Donnafugata Golf Resort & Spa is located in a landscaped rural setting on the Donnafugata Estate. It features a free summer shuttle service to its private beach area, free Wi-Fi in public areas and access to 2 golf courses and a golf academy.

Review 1：The hotel has two restaurants and if you are not alk that hungry in the ecening, the selection of snack meaks in the piano bar was a bit limited. The pool needed a bit of tlc in places and was not totaljy clean everywhere.

Review 2：We liked our room with a south facing terasse. We enjoyed the pool and the golf courses. The staff were very friendky.

Review 3：The spa was very poor experience, we were a group of 4 adults and each booked a treatment. 3 of us were very disappointed with our treatments. For me (40min treatment) I was left on my own for at least 25mins and this was the same for the other members of the party (body wrap and facial treatment). We all felt that the therapist spent more time outside the room than in it! We did complain to management but nothing came of it which was a shame - I would definitely skip the spa if I came back.

Review 4：Breakfast was superb, staff were very polite around the hotel and reception staff were helpful. Food was excellent value at lunch and pool area was very nice to relax in.

Review 8：this is the perfect high end location in a well renovated historical building with luxury to indulge yourself with hard working staff making you feel as a true guest of honor! The breakfast was super, dinner possible in both simple or fine dining restaurants, the links golf course very well maintained, a private beach reachable per hotel bus service, a duty manager connecting with the guests all day making sure special requests are made possible...all very good value for money!!

Review 9：No golf on TV. Staff excellent most remembering it was our third time there however on check in they had no idea we'd been before. At pool area bar staff should maybe go around to see whether customers want to order anything. Food was great at 10th hole restaurant in the evening but we were disappointed with food upstairs for the second year running.

Review 11：The staff was wonderful and made you feel welcome without overdoing it. The resort is new (or at least newly refurbished) and in a very good condition. You can easily stay here even if you're not a golfer but it's more enjoyable if you are!

Review 17：Location if quite far from everything. Unless you play golf, there is really nothing you can do besides laying by the pool. You need a car if you want to get out of the resort. If you like a quiet place, I would recommend it but if you like a bit of movement you can imagine with an Italian city, this is not the place to be. There is also an infestation of flies and wesps. It is preventing you from eating a relaxed breakfast outside as well as staying too long near the pool.

Review 18：Very nice pool and gym. Breakfast is excellent with lots of pasteries and bread, make your choice of eggs, fresh squeezed juices, fruits, yoghurt, eggs, ... Dinner in the restaurant is good and reasonably priced. The rooms are spacious

Review 21：As the hotel is located miles from a town, and we did not hire a car, the prices for food and drink were quite expensive (compared to prices in nearby Marine di Ragussa). €7 for a pint of Heineken was over the top! The evening menu in the clubhouse could benefit from a few small changes i.e a choice for non-seafood eaters! (There was an option of steak which was fab, however, you can not eat steak every night!) A Chicken dish / burger / pizza would have been a welcome addition! We had a serious issue with ants in our room and in our bed, (2nd floor, room 2215) my partner had a few bites! This is not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. We did complain to reception and small bill for room service food was taken off our final bill.

Review 22：The place is fabulous, very quiet, very luxurious. The staff are all lovely, pleasant and always greeted us with a smile and a good morning. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, plenty of space and even a glass of Prosecco was included!

Review 23：The room was tidied but never cleaned properly .The patio area was not swept at all during our weeks stay.The biggest problem was the infestation of house flies in the resort which were a constant annoyance .

A special thanks to Agata who not only cleaned our room but who was always so helpful. the whole set up is such that you would simply want to come back again another time.
