Review 1：Breakfast, although adequate, could be a little better.

Review 2：Hotel Il Colonne is centrally located. Rooms are very comfortable and decorated very tastefully. Everything in the rooms is functional, spotlessly clean and smart Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant excellent.

Review 3：Staff was so accommodating! They offered to upgrade us to a suite on the last day at no additional cost! After our check out, they even let us leave our luggage in the lobby so that we could enjoy the town for a few hours without having to lug our bags around, which we really appreciated. We had a great stay!!

Review 4：shower stall is extremely small even for a kid. No wifi at all in rooms, patio and lobby, only in the restaurant in lower level which was spotty. False advertising on wifi which was a feature we needed and based our hotel choice on, Room very bare, like s motel 6 needs decor that evoke prayer or spirituality. A picture of Padre Pio or an angel would have been a nice touch.

Review 7：The location was so near to the places of pilgrimage; the cleanliness and comfort of the room and the hotel in general; the pleasant disposition of the staff; the excellent lunch and dinner food.

Review 8：(1) Its location. Just a few steps going up to the pilgrimage centre and a few steps going down to the bus station and commercial shops. (2) Its restaurant, either for lunch or dinner. Food was good! Well-prepared, presented. And service was very good.

Review 11：The wifi is only available in the common areas of the hotel like lobby and restaurants. There is no wifi inside the rooms.

Review 13：We need it to leave the Hotel early to the air port, and we asked for a packed b/fast. What we got is, two huge slices of stale bread with NO butter just ham and cheese, water and an apple!!! :( Pity!!! When we only asked for two rolls!!!

Review 18：Located right by bus stop and the 2 churches, location could not have been better. All staff spoke English. They even upgraded my room for free! Dinner at restaurant was good and free breakfast (included with room) was amazing. I highly recommend this place!

Review 19：Very nice receptionist. Although her English wasn't very good, with help of google translator we managed to communicate well. I traveled alone but got upgraded and had very nice room with King size bed. Very good localization. Close to bus stop and Padre Pio Basilic.

Review 21：The room was immaculately clean. The staff was very kind and courteous. Breakfast was ample, I especially liked the cappucio/espresso machine! The best part is the location. It is a few meters from the Church and the bus stop. I highly recommend Hotel Le Colonne,and I look forward to my next visit.

Review 22：While the room was quite adequate for my one night stay, for a twin roomspace was minimal eg 2 beds pushed tight together,limited floor space& built-in storage where a ladder would have come in useful, nobedside lamps.Feel it would have proved rather cramped for itsdesignated purpose on a longer stay. Preloaded Euro Mastercard notaccepted had to give cash.

Review 24：I didn't care for the fact that they ran my CC when I made the reservation & when I got there they had me pay for it and said they had credited the CC back (this was to see if my card was real). 10 days later the credit is still pending! This was the first hotel in Spain that did this on this 2 week trip.

Review 29：I really suggest this hotel while visiting San Giovanni Rotondo. The hotel is only 150 metres from the church and also very clean. The stuff is extremely kind and they made our stay very pleasant!

Review 30：The only downside is that you do have to walk down steps to get to the reception area, but after that elevator available for everything else.

Review 31：Angela at the front desk was so sweet and helpful, speaks some english and helped me a lot as I was very sick from medication when I arrived there. The room was simple but comfortable, and meets needs, with a balcony. Mariangela at the front desk also, speaks excellent english and really helped me and went out of the way to help me get some statues shipped back to the US, which turned out to be much more of a task than we both thought. She even has to drive them to another town to have them shipped. I can't thank her enough as (at age 72) I was sick and just wasn't able to carry them back to Rome by bus and train. It is a really nice area around the hotel, and had I been feeling better I would have enjoyed my 2 nights better. Would recommend this to anyone, and very close to The churchs of Saint Pio. People very friendly and took time with you. Basic Italian breakfast, and large breakfast room.

The room is very clean especially in the new wing where we stayed. The location is perfect as it us only 50 meter away to the Santuary of Padre Pio.

Review 41：It was with delight we arrived at Hotel Colonne after spending 2 nights in Rome. We paid double the price for a tiny room (very clean) but Hotel Colonne was such a pleasure, modern, simple and beautiful, staff so helpful and friendly, breakfast with lots of choice, evening tourist menue excellent in both food and value. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Review 64：Everything was excellent in this hotel, and its location is very close to the Basilica. The staff were all exceptional and couldn't fault the experience we had with them. Would like to thank the owner for all his assistance when we encountered issues with our hire car. The hotel offers very good value meals if guests don't want to leave the hotel, many promoting the local produce. I would have no issue recommending this hotel.
