Review 2：It was much more than we expected! We had almost an entire flat! All very nice and perfect! Really more than expected!

Review 3：The staff were incredibly helpful and generous in offers to assist in any matter. We arrived at nearly mid-night, following plane delays, and the owners were waiting to welcome and assist us. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean. Most comfortable. The huge terrace was a welcome bonus. The location right on the village piazza is fantastic.

Review 4：There were problems with wifi, but credit to hotel manager, they tried everything to fix it and we were able to use wifi in the café and Palazzo Frigo's office.

Review 6：My girlfriend and I had a great stay at Palazzo Frigo. After a long day's walking we really appreciated the use of the on-site sauna and the rooftop view is amazing. We had a great night's sleep in the bed, and in the morning we enjoyed chocolate croissants and coffee in the bar. When I accidentally left my kindle under the pillow, only realising at the end of a day's trek to our next hotel in a different town, our host actually drove to where we were staying to deliver it. Amazing service from a lovely host! Would definitely recommend.

Review 8：The facility is great. Clean, modern, and spacious. The manager, Mel, is terrific. She goes out of her way to be available and to insure your stay is enjoyable. She is a big asset to the property. The location is also great for seeing the historic part of the town. The value is very good.

Review 9：Outstanding small hotel in a beautifull village. Rooftop terrasse with great wiew. Perfect base for exploring Tuscany. Very good restaurant nearby. Friendly staff that could not do enough for you. This was the best hotel of our stay in Italy. Would definetly go back.

Review 17：We spent out first night of honeymoon here. Montefiascone was the perfect little place and this hotel is right in the heart of it. Amazing views, great walks up to main church and gardens. Hotel was very accommodating. The spoilt us with bubbly and access to the rooftop with great views. Very spacious. Modern rather than traditional style.

Review 18：I can't give this hotel or it's staff enough praise. They were so helpful and kind. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean. We stayed here at the beginning and then at the end of our trip, both times we very very impressed, on the return stay we had the penthouse.... What a wonderful space with a private terrace overlooking the square.

Review 23：Just took a moment - ask a local - where the place was. Parking down the hill which was rather circuitous but it is being set up quite differently soon. Owner's son went down with us in the car to show where, and to come back.

Review 24：Friendly helpful staff helped get bags into room. Lift available. Took up to rooftop for sunny view of whole area. Had a quick look on way to top of lovely lake and countryside. Needed to allow more time. They have set up buffet Italian style for breakfast and outside tables were great for drink. Local restaurants to eat, but I couldn't walk too far. One handy was OK. Spacious rooms.

Review 26：Alessandro & his father Sandro(?) were wonderful hosts. We were met outside as the new entrance isn't complete yet and signage yet to be installed. The facility was excellent with large room, very clean and overlooks the main town square. Alessandro could not have been more helpful and as we are from Canada, it was great to find another RUSH fan so far from home. Private parking for our vehicle and every detail was looked after. We were transiting from Naples to Florence and this was an excellent overnight stop. Thanks for your hospitality and wish you every success! It was a pleasure to meet you! Review 27：We had a wonderful stay in Palazzo Frigo and will definitely come back! The Palazzo is very centrally located in the historic center of Montefiascone and has an amazing view over the village and its surrounding landscape. The room was spacious, clean and well thought through. The bed was very comfortable. Palazzo Frigo even offers a small sauna. You can have breakfast in the bar on the ground floor. The owner and his son were very friendly and helpful and made our stay as comfortable as possible! We definitely recommend Palazzo Frigo to everyone looking for a nice&central place to stay in the beautiful village of Montefiascone!

Review 28：The "front door" of the hotel is hard to find... there's no big sign out front. You just enter the "Il Caffe" bar downstairs facing the courtyard and that's where you find the hotel proprietors.

Review 29：This hotel is without a doubt the nicest I have ever stayed in! For a very reasonable price, we got not only a comfortable bedroom, but a nice foyer, a lovely sitting room, and a large, modern bathroom.

Review 31：Good central location and handy parking available. Friendly hosts - we didnt use the cafe, but a good choice available if you don't want to use the kitchen. Nice bedroom and private outside space.

Review 32：- WLAN is the same as in the café and accessible via hotspot with vouchers from there (which are free), it would be better to have a separate WLAN with fixed password - WLAN is not accessible in all parts of the apartment and not stable overall; in the bedroom it is fine but in the living room it is not stable

Review 33：- the Junior Suite "Corallo" opens towards a Piazza with a fountain which is a marvellous view - the Piazza is quite busy which I liked very much but for those seeking silence one of the the other apartments might be more suitable - the small kitchen is well equipped - thanks to Mel the rooms are extremely tidy and clean - the café in the ground floor is very stylish, features a terrace towards the Piazza as well as a terrace facing the mountains; the dishes are good and the personal friendly - the owner is extremely friendly and willing to help with everything - the roof terrace of the building is accessible for all guests and features a marvellous view on the lake as well as on the mountains; it is not equipped with furniture but chairs can be borrowed from the owner

Review 35：We loved the girl who showed us the apartment, very nice and speaks very good english. This place do not have a elivator but the boss of the place gladely helpd us all the way up with our bags. The apartment is very nice and the terrace is splendid and amazing. The apartment is right in the center with a lot of nice restaurants and cafes right outside the doorsteps.

Review 36：Appartment located in centre of the village had plenty of room, a private terrace and access to the shared roof terrace. Also included was private parking.

Review 37：We were one of the first to stay in this newly renovated hotel. Wifi is a problem; hope they get it worked out as it is the only negative thing I can say about our wonderful experience.

Review 38：Fantastic view, lots of room in this stately art deco style building. Mel and her boss, Sandro took good care of us. We stayed in the penthouse and cooked dinners that we enjoyed on the roof top terrace. Lots of Etruscan history all around the area, and we enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of nearby Lake Bolsena.

Review 39：There were 2 things. Firstly,we were unable to park our car on site but the upside to this was that we were given access to a locked compound to park our car which was about a 3 minute walk away. Secondly, there were no lifts. we were on the second floor and had to carry large suitcases up numerous flights of stairs.

Review 40：This was quite a surprise. Centrally located in hilltop town of Montefiascone, Italy, its exterior moulded in with the surrounding buildings, but its interior brought you into another world. The room our daughter occupied was completely renovated with modern décor whilst our room was the size of an apartment. The kitchen and bathroom was modernised whilst the bedroom and living room were very large. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also, the rooftop to this place provided spectacular views of nearby Lake Bolsena and the beautiful Italian countryside. Highly recommend this place.

Review 49：There is no suggestion even for any improvement. But there is no elevator, so if you can't climb a few stairs it is a bit difficult.

Review 50：Everything is more beautiful and perfect then you can imagen!!! The place is huge and clean and comfortable, the staff is so kind and helpful and the village is a dream. You have to experience this and stay for a few days. A treasure!!!

Review 51：The experience was overall excellent but a few things to keep in mind when booking. First, there is no lift in the building so being on the top floor with heavy bags or difficulty walking stairs would be a problem. Also, the top floor was extremely hot at night and because the unit faces the square, it was very loud so we could not keep the windows open at night. The owner is planning to get AC so ask first for a back unit in summer or bring earplugs to sleep in (which is what we did and it was fine). We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend this hotel for short or long stays, it was really very comfortable.

Review 52：The apartments were fantastic. The building was recently refurbished and the owner appears to be renovating the units one by one. We saw two different flats, both spacious and well equipped with full kitchens and large bathrooms. The top floor unit has a huge terrace that overlooks the main square and has excellent lake views. Rooms were clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, large fridge, coffee maker and washing machine. The owner is friendly and his assistant was helpful and very accommodating. The location is perfect, dead center, within walking distance to everything and directly above a café (same owner) which has a great staff and excellent coffee and snacks. Parking is in a secure lot directly below the building and it is free of charge.

Review 53：The only issue was taking our bags up 2-3 flights of stairs but we had gracious assistance from hotel staff which was most appreciated.

Review 54：Palazzo Frigo is off the usual tourist beaten path so we really felt like we were experiencing real Italy. The accommodations were wonderful and we were made to feel very welcomed. The roof top patio has a 360º view of all the lush surrounding countryside with long range views of Orvieto and Lake Bolsena. A great base to see Orvieto, Montelpuciano, Pienza. This hotel is a gem.

Review 55：We had a huge, magnificent apartment. The Palazzo is located right on the piazza at the centre of town. Really helpful, friendly staff. There's no hotel office per se : everything is done from the cafe (called, surprisingly, "Il Caffe") on the ground floor of the building, and that was just fine : very nice cafe too.

Review 56：Lovely decor inside with birds eye views of the square from the windows. The host was extraordinarily welcoming and generously shared information and possibilities with us to insure our stay at Pallazo Frigo would be unique and memorable. It was. We loved it!
