.

Review 8：Easy and fast check in. Nice room and bed, quiet location. We went to the spa, which is only open in the early evening. The attendant was very nice and made us an herbal tea! No one else was there so it was very pleasant.

Review 9：this is typical city hotel, breakfast nothing special, fitness did not work in the morning i.e. at 9 a.m. the rooms are not soundproofed. You wake up in the morning because of other clients. The parking was ok for the first night, but next night they have prohibited to park the cars on hotel's parking as they have awaited a bus. The bus did not come till our departure:)

Review 11：Private beach costs €25/day. Breakfast could see some improvements, and interior parking is not free (you can park on side street for free - there is plenty of space).

Review 16：Good location,easy walk into town Centre.Staff at hotel were cheerful and helpful.Ate at hotel first evening,and had a very good meal.Room was spacious,and kept clean and tidy for the three days that we stayed their. The centre of Grosseto turned out to be a bit of a surprise,better than we had thought it would be. Whilst their we visited Massa Marrittma,and Castiglione.Both well worth a look Overall a very enjoyable stay

Review 17：- No pool at the Hotel - Private beach is in cooperation with a beach operator where you can also go without being a guest at the hotel and you would pay the same price (as far i we understood)

We had to stay in Grosseto because our campervan broke down so we did not stay there out of choice but in the event we enjoyed our stay immensely - Grosseto is not only very under-rated as a base from which to visit e.g. Castigliano da Pescaia, Pisa, the nature reserve, the coast and Massa Marittima, all by public transport, train and bus, which ran pretty much to time and was reasonably priced, but in addition, Grosseto itself has a number of very decent restaurants, and the old town is charming.
