Review 3：One of our two rooms (406) was extremely noisy since located over the restaurant kitchen. Smoking was generally allowed at the restaurant and the few non-smoking rooms inside it were not closed. Therefore there was a persistent and annoying smoke smell.

Review 6：Everything. The spa is new and very nice, excellent relax zones and 2 bio and finnish saunas. Breakfast is very good, the staff is extremely kind and the hotel is clean and built in typical Austrail style. The restaurant serves good Austrian dishes. Location is good if you have a car (free parking available) it takes about 15 min to get to Salzburg city.

Review 8：Do not get deceived by the outer look, the inside is truly pure tradition style with a modern feeling. The staff are good pros. The spa is the newest part and a sucess. We had an angle room with a very comfortable and space to fit four easily.

Review 18：Wellness area is brand new and really great! One of the best wellness hotels we have visited. Breakfast selection is like in a 5* hotel. We haven't used the restaurant for dinner, but it was quite full in the evening, so I believe the quality is really good. Nice touch was free bike rental, which we used to go to Salzburg :)

Very good Bavarian food( my husband's favorite meal of our entire trip) Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Spacious rooms and huge bathroom. The decor was very typical Bavarian decor, although somewhat tired and kitschy, especially the lower level. It could use some updating. all in all a very comfortable hotel, but not much for our older kids to do in terms of entertainment.

Review 90：Hotel starting to be dated and needs maintenance. Fridge was broken but they put a new one in once I complained. Fan in bathroom noisy and on last legs. Shower bar was loose at the top. No A/C so room hot when weather is hot, but they provided fans when requested. They are on the border with Germany, and a metal shop operates across the border 24 hours/day except Sunday, but the noise was slight and did not keep us up at night.

Review 95：This is a wonderful hotel and a demonstration that you get what you pay for. £486 for 3 nights B and B. Beautiful hotel, in a beautiful setting with the Untersberg cable car at Grodig only 6 miles away and Saltzberg only 4 miles away. Stunning stunning location. Don't normally return to a location already experienced, but would do in this case. Staff were also very helpful, friendly and polite. The hotel has a terrace for afternoon and evening dining as well as the internal restaurant.
